Homebrew on a handheld device in this age of tablets and purpose built emulation devices is just some guy trying to extend his e-penis and a stepping stone to piracy. There's a lot of other factors in there such as actually inserting the text, proper grammar checks, actually translating every single piece of text, the programming necessary, etc etc. The youtube translation is one thing, but from my interaction with hentai games general actually subbing a game or worse , altering the code, is quite fucking hard and often times is several times the greater than actually just translating the script (depending on the game)

Actually anon, if you take the same timeframes, the vita has a higher throughput. Inversely, compare the 3DS which has lower number of games in the same timeframe in comparison to the 3DS.

There's other sides to this coin I should mention to give you an objective outlook. Every generation of games going from the sixth(?) has had less games released than the prior generation based on platform with the exception of psp to vita Though I'm sure this number is skewered with indie shit, the number of cheaply made ports and indie shit on the psp is surprisingly large

It really isn't. There are times when it's clunky and monster AI has issues. The actual graphics are straight out of ps2 era. And the clipping is absurd.
