Think I messed up suspension settings again. Really friction (tire pressure) and some other stuff should be separated, it's just way too tedious to adjust even with each wheel marked.

Also thanks to packet loss (don't listen to music on youtube while hosting a server, kids) this thing is unplayable in multiplayer. I'll have to postpone my survival server globe trotting ride.
>>
>>149465580
This looks successful enough to me.
>>
>>149465663
Friction feels messed up, it's like the force is constant instead of proportional to the force pushing the wheel to the ground.
That said, I still love wheeled vehicles.
Do they still randomly lose wheels or did they fix it?

Occasionally yeah, but it's more to suspension travel being set incorrectly. Problems I'm having in multiplayer (160 ping + lag spikes) is it handles differently from my creative prototype, gyroscopes do nothing and you have to pretty much override downforce thrust to max to keep it pinned, otherwise you won't have time to hold down C in time. No matter your shock absorber rigidity you will be flipped if you hit a small bump in the ice at 500 km/h.

I'm the guy trying to make working tank steering, which I can do, but so far at the price of having any way of driving straight forwards.
If there was a way of making each rotator (the ones activating the engine sensors) have a certain input override the other, then I'd only need two and could go forwards by holding both left and right (i.e. how tank steering normally works in games like this).

Does anyone have a working sensor setup for this I can steal? I just wanted to attempt caterpillar tracks but this is distracting me right now.
>>
>>149467253
It'll probably need large grid for airtight doors or I'll just put a cockpit at the back where it can be easily entered.

I'll probably just plop down a cockpit hatch on the back side and fill up the interior with the powerplant stuff. May or may not bother with a working missile turret, I'll need that script which controls the rotors easily.

> JUST USE MORE CORES
You have no idea how fucking difficult it is to get get multithreading to work, particularly with something as complex and often black-boxed as physics. It's not as simple as telling the compiler to use multiple cores. You also have to deal with the fact that two things trying to access the same thing at once can result in all kinds of fuckery, so you have to use locks, mutexes, and all kinds of other shit to ensure one thread has exclusive access to the memory space in question. This effectively means that any thread that tries to access that same variable or whatever is paused until the thread that has exclusivity is done with it and releases the lock.

You might as well be saying, "JUST PUT THAT JET ENGINE IN MY VOLKSWAGEN, SHOULD BE EASY"

To anon who was asking if he should switch to Factorio 0.13. Singleplayer performance is fine, havent had a single crash so far.
Some of the most noticeable changes are actually not well explained in the changelog, possibly because i switched from .13 from .12.10:
>Oil pumps now can go to 0.0 oil/s. They still seem to produce a little, but much less than before.
>Biters now migrate often and they dont care about player structures anymore. The only way to stop biter expansion is through walls and turrets. I have seen biters set up nests right next to my power lines; they stay passive unless attacked or fed pollution.
>Oh, biters/spitters also come in green "Behemoth" size. Spitters are not a big deal, but biters are tough as fuck and can tank a lot of damage, letting spitters wreck shit. You need much stronger defences, and you need them on every border due to migrations.
>To counter those biters, flamethrower is now upgradeable and comes in turret form.... which needs to be supplied by liquid fuel through pipes.
>Even with flamethrower, biters take ages to kill, but you now just set them on fire and run around them while DoT effect takes them down.
>As of 13.10 the mapgen seems to be fine again. And in 0.13 you get richer resource deposits the further you go from start point. It only becomes noticeable at pretty long distances though.

>>149482860
>Do you have atmospheric drag mod?

>>

Umm, quite literally any toaster that can run the game will run a dedicated server. It's just offloading server side calculations to a separate executable so host lagging out doesn't affect everyone.

