How exactly does taking on Desu/Crimson/Lotus/that one Orsha guild and getting /tosg/ free TP sound boring? that's literally exactly what you said about the best of the best fighting one another. Is sword 2+ for a shinobi build just a meme? People have been telling me that the buffs aren't as great as you'd think. I just meant that I dislike how long stuns in general last, that along with IMC's not so great queue system where you'll end up with no healers and all rank 5 players are my biggest issues. The fact that there is no diminishing returns on stuns in this game coupled with how long they tend to last generally seems to end with the first person to stun an enemy team wins since they will all die before they have any real chance to fight back.

Most monsters have a certain kill count where if you kill that many, you're eligible for a card from the wings girl. Use an addon or check your adventure journal to keep track of it.

For missons / merc quest, head to fedi and go to the Mercenary Post. Talk to Ramda and queue up for the Siau Mission.

Donnes handles daily quest which are mostly kill x monsters y times or give me rare mats.

How do you guys stay committed to a single character (your main)?

I'm having trouble staying committed to my Monk and constantly move around, trying other classes (mostly swordsman since a lot of the weapons are interchangeable) but in the end, always quit halfway through. Maybe the grind is getting to me but doesn't anyone else feel as though the constant cycle of doing quests and completing maps to be such a boring and slow grind? It's not very rewarding.

Why are monks so looked down upon? Anyhow, What would you guys suggest? My damage is pretty low so doing the grind takes extra long which might contribute to my burnout. Hello /tosg/, I am posting from the AWS datacenter. Amazon finally completed their cross-server cross-time protocol and I'm sneaking this post in for you guys. I could lose my job for this. It is the year 2017, early January. I don't have a whole lot of time so I'm going to make this fast.

Two days ago circle 8 finally came out. Mergen is bugged and attempts to consume arrows but those arrows don't exist in the game, I guess it was an abandoned game mechanic. Sage/Pyromancers are able to crash the server by duplicating prominence, and this combined with the new increased upgrade rate TP shop anvils has resulted in everyone having max upgraded weapons.

Necromancer has changed a lot. The skeleton archers hurt a lot but flesh cannon damage was cut in half and it only deals 10 hits instead. dvine killed himself yesterday, when we looked up his final 5v5 MMR it was 515.

Lolipan aka Pedro's disappearance back in July was because he made a deal with the cartel to smuggle drugs in return for a new laptop. He was later assassinated when it was found he was communicating with Atom to try and skim off the top of his earnings. FutureProof eventually fell apart, but Evergarden came back a couple days later and recreated it, they're a pretty good guild now.

Capyba quit CoffeeHouse after one of the random players he recruited called him a mean name. Most of the /tosg/ players on Fedimian quit within the next couple months after that.

F.O.E. is now officially sponsored by Conde Nast. At first we didn't understand but it turns out they own Reddit so that answers basically all of the questions.

Cats eventually had a heart attack from eating too much pizza. His last words were "American delivery pizza isn't that bad."

Uh well, first of all, Sword3 isn't very good at all. Even considering the concentrate and restrain buffs, it's just not good enough to take over other Ranks. Cata3 is good, in fact, id say if you're going cata, cata3 is mandatory. However, Catas use spears in which case you should have taken Hoplite. On that note, as a swordsman without peltasta, well, that's just awful. You need to take peltasta for swash buckling.

Something like Sword>Pel>Hop>Cata3. I'd take another circle of hoplite and transition into c8 Lancer.

What you have is a good pvp build or decent at least. other than that, none of anything has any synergy at all.

You won't land stabbing. If you do, you should have used dragoon skills that come out much faster. You don't need it for one handed spear attribute because dragoon already gets that. Finestra is bad because it shits all over your evasion in a dex-heavy build for marginal gain.
If you insist on blocking go S2 > P1
Mind you blocking is severely overrated on a Cata since the main threat is magic damage. Other swordsmen you can kite and the threat from archers comes from Dots, which blocking won't save you frome.
The main benefit would be against another Cata, but if they were holding block I'd impale them and bring them over to my wizard/cleric.

We could have a real shot at it every week, literally $600 worth of TP. That's $34,800 worth of TP a year. I don't want to see guilds like Desu getting that all because we aren't organized into one good guild.

Currently seeing as we only have three members, myself included, anyone is welcome so long as they are /tosg/.
Personally, I'm a bit in the middle ground about PVP, I currently just do TBL for my daily panda points. If I were to roll an actual dedicated PVP character however, I believe I could get into this game's PVP, as unbalanced as it currently is.
Ultimately, it will be up to those who join, if the majority want to PVP, that will be our main focus.
