Hey guys, random question that I really can only think of asking here. So I have a hacked 3DS where I hacked it a while back (with menuhax/browser hax, making the emuNand, and then separating it from sysNand and using RXTools for some things) and I want to play FE Fates, specifically use online features, but to actually use the online features, the game says I gotta update the Fates software version. So before booting up the game, I click to update, and it seems to update, and even tells me it finished downloading and I can check the data in the system setting and whatnot. However, if I then go to boot the game it says there's still that game update, and if I download that, the whole process repeats and goes on forever. Just to make sure I tried going online in the game but it still says I need to update. Anybody know how to actually get the game to update?

I'd say Marx and Takumi respectively. Marx is an 8-Mov wall of death whose only weakness is Shurikens (and even then he barely gets scratched by them) and Magic which you have certain specialized units to take care of. Takumi is good early game but his obesity can be problematic. In a route where any unit can be good Takumi can be outshined by your other Bow users.

Sakura and Elise are healers and supportive combat units who act as quick delete buttons. Hinoka can provide utility or go pure physical if she gets out of her base class, Camilla is Camilla and Leo is a tanky Mage with utility.

How would you guys add guns in Fire Emblem?

Personally, I'd have it as a base class added to the already existing base classes, called by the name of Arquebusier.

The Arquebusier would be able to wield two new weapon types: The Rifle and the Handgonne, all grouped under the Cannon weapon class. The rifle has a farther range than the bow(a range of three squares), but does equal amount of damage, with a slightly higher critical chance. The Handgonne, on the other hand, is more powerful than the bow or the rifle, but is restricted to targeting foes from up to one square away(two squares for special Handgonnes).

Then, there would be specialist classes to upgrade to.

>The Musketeer, who wields swords and cannons. He sacrifices some accuracy for more competence with a sword in terms of attack.

>The Rifleman, who wields spears and cannons. He gets bonuses to defense and can be hard to kill if he levels up correctly.

>The Spellshot, who makes use of both cannons and tomes.

>The Cuirassier, who is mounted on a horse and makes use of swords and cannons. Not very resistant, relies on moving fast and their high damage to compensate.

And then there is weaving it into the universe of fire emblem. You could have it be a major focal point in the story.

Any character with a weak start is going to be listed low on the tiers, that doesn't mean that character can't be good normally.

Elise is great for healing and support but her bases suck because (lolbalnceinrevelation.

Sakura is shit and not worth using since you got Felicia for healing in early game.

Takumi is pretty much the Deke of Revelation. Very strong when you get him and for a few chapters but he falls off a bit when more powerhouses start to join.

I've been playing this game since it came out in Japan, Mozu is a solid unit, not the best (Niles is much better) but certainly not bad, and unless you don't want to waste a few turns by feeding her kills, which is understandable, there is no reason to not use her. Calling her bad is just a huge exaggeration that comes from retarded elitism, this is not FE10 Fiona or Meg we're talking about.

He can go Stategist if you want to fix his Spd without using DLC. He will still have enough HP to take a hit and can even heal now. Blindness is easily fixed by forged E/D-tomes. Targeting Res is great.

Elise's bases doesn't matter as much since her growths are retarded. That's why she's usually one of the early promotes in Conquest. The epitome of a glass cannon.

Sakura has a great personal and has access to 3 rally skills. She has enough bulk to not die to a breeze and can be a supportive combatant.