HELP SOME ANON IS GASSING ME

At what point, exactly? Near the bottom, it's taking copper to make into wire. At the top, it splits it to make up for the wire it took. It looks like one belt is full up until the weird loop you have.

drag mod is completely different from wing mod.
You can't lift a plane with just one wing anymore, but I think the forces are still applied on center of mass.
I'm using this one and I like it, but I don't recall what I set the multiplier (if you use speed mods you'll have to adjust it or you'll get too much drag and burn your vehicles).

http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=571920453

Setting the multiplier affects all the calculations, drag lift and heating.

I just discovered that wheels are capped at 360km/h even with high speed/rotation mods, I'm disappointed.

That hard?

biter difficulty changes as; time passes, biter bases get destroyed, or pollution is absorbed by the bases.
to check the difficulty:
/c game.local_player.print(game.evolution_factor)
Other In game commands: Biters ignore any player structures and will build right next to defensive walls. In other words, no victory poles. (units in chunks, default: 3):
game.map_settings.enemy_expansion.min_player_base_distance = -1
reduce the distance that bases can spawn next to each other (default: 3, lower than default = large attack groups that may bug out):
game.map_settings.enemy_expansion.min_base_spacing = 1
same as above, but maximum distance between an existing and new base (default 7)
game.map_settings.enemy_expansion.max_expansion_distance = 2
time in ticks that is the minimal amount of time that biters may try and make a new base (default 5 minutes, or 5*3600 ticks)
game.map_settings.enemy_expansion.min_expansion_cooldown = 1*3600
Similar to above, but limits the maximum time delay before making a new base (default: 60minutes, or 60*3600 ticks)
game.map_settings.enemy_expansion.min_expansion_cooldown = 5*3600

Man, one of these days someone needs to make a game where relativistic kill vehicles can sterilize a planet before landing your mining teams.

Then, when you're mining, your sentries start going offline, on by one. You run to the surface, and make a mad dash to your craft, but it's too late. You look up and gaze into the beautiful, blazing fireball blooming over the horizon, skin charring from its glow, shortly before the shockwave hits and vaporizes you and scatters your mining camp over several kilometers.

In theory you could simulate a 'heatwave blast' effect by applying the same effect as re-entry heating over a rapidly expanding area. The downside is anything modifying that much shit over that wide an area is going to be computationally expensive without FPGA/ASIC hardware acceleration.

Using distance^2, it's not too expensive, since you're not running sqrt to get the actual distance. The sorting operation would be "fun" though.

Yes, we do have proper logic gates.
And block sized programmable lua stuff.
And a whole bunch of other wonderful autism stuff.
Problem is mods these days work too well together and this kills the autism.
And an /egg/-esque pack was planned, but never got off the ground because one of the main guys couldn't do it anymore or something.

Imagine what a free for all mutiplayer server would look like. Different groups hiding in asteroids or constantly relocating. Buried deep underground or on extremely eccentric orbits around the sun, everything to stay hidden and staying mobile. Scouts being paid off to keep base whereabouts hidden. And then, when a base is discovered you load up some random debris. slap a rocket engine on the heap. And send it off.
Two weeks of constant acceleration later it is approaching a significant fraction of .c. The target sees nothing, the projectile has long since ceased thrusting and it is now a dark lump of rock emitting no heat, no radiation and no light. Even if their sensors could detect it, there'd be no time for point defense systems to even start to activate.
It smashes soundlessly into the asteroid, at the very center of the impact it instantly vaporizes several tonnes of rock, gravel and industrial machinery. If anyone could survive the temporary atmosphere of searing hot plasma and gas they'd hear nothing but the sound of a relativistic impact event.

Luckily the base was entirely robotic. The players controlling them remotely from tiny capsules tethered to the asteroid by kilometer long lengths of cable, spinning erratically to try and avoid instant annihilation from long range kinetic bombardment.

They detach at the right moment and are flung to another asteroid, further away.
I imagine the planets would be charred wastelands of mud, fire and craters.

The Outer Gods, like Azathoth and Yog-Sathoth, not Old Ones like C'thulhu. He's often depicted as their "messenger, heart and soul."

