Hunting Bolas.

Gunner weapon akin to the bow (unlimited ammo and has a weak melee attack by swinging the bolas near you).

They come in two varieties, one with actual balls on each end of the rope (deals blunt damage) or with bladed tips (deals cutting damage.

the Daora gun is essentially the most damage you will get with a piercing gun, the flaws it has are the weak load ups and it relies on pierce 1 so much that running out of ammo is an actual concern in hunt-a-thons

I like this idea if it used say the way gunners cycle through their ammo, except you wouldnt have to 'load' them. You would lob them with R like you would aim a bow shot. Has anyone done any research on how Chain Crit works? It's probably the most vague skill description in the game. What counts as a missed attack; any part of a DB combo whiffing? HH Recital mode? How many hits does it take to get to max bonus? How long can you idle with the buff? Etc.
