I have been adding and deleting and readding and removing alot of mods in a save file and when I want to put a mod it corrupts the world on the level.dat is being used but only if I have this mod on and only in that save.
How do I clean it so it can let me use it again?

We need more mid-range power options instead of going from dynamos to a diesel generator or mek reactor.

I guess it's a nice midrange power option. Along with being able to make my good old power cubes thanks to Immersive Engineering.

Though you gotta wonder how Transvector Interfaces would work with thermoelectric generators, if you can stack more than 6 blocks on it.

Yeah, you can get free RF with just that and a TE Magmatic Dynamo. I think the problem is more with lava-based power generation.

A mere 50% more power. They give you extra faces to extract RF so you can put hot/cold stuff on all six sides, but they can't add more places to put that stuff. Still worth it for a more compact build that makes better use of the hot/cold stuff.

Got Thaum, Immersive Engineering, and Galacticraft; + the basics like Optifine, NEI, Fastcraft

what else should I add for comfy, and what are the actually good addons for Thaum, theres alot of them

Depends on how I'm playing that world. I usually try to separate mods into their own rooms/buildings. So I'll have a "Electronics laboratory" often made with chisels laboratory blocks to look like a clean room for AE or a Immersive Engineering workshop.

Prohaps I should clarify a bit. I generally have separate buildings/rooms for those mods and that building/room is where I keep the mods' crafting components and extra stuff.

I usually end up going for a longhouse-style/loft type of home.
Pic related, the main area usually has a firepit/place along with decorations and various stuff (e.g. map wall/weapon rack/shelves/etc.) then connected to that is a loft bedroom with sometimes a chest with special things (enchantment books, name tags, etc.) and below the bedroom is a crafting room with a workbench, potion setup/furnaces/storage drawers/etc.

For bulk storage, I usually create a warehouse nearby.
In this case I have a 2 floor warehouse located in the village at the bottom of the hill

Finally, the inside of the vault.

The neat thing is, it's been scripted so that players may actually rob it. Upon shooting any of the guards or tellers behind the glass, a "Fake Game Master" will use "/tell" to inform you of officers being spawned while it spawns bots to open/loot the vault for you.
The difficulty level is probably Deathwish in Payday 2.

I upgraded to SEUS 11.0 today.
I'm at about 6 fps if I run 4x shadow and 2x render (as seen in pic), and can only start actually playing the game at 0.25x shadow and 1x render.

It wasn't like this in the far less intensive SEUS 10.2 and it's because I can't disable all the stuff I don't want.

What shader has top tier liquids, animation support, and specmaps like SEUS but lets me turn off bloom and reflections?

I like balkons, it has flintlock guns like muskets, pistols and blunderbluss that try to be way too realistic and have an accuracy of ass.
Theres a crossbow that saccrifices accuracy for range and speed and also some low range throwables.

GVC GunsPlus for normality, the guns are all based on actual guns and have extremely simple models that are by no means overdesigned. Pic related, its a useless bunny holding one of the guns, and a meido holding another.

Heavy Signalum has a few ranged weapons, one spawns lightning several dozen times wherever a projectile hits, another goes in a straight line until it hits a block, and pins every mobs in its path to that wall until the mob is dead, and the third one is a Gatling gun that uses signalum nuggets at a rate of 16 nuggets per second, destroys blocks that are in the line of fire as fast as an efficiency 5 tool, and each hit deals 1 heart of damage, and quadruples with each hit against the entity indefinitely. You hit something with a single shot, they are marked at 1 half-heart, you can come back to them whenever you want, shoot them again, and a single hit hits 4 half-hearts, every hit quadruples from the last.

Do you know what that means? in the span of 1 second, a full 16 shots from one second will go from half a heart of damage, to a whopping 536,870,912 hearts of damage. with a quarter stack of signalum nuggets, and doesn't really cap as far as I can tell. Fuck draconic evolution and you're bullshit armor, come at me bro.

1.7.10 is like that one movie you go to the budget cinema to watch again and again. It's a good and timeless film, with many others before it (1.6.4, 1.2.3) but you don't mind seeing it again.

