uhh, ok, I'll explain it in kindergarden steps: when you go to forge palico weapon, you see the screen with the weapons you can forge, F bone wedge is very first one. Right beneath its name, is "Balanced". Beneath sharpness, is "Melee Ability". When you press "R", it switches to "boomerang ability".

I'm asking what's the difference between those two? Some weapons had higher "boomerang" STATS despite being "balanced", compared to a "boomerang type", which had a lower boomerang stat page.

They also get fatigued REALLY easily.

The only post relevant to MHGen says you find them in meownster hunters, but I've done 10 expeditions landing all four cats in the rare area and only got rusted fragments and broken statues
