You're discounting his high movement speed. Ability to flank and peeker's advantage for light armor operators is invaluable. Also, ADS is absolutely essential to point-defense; grenades, lethal or otherwise, make assaulting a fortified position much easier. They're under-utilized in casual, but they make-or-break ranked matches all the time.

Also, to reiterate, being light operators + having acogs automatically make Bandit and Jager the best defense operators at ranged gun-fighting in general.

Capitao seems to actually be a really solid operator for roambusting. He runs super fast his FAL seems to hit just as hard as the Mk17, but with 33% more bullets in the mag. Plus the crossbow seems at least moderately useful for taking down people around corners

Okay, so, huge question. I downloaded it on Steam for the free weekend, loved it, bought it off GMG for Uplay, and kept playing through Steam. I can't anymore, obviously.

Is there some way to transfer the Steam installation, or am I screwed into downloading 16 gigs again? I'd really rather not. I saw on Uplay there was a "find previous installation" button or whatever, but it doesn't recognize the Siege folder in Steam's common.

Any ideas?

Also, friend installed his off Uplay and says he lost all his operators/progress even though I thought that was tied to account. That going to happen, too?