1.8 is that movie that just from the trailer you got sick to your stomach. Nothing's done right, the actors get outperformed by High School Drama Clubs, and the special effects are ripped right from the 1980's. But you have to remember that for some reason they took all the equipment that worked previously and "upgraded" it, and people just don't know how to operate it. Hell, it took them almost a year to get this film out from the upgrade.

1.9 and 1.10 are basically the same film, just different formats. Not quite as good, but you can see it starting to get refined again. Not quite as good as the timeless classic, but you can see it starting to bud.

Give it either about a year or so for modders to catch up and push some good content in 1.9/1.10, or the game will just push over to the Win10 version and everything will die.

Having done reduced stack sizes on my SP worlds a few times, it definitely makes you more inventory aware. If you want to make minecarts the "best viable option", you'll also need to remove things like backpacks, any portable/extended inventories or storage and ender shit - otherwise you'll just take the path of least effort. Or, you have to be really strict with self-imposed rules.

It's been bugging me for a while, I used to have real fun setting up power systems for your standard machine mods. Now it's the thing that I dread most, it's just so boring but I couldn't figure out what changed.
Then I realized, everything works together too easily now. Feed one block charcoal and you're fine for everything.
The last time I had fun with a power system I was using a Red Power farm to feed a bunch of low power, but essentially free, forestry engines. Then using that forestry power to melt down cobblestone into lava, at a loss but it was free, to power my IC2 machines.

I also really miss, what I remember about, Red Power. It didn't do much by itself but it gave you the tools to do to build some amazing things.

No, no, it means that with modern mods you usually just do one type of thing with one type of mods, there isn't any intermod synergy like redpower, IC2, EE2, BC, and the others had/have.
Back in the old days, BC was the only one with a good mass mining system.
IC2 was the only one that did ore processing right.
Redpower/logipipes were the only way to make a good sorting system.
EE2 let you further process and refine things.
One mod can do everything easily these days.

Started carving out a new floor under my base for a few mob grinding and like 5 bats just spawned right in my face.

This is a serious "If you give a mouse a cookie" moment for me because all of this started with me wanting to automate bookcase production.

I actually quit minecraft for a bit after I found out that industrialcraft changed it's recipes to be all retarded and complicated. I think that was around the 1.6 update.
Playing Gregtech on multiplayer was bearable since it was a pissing contest anyways, but IC2 changing base recipes was a step to far, fuck that.

Greg did provide some code for IC2, probably introducing the Rolling Machines and what-not to make the mod more microcrafty. Though at the same time, using 3 bars of copper to make 6 wires seemed a little too magical, so it would make sense to have some way to make it seem like you were getting a better value for your materials. I think that the resource requirements are a little lower, though there are more steps.

I'm working on a series of small ship and naval builds atm. Trying to keep them medium in size and simple in shape.

- Fishing boat
- Merchant ship (picture)
- Cargogo barge
- Battleship
- A floating platform of some sorts...

You always need a cutter (pilot ship).

mast is tall and located in the rear third, multiple, large headsails.

The purpose of the cutter is to act as a fast ship that races from the docks to outside the bay to meet larger ships. They then transfer the pilot and customs official to the merchant ship. The pilot takes the ship to dock safely through the channel, because he knows the waterway.

I wanted, I like vanilla experience, but too many players there and 1 player render area of 7x7 chunks, and anti cheating plugs so not really vanilla.
Could not even pearl/boat/cart on nether roof.
Not to mention duplicated dragon eggs got removed and that is as regular dupe as sand.
And dragon eggs are best for bedrock removal.
So this server is not as vanilla as I would like.
Do you know some other real vanilla?

well I don't have to deal with building tunnels for fast travelling, and there would be no tunnel at all saying in what direction my base is, and you can put horses on top of nether roof and get on 1mil block in 2h using horse+roof no problems.
Not to mention machines, farms and bases.

Anyway you can not get on nether roof to begin with.
And easiest way of breaking bedrock is dragon egg.
And the easiest way of duplicating drago egg is dropping it from 20+ blocks in to end portal.
Other option is hopper duplication.
Another is end portal item teleportation pulling.
As for bedrock you could use TNT and blown piston head method, but not sure with 2B2T as TPS is shit, and this server also does seem to have quite few plugins...
