I asked this in the last thread, but it died.

I installed the DLC pack for Fire Emblem: Fates on CIAngel. When I went into the game, I noticed that a lot of the DLC listed was called "reserved", does anyone know what this DLC is?

I had downgraded my 3DS a couple months ago and haven't used it since then, but I had to install a new SD card and now I'm stuck because the 3DS will turn off as soon as I turn it on. I used the arm9loaderhax.bin test payload on https://github.com/Plailect/Guide/wiki/Troubleshooting and the A button press test proved successful, but I have no idea what else I should have in my root folder in order to get my 3DS functioning properly again. Is there something like a premade root filepack for those who had already gone through the downgrading steps before but have to use a new SD card?

Question about the 3DS cfw and online play.

I see that there's several different ones to chose from and wanted to know which cfw will still allow me to play online with no problems.

I recall people using cfw reporting that they were being banned from online play some time ago, but I'm really knowledgeable about the details.
Do you just need the latest emunand firmware for online play?

Also, once I get my cfw set up will I have to update those files every time I update my emunand? Or is it okay to just keep the same files and update my emunand as needed?

There's no homebrew launcher support below 9.0 except for Ninjhax1 (which doesn't support a lot of other modern stuff). But sure, if you have a cart that updates you to 9.0-9.2 and a way to get into homebrew on that version afterwards, go for it. Browserhax should supposedly work properly with different browser versions too now (since the 11.0 one came out and overhauled the code).

I don't know of any OoT carts that go to 9.2. In the US, it's only one specific revision of Smash that has it. EU has some shovelware with it and JP has none.

You don't need CFW to install a legit .cia, just privileges similar to downgrading. You could install them on 9.3-10.7 without CFW for example. Only games that ship preinstalled on consoles can be turned into a legit .cia because those have perfectly signed tickets that are valid for any console.

Even if we get an IOSU hack, keep in mind that building the infrastructure to actually have useful CFW takes some more time. Smea dropped a bunch of useful patches but didn't drop a way to actually load the patches, a signature patch, a way to install stuff (wupinstaller might work), an SDK for us to build our own custom installable files, tools to dump NAND/format RedNAND, etc.

Exploit soon would be nice but it'll be a bit longer before there's a practical way to use it.

I bought my Vita for Gravity Rush then turned it into a glorified PSP which I use every now and then for PSP games(no Vita games have really tempted me).
