DDO was licensed in the west. MHX came out.
3DS continues to not have third party support. Imagepooch died.
R.Mika is actually a good character. Nobody in /fgg/ made a single win in pools.
Weapons are balanced in Tera. The production values of FF:BE are actually impressively high
Deathsmiles got a PC release. G.Rev isn't dead yet.

I can keep going but I think the point is made. Most generals have ended up being exceptionally wrong with predictions, because it is literally impossible to predict the future.

It's a chunsoft mystery dungeon Rougelike as in a rougelike and also the one with an original character and cast (as opposed to using other companies IP's).

Gameplay is solid and there is a shit ton of content. Difficulty is hard, like every Shiren before it, to people who aren't used to the series they'll probably have a bit of a ball with this.

For people new to the series the games are standalone (for the most part). So any entry is a good entrypoint, but the latest entry is always the best entrypoint. Excluding when the Wii was the latest entry as that game was bad.
