In games with G-rank, weapons with long white are an acceptable trade-off for lack of purple, if only because you don't lose time sharpening to get back to purple.

It's more or less the same case for white/blue in Gens. Although it's a little more favorable to stay in blue since most weapons need S+2 (15 points) to get a decent white. it really depends.

Keep in mind that Sharpness is a flat damage boost. If you can consistently stay in White over Blue, it will almost always be worth it.

And with all the natural white weapons, and stuff like Absolute Readiness, there's really no reason not to unless you're messing about with Blunt.

Guild, but Adept is playable.

Thing is, few BM weapons can really benefit from the perfect evade (a lot of endgame monsters are so fast/aggressive you end up more vulnerable than not because of the stupid run after the evade) and HH's follow-up attack is a three-notes attack that is kinda slow and hard to aim. You can cancel out of any note tho, so maybe you'll get accostumed to it.

Just use Guild with the two evasion arts. Silver Narga is a nice set and should do ok.
