Blanc's game is a refined version of Neptunia U. The clothing damage is gone (it is fucking annoying to have clothes rip in the middle of a battle and break your combo. Even Senran Kagura has a toggle now.)
Regular special attacks now charge quickly and can be used more frequently
The EX attacks have to charge for more damage
Weapons are customizable, same with the characters.
There are raid bosses that even at LV 99 take some time to take down.

The main story is kinda silly but that's a Neptunia side game for you.

I just bought it on that sale a couple weeks ago so I haven't played it much. I'm liking it more than Nep U so far both gameplay and story wise.
Customization is really nice. You can put points from level ups into HP, Defense, Attack, or Combo in improve combos. You have 5 accessory slots that you can place on arms, shoulder, ankle, thigh, hand, etc and can adjust with x, y and z values to put it pretty much anywhere and can adjust size in x, y and z too.
Don't really have much else to say since I haven't put much time in and have still yet to try out online. Since you thought that Nep U was pretty mediocre I'd say it's probably best to wait for the next sale on it.

There is sort of a flavor for both Avalon and Grim, depending on which one you prefer. Beast Fang's looks really flashy due to elemental effects.

One of the things I hate about soul sacrifice is how the alice maze was created only for some type of offerings.

Its the perfect arena where you can battle archdemons over and over again, but the limited offering durability will stop most builds from diving too deep.

Well, the reading is obviously a bit less dense than prose (except maybe during those long-winded scientific expositions). Still, I think it usually takes 30 hours or so for the plat so that's certainly long enough to read that much.

You have to get a high level quest with lizardman.

Either in one of the normal pacts or if you are lucky enough to get a very hard lizardman quest in the blank pages.

The trick I used to kill high level companions like sympatha/magusar is to enter the quest with the high affinity npc I want to sacrifice and a low level affinity npc, stay away from the fight and watch, the lizardmans will instantly rape the low level guy and magusar/symphata will try to revive him over and over, a minute or two of this and Magusar/symphata will die, and you can easily sacrifice both.

Just be careful and dont get killed by all the surviving lizardmans.

There's a couple control schemes in the menu you can switch around.
If that isn't enough then you can go to the settings skittle under accessibility, then enable custom controls, then you can swap the square button with either R or L.
You can also put a quick check mark setting on your quick menu to enable or disable the custom controls so it's fast and easy too.

EU PSN in general just sucks when it comes to software availability. So many games that aren't available in certain countries, especially in Nordic ones. Disgaea 3 used to be one of those games, thank god they fixed at least that. And the fact that it had a physical release also helped.

School Mode was awesome in both games, I really enjoyed them both for the character interactions alone. Didn't have to play through the whole game alone just to see all the character events. And the basic gameplay of it was just satisfying. And the ending was worth it.
