Honestly Record Keeper doesn't hold that much appeal for me. You're leveling equipment and clearing hard dungeons just to level more equipment and clear harder dungeons.

The only real difference between a "normal" banner and Lucky Draw, besides the price, is that your average banner has a small selection of boosted items on them.

The term is misleading, though - they're only boosted over other relics in the same rarity.

You do not have a better or worse chance of pulling 5* relics on Lucky Draw or other banners. You have about a 13% chance per relic to get a 5* on the Support Lucky Draw or EITHER of the VIII banners RIGHT NOW.

The big thing to remember for Lucky Draw banners, though, is that you can ONLY draw 5* relics from a pool made up of all the uniques for the featured characters - ALL their uniques, even the early ones power creep has long left behind.

Dream Harp is the magical equivalent of Shout - Hastega and +40% MAG. It's not quite as valuable as Platinum Sword, because physical teams are still generally better than magical teams, but it'll eventually begin to even out more, so having that now is just fine.

Well, my streak of at least 1 5* per Lucky Draw continues. Tyrfing, then White Dress (IV), then Mystic Whip, Fairy Flute, and LJG (luckiest lucky draw yet), and now Loxley Bow. Ain't even mad that it's the lesser bow, I finally have a 5* bow so I can finally put that +bow damage RM to good use.

I also got a 4* throwing weapon, so that +thrown damage RM might finally see some action too.

Honestly, if you don't mind them being donuts, the current banner is not that bad - Hayate has the best phys dmg hat in the game as TM, Artemios learns barrage and Locke has a decent weapon as TM or you can just use the Killer Bow from the next trial on Artemios. It's just that besides Hayate's TM nothing here will last considering power creep and better characters, but it's not absolutely horrible.

Honestly, if I had money I would try pulling at least two Hayates for his TM, but I don't so I will have to content myself with the Tiger Mask.

Okay math time because I'm bored. Assuming you can do 50 battles in an hour(never really timed it so IDK), that means you'd need 200 hours (10000 battles) refilling to get 100% TM.

In 200 hours natural regen gives you 2400 energy, leaving you 7600 energy to refill. Let's say you're rank 50 and therefore have 60 energy. That means you need 127 refills which would cost you 12700 lapis.

So if you have 13k lapis to spend, you can make a fast macro and get 5 TMs in like a week.

Basically pick your poison: time or money.

Dude, with a high enough number of battles the RNG will correct itself, so it won't be that far from 10000. Same principle as a coin toss, it's not that hard to get 3 heads in a row, but if you toss it 10000 times it will average to 50% of each side.

I didn't get any of the really cool shit, but I'm always happy for new SBs. Quina's Mighty Guard SB actually ought to make building for the IX event Cid Mission easier, now that I think about it.

The other thing was Ulysses, which is okay since VIII is almost my worst realm synergy-wise.

By the way, CPU Nightmare gets shit on by Multi Break + Powerchain. Reapply it immediately after the nodes stop going haywire and the CPU will get cucked over and over and over again.
