EO4 is a good entrypoint. It's easier than some of the others, but is a good representation of the rest of the series with party building.

EO2U classic mode is harder, but also fun. People have differing opinions on the story modes of the untold games.

Just avoid 1 and 2, and only play 3 after you've gotten used to the series. 3 is pretty rude and has some useless classes and trap skills, so it's better to go in with knowledge of how the games work.

Progenitor uses very strong elemental attacks that can induce other bullshit things like binds, so I needed a way to fully prevent that. Having two Zodiacs thanks to the Ninja subclass allowed be to completely block and counterattack two elements thanks to the Prophecies skills, and having a Hoplite in the team allowed me to negate the last element.

I know it's not the most ideal way, but it worked. I went fully blind into the game as well, so I didn't know about boss patterns and such.

To those wondering is there's no more level 70 cap in EOV, there still is. Max level before postgame is still 70.

A Hoplite is still a really good class to have in the party. There's also the Indomitable Limit, or just have someone heal the Gladiator after they cast it. There are several ways to get around the 90% HP penalty, which only happens when you use the skill.

Scratch that, the scrolls are like the EOIV scrolls, they just level a character up to Lvl. 20 when you talk to a bar patron.

Once you unlock the 3rd Stratum you can give a 2nd title to as many members as you want, provided they're Lvl. 20 or higher.

The black jelly enemies on the second stratum must be killed via poison damage to get it's conditional drop.

Yeah, the cia just leaked yesterday.

In all honesty? It's far from perfect. I don't want to say it was phoned-in, but it definitely lacks the "spark" the other games all had and doesn't really go out of the comfort zone of the most barebones EO mechanics. It's telling that the inclusion of 4 races is the most daring new thing the game attempts. Also it's easy as hell even on the designated """hard""" mode.
But i'm still enjoying myself. At the end of the day, EO is still EO.

Not yet. Their hands are likely totally full with P5 and SMT so I doubt we'll be getting it for quite some time.

I also forgot to mention that the soundtrack is lacking. If anything in the game was really phoned-in, it was Koshiro's work. Not only is the track count smaller than even EO1's OST, but there are like 5 remixes in it, and one of them is yet another Raging Winds remix. It's probably the best battle theme in the OST, but that's mostly just because it's already a top tier song.

It's the Dragoon's upgrade to the Bunker in the Artillery Master specialty tree. It has a little less aggro and defense compared to a Bunker, but can counter attacks.

Will only counter if it actually gets hit, as both the Bunkers and Tochkas seem to have some sort of natural evasion as monsters miss them quite often.

You have 3 slots that you can summon shit into.
Dragoon can summon up to 3 bunkers, Necromancer can summon up to 3 ghosts, and Hound can summon one of either a wolf or a hawk.
Running two summoning classes isn't damning but neither of them will have as much room to stretch their legs as they want.
