Well, every major patch is that way. I remember when they added the level 30 achievement, the legendary spam went on for 24 hours and the server was crashing nonstop for the first 6.

Without nera, there is no reliable way to activate meiran stack. Without Mieran there is no effective Baltheon speed buff and his effectiveness drops. Without nera there is not enough spirit for active pass-active shot combo.

If anything it's really going to be more like chess, because both teams will be required to run the same units in mid if they want to succeed.
This change just outright killed a lot of the variety, especially in the mid, which already wasn't that much prevalent.
For me this was the worst change this update brought, but also the one that will most likely be removed hopefully.