As it is, though, he enjoys meddling in the affairs of man, while Yog-Sathoth often doesn't care for mortal concerns, and Azathoth is wholly oblivious to the universe he gives birth to.

>And it was then that Nyarlathotep came out of Egypt. Who he was, none could tell, but he was of the old native blood and looked like a Pharaoh. Into the lands of civilisation came Nyarlathotep, swarthy, slender, and sinister, always buying strange instruments of glass and metal and combining them into instruments yet stranger. He spoke much of the sciences – of electricity and psychology –and gave exhibitions of power which sent his spectators away speechless, yet which swelled his fame to exceeding magnitude. Men advised one another to see Nyarlathotep, and shuddered. And where Nyarlathotep went, rest vanished; for the small hours were rent with the screams of a nightmare.

CLANG is most certainly one of Nyarlathotep's countless forms.

why would you put saws on an airplane? it would look like shit and you couldn't control the velocity of the plane since you can't control saws like you can wheels.

also those fucking braces are glitched for some reason. they constantly fall off for no good reason and clip through the ground.

bracing the propellers slows down the rotation too

>You'd need a 1200% efficiency refinery to even process it all, and why?
Last time I checked, effectiveness modules didn't affect a refinery's rate of ore consumption.

While a TBM is hardly elaborate, it is indeed overkill to build it as a large ship.
Not only is it massively expensive, but a single run could likely supply an entire server for days.
Of course, with more restrictive cargo settings, you'll also need an obscene amount of containers - possibly even arc furnaces to "compress" the iron.

That being said, there are always uses for excess iron.

Effectiveness module gives you more ingots for your ore, productivity modules affect power consumption and speed. I meant 1200% productivity refinery, which will take 2 refineries with 6 productivity modules joined together.

There are two batteries below, I wasn't going to check the solar capability as much as if I could actually clang into the sky.
My idea tho was some sort of drone that would not need to stop, running on solar (panels are alaways working if you're far enough from the ground, even at night).
>>
>>149573734
well if you need to have as much bang for your weight as you can possibly get, couple small reactors will give you 1000 kilowatts for about 300 kilograms dry weight and consume uranium very slowly. For comparison 1 big solar panel nets you 10 kilowatts of thereabouts

What is it with FtD's aerodynamics? Almost every jet (especially among the Steel Striders) flies at the speed of fuck and overcompensates when trying to fly level, resulting in a sinusoidal flight path. It almost makes sense for shit like the Flying Squirrel, but a Cinder?

Related to the above, what's the best way to get a nice intelligence photo/screenshot of a drone? The tactical view can't keep up with them, and freelook doesn't follow them like it does manned ships.

eh, problem is that modless (excluding rotational speed mod and rotor torque mod) this wouldn't, because keen's blocks are all thicc and weight a ton and the rotors wouldn't have enough torque to hold the propellers or to spin fast enough to generate enough force. Maybe on big ships would, since there is some difference in how much the blocks weight.
If you add mods, you don't really need to care for weight because carbon blocks are 1/4 of a light armor block.
If I didn't want it to look a little less shitty, I could have used carbon for the wings too, panels weight as much as a normal block anyway.

I wonder if this would work with non-rotor propellers.

By the way, pic related shows the power consumption with batteries turned off, so only solar.
>>
>>149575018
I messed up the first part, I meant only excluding the rotational speed mod, because that is absolutely needed to obtain enough speed, and obviously the aerodynamics mods, which is what makes this all work.
>>
>>149574513
>Related to the above, what's the best way to get a nice intelligence photo/screenshot of a drone? The tactical view can't keep up with them, and freelook doesn't follow them like it does manned ships.

>>
>>149575018
>non-rotor propellers
nop, they don't work.
I think it's because the aerodynamics script don't generate lift based on the shape of the blocks, it only uses that to calculate how much air resistance it has.
Lift is generated by the whole grid being rotated against the direction of movement (which is what my blades do), if I recall correctly.
Or maybe I just have some options disabled and I don't know it. Or keen broke something again.

