His story is a lot more different compared to the average trans person's one. In this case his parents were Swedish and both were both rather infatuated with the "SJW" ideology. So much so that even though he was born a girl they gave him HRT at a very young age without any of his consent, effectively forcing him to develop as a male. Because of this he was never able to grow up as a girl and was forced to like and do masculine things. He became a cop to eventually arrest his parents and get rid of criminals like them.

Sometimes I want to back to Sims 3 but when I do I truly understand how poorly optimized the game was. Did have lots of fun with all these twinkies, though. Did you know if you get caught cheating, your reputation goes down to Slimeball and your sim automatically will try to get in other sims' pants, even when they're not single?

My story with the blonde is that he got that scar from a witch when she caught him with her husband. Didn't stop him from sleeping around and ruining families and relationships. In college he got with professors, students, mascots, aliens, plantsims... I guess he's very insecure, never having been romantically kissed or in an actual relationship.
He eventually fell inlove with freckles there in the last semester of college and brought him back home but there was so much stigma and negativity around him that he ended up having to move from Moonlight Falls to Apaloosa plains where they got a dog and two cats and lived happily ever after, the end.

I just downloaded the base game of Sims 4 and Get To Work.

No clue on how expansions work, should I play the base game first or is everything integrated already? Will I be missing out on the fresh gameplay if I just start playing on Get To Work immediately?

That's the weird part... "Take Photo With" works perfectly fine oddly enough which got me wondering.

I decided to muck around with it more with a new game and the bug isn't there at all...

After finding out new saves weren't affected, I tried my older saves aaand they're all fucked like my current one is, subject won't look at the camera in certain poses.

So I'm guessing this is a save issue and that I'm stuck with having to start a new game...

All expansions literally 'expand' the main game. Its not like an expansion that you only play after the main game or anything. Really, if you're new to the game, with everything installed, you almost shouldn't be able to see where certain content is from an expansion, or the base game, or a stuff pack. Every new DLC is just making the base game bigger and more interesting.

Packs are designed to work seamlessly with eachother. Just play the game as if you didn't know there were separate expansions and you'll be fine. Its all just expanding on the life-sim aspect of the game is all, and life isn't separated into this or that. Its all one thing. Thats kinda how this game works, with its extra content.

Is anyone aware of any Create-A-Sim mods that do the following... ?

A) Retain facial and body structure across genders. I.E. retains male masculine settings while switching over to female masculine settings and vice versa.
B) Gives all sims one solid stance. It is annoying when you create a sim and a male stands differently than females do.

Well I don't just wanna play with porn. I was primarily after the story mods since it's been years since I played 3. Didn't have porn mods last time I played so I threw that on the pile to check it out. Much like there were a few expansions I hadn't looked at yet.

Pretty sure it's mainly the story mods gumming everything up. The fairly long load is annoying but tolerable, but the story mods are constantly grinding in the background which slows the gameplay down. Unfortunately they're also the biggest draw to me. IIRC I could gut the Nraas and move to Awesomemod which is still better than vanilla and less of a pig, but it also doesn't do as much.

So what do y'all hate most about sims 3 and 4? What do you like about them?
Sims 3 was awesome because there really was no shortage of content. It actually felt like EA spoiled us.
... But then got tired of spoiling us when got too old and gave us poorly optimized end game content while pouring all their focus in 4.

4 has less lag, less content, no toddlers (but who actually misses those things?) but looks a lot nicer. I don't think I really miss the sims being open world because it took forever to boot the game.

I think it contributes to story building. I've never actually change the masculine/feminine structure but I did change the pee/pregnancy settings for my mtf sim, Dylan.

The gender settings is what gives the sims their pronouns and presentation (just he'him'his and she/her/hers). These additional settings are pretty self-explanatory.
