there are different types of cores some guys are batrider cores some guys are sven cores.

But in ALMOST ALL cases you will want to play a team that is playing more games, yes.

Do tell how 100 gold helps a support in the start of the game when you go looking for a fight. You toss your spells and you're done with it. 2 branches? Mango? How are those better than having to walk back to base to buy a courier instead of walking to lane?