I want to make a list of every game /egg/ has tried and how those games have come along, and the exact moment when it died
Space Engineers - first death when ced's server went offline. Completely died when server-side movement was implemented. Fucking Keen

Starmade - died when people realized there's nothing to fight

Scrap Mechanics - looked promising at first but the development has been slow. Game died a week after release but maybe it will uncuck itself

FTD - once-amazing game is now going down the toilet thanks to the dev. RIP

Empyrion - Started as a shit spengies clone but the devs are active and it's better than spengies in some areas, though thats a pretty low bar.

Avorion - it's not even out yet

MAV - DOA. Picture-in-picture causes frame drops to 30. Seriously who the fuck thought that was a good idea

Besiege - died after the hype died down and no new content was released fast enough

pls add more games and how they died if you think of anything

From what I've seen FtD was going fine until the developer made a questionable change to the resource system, binding everything under one resource "material".
The problem wasn't that so much as the developer, Nick, acting extremely defensive about it when people asked why exactly it was simplified.

The general gist I got from his posts screenshotted here was "You better accept my decision or you won't like what I do next."
Essentially, he's acting like an egocentric manchild right now and I hope he gets his act in gear because honestly, the game looks very interesting, but I'm not purchasing anything made by a developer that can't even give a straight answer as to why he made such a dramatic change.
>>
>>149615937
He did explain it, somewhere in a 42 page thread that he won't bother to direct you to.
>>
>>149607439
That's in 2d, it would fall over immediately. They're designed to have three pairs SIDE BY SIDE, not as a four legged system.

>>
>>149616664
>http://www.fromthedepthsgame.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=22198

1. >muh burden of knowledge.

2. Harder to evaluate the value of vehicles and compare them because they use different resources, completely ignoring the fact that you can base values and efficiency of vehicles off of resource availability. That's basic fucking economics.

3. New system allows for forced expansion and allows players to starve others out. Reasonable, but wouldn't the old resource system be better for it?

4. What the fuck kind of reason is that.

5. Red herring.

6. >Everyone should be able to get what they want instead of having to build based on what they have! :)

7. See 9-10.

8. I don't see why it was so hard to evaluate if you had the resources to build a vehicle in the old system. Transportation issue is reasonable, though.

9-10. >It gives me less of a headache.

11. It didn't work out as intended when created. If that's the truth, fair enough.

tl;dr only one or two reasons stated are actually worth a shit, the rest are either the same thing essentially or obvious excuses. Feel free to add or correct anything.
>>
>>149616664
Those are some piss-poor explanations.

Every other resource-based game does just dandy at having multiple resources, he sites that it makes it easier on the UI, but the UI is what causes the problem, it's just an eyesore.

He sites that two different resources can not be compared, but they obviously can, you just need to look at scarcity/demand

He sites variable resource rates as if it was undoable with other resouces.

He ignores the question with one of his points

Most of this looks like he's just lazy.
>>
Talked to Nick today, we will not be making the resource system moddable.

I may work on it in my free time, though.
>>
>>149619004
Gay as fuck. With the current system there is literally no fucking reason ever for oil to exist anywhere but on the ship it was produced on for internal use.

>>149619487

While I doubt that the resource change means FtD's death, it's an obvious glimpse at either Nick's laziness or his exhaustion, and is a dangerous direction for a game like FtD to go, especially if he continues the trend of simplifying things.

