i do really like the idea of true survivability and i will probably endeavor to sleep each night, or every other night, and if i'm in the wilderness so be it , since i'm not going to use fast travel. I have an alternate start, so i plan to pick the hunter in the woods option, only take the woodcutters axe, then forage until i can create a bow, then hunt a shit load of creatures for pelts, sell the pelts, get a horse, and then start doing quests.

My only worry is since i have all 4 of the populated mods, OIBS, Immersive Patrols and Realistic Animal Predators, im going to be running into stuff all the fucking time, which will be carnage but hopefully fun.

I just hope to god i don't run into a bear. I have Bigger Badder Bears and the bears are legit like 9 foot tall on all 4 fours

Sam's backstory is lengthy, but for briefity sake she came above ground to find a means of restoring power to her house after it was left vulnerable from the loss of a powerful ally. Elanor doesn't know. The angle I'm approaching is one where Sameyr meets Elanor while was slaying dragur or skeletons and heads deeper underground as she suspects the cave is the nest of a necromancer. When Elanor sees Sam, she's being attacked by Falmer (or whichever enemy, i haven't committed to it yet) and aids her. She'll inquire as to why Sam's there, and Sam will work the angle that humble explorer who got in over her head. Elanor will chastise her, and remind her of the dangers of carelessly adventuring, and while suspicious of Sameyr, still aids her in exploring the underground tomb/cavern/ something. After their search, their adventure continues, and they kill off any enemies in area. Here I want introduce a trust arch, but I am uncertain of what they will face. Either Sameyr or Elanor will be wounded or at a great disadvantage, and one will have to rely on the other for survival. The event will encourage a sincere and mutual appreciation for one another. Afterwards they part ways and meet up again much later, years or months I haven't decided, and catch up.

Sam's likes Elanor because capable, attractive and intelligent company. Haar described her as formal, and she's a highelf - so I ran with the idea of her being somewhat heroic or at least very confident and priding herself on her knowledge and strength. Ultimately, Elanor enjoys being relied on and Sameyr is lonely.

The whole arch I'm running with right now is that it's summer and Sackman is away at the Bard's college in Solitude. I forgot the book I read but there was an entry about the seasons and how the privileged threw parties during this season, leading to a very active Bard's college. He's off drawing, or writing music, penning plays and poems...and Sameyr is at home.
