Though I do hope we get an explanation soon about Wisp. He has no amiibo figurine or card and as far I thought we knew, wasn't even programmed into the game? I don't remember seeing him in any of the image dumps / the villager cell layer tile sheets.

Can I use a filthy save editor to change the town layout? The random placement of pretty much EVERYTHING makes it fucking impossible, and pwp being random make it more difficult to get cool stuff.
I always wanted a spooky town at night that looked high-class by day.

Regardless, themed towns are better than generic "my town has no theme, it just exists". There are plenty of those on the Dream Suite that should just be purged and forgotten. But also, try to be original and don't go looking for inspiration. Because that almost always leads to imitation. The over-abundance of Spring and Horror themes is probably attributed to tumblr for the former, and reddit/youtube for the latter. Both have given massive platforms for showcasing these as the ideal themes to imitate. And nearly everyone has one or the other, that doesn't have a generic/theme-less town. So if you do plan on using a Horror theme, do it from scratch, using your own ideas. If you lack creativity/imagination, then you probably shouldn't do a themed town.

But that's not to say you cannot use pre-existing patterns. Just try to Google search in foreign languages (particularly Japanese and French) to look for patterns that probably not many people have seen. Just going to tumblr and typing "horror pattern" will give you a blog with patterns with thousands of notes, that have already been re-posted over the last 3-4 years from dozens of previous posts, of which probably tens of thousands have also already seen.There's enough foreign language blogs out there that maybe only a dozen or less have seen, that have decent patterns. And of course, having the patience to make patterns yourself is a plus!

I have actually successfully gotten Four pictures of village sweetheart Freya. I have two on display in my house, one in the house of a second character I made, one in my closet, and the last one I keep in my pocket.