As far as I know quantum physics doesn't apply to macroscopic world except for out-of-scale super massive objects like gravitational singularities where space-time curvature is fucked up. >>
>>149664030
alcubierre drive is hypothetically possible, as for if we will ever construct one that's fifty-fifty

there's an interesting problem with the warp drives however. either travelling faster than the speed of light causes you to go backwards in time, which would either be an impossibility because of the ontological paradox or lead you into different universes, or travelling faster than light is simply impossible because rather than bending space to travel faster than light, you'd just be bending time to move faster around you instead. people would be able to see you stuck in time but moving away at infinitely close to C velocity

Not it just shows that those things can be scaled upwards. It doesn't change the fact that quantum world is another thing entirely. If they "countered" that there would be no classical and quantum physics. Just physics. It's some steps towards uniting but just small steps unfortunately

Question: assuming there are two planet called A and B, both formed and evolved at the same time and rate and are about 500 light years apart.

Planet A point a telescope at B, sees them at the Industrial Revolution (due to seeing them 500 years in the past), B does the same and sees A at the Industrial Revolution

Enter a ship capable of FTL, let's assume it can go instantaneously from A to B and back.
The astronaut is in A orbit, looks at B and sees the Industrial Revolution, start the engine and is flung to B in a negligible amount of time.

Once there sees that B has the same tech level as A, looks back at A and sees the Industrial Revolution (because light is taking 500 years to travel the distance between A and B), he then hit the switch again and is back at A.

For those on A they see:
Ship depart
Ship return
Ship appears and disappears at a modern B 500 years later

Those on B they see:
Ship arrive
Ship leaves
Ship depart and return to a modern A 500 years later

If going FTL causes you to time travel then why the astronaut doesn't arrive to a Industrial Age B but to a Modern B?

Don't quite understand.
If A sees B at the Industrial Age because it sees the light that B is emitting 500 years ago (and thus there is a lag) why wouldn't something that moves instantly from one point to the next end up seeing a modern B when it gets there?

How? If anything FTL would be traveling into the future as perceived by your point of origin. Your destination would see you as from the future, but only in reference to your perceived origin.

You're basing your thoughts on the faulty concept that what you perceive in the distance is an accurate representation of what is occuring.

If i go at twice the speed of light i'm going back in time at the same "speed" as i would be if i was going forward in time by sitting in my own chair? (Meaning that if i wanted to go back 5 years in time i'd have to travel for 5 years).

And a instant travel? Wouldn't you go infinitely fast back in time (and thus technically, never arrive at all)?
>>
>>149674745
You're still talking as though the object is accelerating past C though. I'll grant that that can't happen.

But FTL travel isn't specifically accelerating past C, it's simply getting from A to B faster than light would.

>Can't quite understand the reason *why* this happens but this raises another question.
C is always constant from any frame of reference. It's just a thing.
It's you relative to other people. Simply moving is time travel. It's only noticeable once you get close to C, so it isn't a problem. Once you go "faster" than their C other people your C is "faster" than theirs so time has to go backwards.
From your frame of reference time passes normally, like it does when you move "faster" in time by getting closer to C, or you go insane. Not sure.
>If i go at twice the speed of light i'm going back in time at the same "speed" as i would be if i was going forward in time by sitting in my own chair? (Meaning that if i wanted to go back 5 years in time i'd have to travel for 5 years).
Not too sure, I think there's a formula for how much time and space distort to keep C a constant.
>And a instant travel? Wouldn't you go infinitely fast back in time (and thus technically, never arrive at all)?
Instant travel by some sort of point to point teleportation?
No. Maybe.
Instant travel by theoretically increasing your velocity to infinity so you arrive from point a to point b instantaneously and still cover the distance between them with no shortcuts which is in no realm plausible?
Yes. Sort of. Maybe. Perhaps. Possibly.

Perhaps an example explaining it with frames of reference is better.
Say you have 3 people, and two deloreans.
One person is in each delorean. The other guy is standing still.
One delorean is going 88 mph.
The other 44 mph.
To the guy standing still, they're going 44 and 88 mph respectively.
To the guy in the one going 44 mph, the guy standing still is going -44 mph, and the guy in front of him is going 44 mph, and he's standing still.
To the guy in the one going 88 mph, the guy standing still is going -88 mph, and the guy behind him is going -44 mph, and he's standing still.

The speed of light is always 6.706e+8.
No matter if you're standing still or going 88 mph, or 1000000 mph. Your frame of reference has no effect on it.
This is because time and space distort to make it constant.
Not really sure how to articulate the spacial distortions right now, but they aren't important.

"Your" timeframe gets slower and slower as you approach the speed of light relative to the location you started from.
So to other people you would be move slower and slower, while they'd be moving faster and faster to you.
Once you cross C, "your" timeframe relative to theirs would be negative to compensate. I think the faster past C you go time starts flowing faster backwards. Not sure. And I have no idea how that'd be perceived, but you'd basically be going so "slow" in time you're going backwards.
>>
>>149677357
Wait, if i'm going near c then i see other people going fast? Then if i'm at c then i would pretty much see all the time going in the blink of a eye (insert "i can see forever joke" at your leisure)?

If by any means one manage to reach c and then stop, where in time would he end up?
And if he went faster he would go back in time so others would see him "rewind" (or just disappear but before he went FTL you saw images of the guy going around only to meet at the same point in time where the guy reached c?) but C-guy perception is gone from "indistinct blur of time" to "time is going so fast forward is going backwards"

This makes no sense to me.
>>
>>149678224
>Wait, if i'm going near c then i see other people going fast?
Yes, because your time is moving slower than theirs.
>Then if i'm at c then i would pretty much see all the time going in the blink of a eye (insert "i can see forever joke" at your leisure)?
>If by any means one manage to reach c and then stop, where in time would he end up?
That's part of the big picture, there is no "stop". There's stopping relative to earth, but earth itself is moving.

Look, I'm tired as hell and this is a bit of a hard to explain concept that I don't have as good of an understanding as I would like to have.

Alright I'm confused.

Let's say all planets are fixed into a point, 0 speed.
Let's say I hitch a ride into a spacecraft that can accelerate instantly into lightspeed, and travels from Earth to the planet "Beeh"
I'm positioned at the back, the Engines. At the front of the ship is the Bridge.

Right as the journey begins and we part from Earth I start running away from the Engines at, say, 5m/s, and end up at the Bridge right as we reach Beeh.

Logic dictates that, during this journey, my speed was c + 5m/s.
Science dictates the above is false, and spacetime morphed to accomodate my paradox. Am I on the right track?

If so, what did I see as I ran?
What did the crew and the captain see as I burst into the bridge?

There's also a magical ayylmao with xray powers at planet Cee, which makes an equilaterus with Beeh and Earth. What does the ayylmao see if he compares me against the ship itself?

because you were travelling at such a high speed together with the ship, the relative speed increase you got by walking at your relative 5m/s wasn't actually 5m/s to others because in the equation that makes your speed is time, and time is stretching the faster you go so you never get to C.

not sure exactly how to explain it

everything in the ship works as normal

the ayys both on beeh and the third point see you moving at ridiculously close to C towards beeh, given that they do not move relative to eachother

if an ayy leaves beeh towards earth at the same speed as you, he would see you travelling towards them at even more ridiculously close to C, but still not C

the interesting thing is however, if an ayy on beeh turns his magic goggles off and uses his light receptors to try and spot you, he sees you for only a portion of the time it took for you to travel before you arrive, and during that time the relative time you on the ship were spending looked similar to the amount of time he was spending on beeh even though he might not have been born when you started travelling.

think of it like doppler effect. in this example the car represents the ship, what you see of the car is what you would see of the ship with goggles, and what you hear from the car is what you would see of the ship without goggles. the car is moving towards you but the sound you receive is squished together and you only hear the squished sound for a portion of the time it took for the car to reach you because the source is travelling alongside the sound. the guy sitting in the car heard the sounds coming out of the engine like normal. if the car moves at half the speed of sound and reaches you at time 3 seconds, the sound will reach you at 3 / 2 = 1,5 seconds and you only hear 1,5 total seconds of squished engine sounds but the driver heard the full 3 seconds of normal engine sounds.

i don't know how to simplify it more

also in the example with the ship, the ayy without goggles would see the ship in a purple-ish to ultraviolet hue because of the doppler effect squishing the light waves, similar to how the engine sound of an approaching car gets higher in pitch
>>
>>149690587
>like the doppler effect

This got me thinking.
Assuming a homogeneous medium, could a race of creatures incapable of seeing light/electromagnetic radiation/photons reach the same conclusions as Einstein did only that instead of the speed of light their "maximum speed at which stuff may ever go" is the speed of sound in the medium? Or would they eventually reach the same conclusion of light speed=max speed even if they cannot perceive light?

I.e. Is there a minute possibility of a particle perfectly capable of going faster than light and we just cannot perceive it (and thus base our max speed on the fastest thing we can perceive) or is the theory of special/general relativity just "too strong"?

You think about what they see and hear. You should first think if they perceive and think like us. And if there are huge diferences in philosophy due to language I can't imagine what and how other species would think. Read Stanislaw Lem stories if you want some of that. Eden is a nice start.
>Too strong
What? Theories are just models to explain things. Apollo was once a theory of how the sun worked. It took some time but we proved it was not quite so right. If something disproves it then it's disproved. Really wtf america this should be philosophy/physics 101
>>
>>149691327
its hard to know how they would even perceive sounds and distances when they only have "hearing" to go by. i think it's safe to assume they would eventually come across the realization of the doppler effect, and then do research on the speed of sound, but whether they would assume that's the absolute maximum velocity anything can travel would depend on the medium. sound travels relatively slowly through air compared to some of the metal dildos humanity has sent flying, but in a thicker goopy atmosphere or in a liquid environment sound would likely travel faster and further, and so it would maybe take a while for the creatures to actually realize that there is infact a speed of sound, although they would likely be perfectly aware of the doppler effect. the fact that they don't have a reference frame like light to compare with the sound would obviously mean that they would have to come across it by chance

for example, one creature is standing on a hill far away and has asked the other to pull a rope when he yells. he yells, but the pulling of the rope comes a while after he has yelled. he asks the other creature why he didn't pull right away, and the other creature says he pulled the very instant he heard the yell -> oh shit there's speed of sound

the atmosphere bends the lingt, the light from the entire torus focuses in one point because of the round atmoshpere and even when the erath rotates you can only see the point this is why the moon has a "dark side" because it doesn't change locations.. you have the light bending from the space station too because its still in the atmosphere!

Piston connections wobbled a bit when activating the rotors to move a 75blocks rod up to connect to the other, but nothing too serious, I believe it can all be achieved except the landing gear part.

build nickel processing that can just take in all the nickel-ore storage the acid for batterys long term the nickel for now (or destroy it) loop it with a splitter so you dont get stuck

I'm not saying it shouldn't be there. I'm just explaining a reasoning as to why the anon had an issue with textures.

It failed because of said reasons, everyhing was too heavy, but the sky idea is not that bad, the thing is you need to increase the clang level and involve pistons to move all the joints.
And keen put htier X element and fucked my save.
Have this instead

As far as i can see, you gave it 6 wheels like it should, i dont understand why they couldn't do it.
The rear end its a clone of the plow truck.
I really thought it was 6 wheels like the art.
I did this wrong and as a base, got stuck everywhere.

I gave up watching TV after this. My mother is a historian so ugh. I only pay cable because in the third world they force you to buy cable, tv and phone to get internet. (If you get only internet it's more "expensive" than the 4 toguether

Should've went for large grid as well, but I wanted to keep it the size of a medium APC as suppressor is. I'll try to move the cockpit at the back of it a bit lower so I can shave off couple blocks from the top.
