Ok, so Crow is by far the best trapper.
His stasis is great, arguably one of the best slows in the game. Griffin's might be better depending on the situation, but the main thing that makes him great is his kinetic long rifle.
I have been in teams with shit assaults that couldn't even get the monster's armor down, but still won by staying on the monster the entire game and slowly whittling down it's health THROUGH it's armor.
He is unbelievably annoying for the monster if you stick on him and keep plinking away at his health, I've pissed monsters off so much that they've stopped running to turn and try to smack me around, but of course this just leads to them getting domed, and getting dead.

I'd say Crow is better than Abe.
His slow is literally Abe's, but instead of being an area affect the monster can just traversal away from, it's a gun that applies the affect to the monster for a set duration.
And again his armor penetration is just crazy. I've had stage 1 domes drop due to monster health damage, while the monster still has armor. And when the armor does go down he can deal massive damage with full auto fire, and all while at a safe range. The scope on his rifle can also be helpful when tracking the monster. Everything about him is great in the patch. He's ridiculously effective.

I'm not impressed by crow honestly.
He has no hard CC like Griffin or even Maggie, his soft CC has a travel time, lasts for less than, and slows less than Abes grenade, and travels in a straight line meaning you can't use the grenades AOE to get the monster around corners.
The Batray has terrible range and even if Gobbi spots the monster, it appears as a green outline for only a few seconds before fading.

The worst part about Crow though, is the fact that his kinetic long rifle defeats itself and works AGAINST current mechanics.

Every time the monsters health is damaged in any way, a minute is taken off the dome timer, regardless of how much damage it is. There is a short timer between this, I think its like, 10 seconds or so.

This means whenever you bypass armor to deal a piss-ant 100 damage, your team has a minute less to fight the monster. Then another minute on your next shot, and so on, until the dome falls, and the monster fucks off without having lost even half his armor, and you've done MAYBE a third of a single health bar. Then he goes and eats and evolves.
Kala has the same problem. Disables armor, timer fucks down, armor comes back, domes down he fucks off to eat with almost no real damage taken.

If they changed it so damage done to the monsters health didn't decrease the dome timer while the monster still had armor, THEN I'd be impressed by Crow.

You get a bad trapper and the monster will never be slowed and will just unleash hell upon your team. With slim you have to stay up the monsters ass most of the time and you have to land your shots consistently.
If you are not landing every shot, if you are too far away, you wont heal fast enough to keep somebody alive.
Drone heal only somebody who is disengaged from the combat, or to pick somebody up, or while your shotgun is reloading.
Spore cloud constantly if you have quick switch the time it takes to fire 1 spore is the time your shotgun needs to reload.
On the other hand if you are getting focused hard, it's about hitting shotgun shots constantly so you can heal, while dodging the most damaging skills form the monster and general slipperiness While shooting it.

Reload perks are solid, as is quick switch + jetpack perks. It's up to you what you use, but generally the key thing is that your gun should be up the monsters ass as soon as he dares to focus somebody other than you.

Also bind the burst heal to some button that you can spam with ease, WHILE shooting accurately and WHILE having full control of your mobility with jetpacks and dodges.

Lastly rule of thumb:
Is your team dying? Then you aren't close enough/ aren't hitting enough of your shots on the monster.
Are you dying? Then you are too close and you need to be able to shoot, heal and dodge at the same time.
Find a balance in between those two and you should be golden.

I think some players who can reliably find the monster get frustrated if their team doesn't cut it off. If you were anticipating him finding the monster before everyone else the best way to have handled that game is sticking wth him, even if it's not what you wanted to hear. There would be no other way he wouldn't have been downed and I guarantee you aren't going to convince a random pubber to play differently so the responsibility falls upon you unfortunately.

I expected them to be noticeable, but its a lot more significant than I was thinking.
The traversal feels significantly slower and Decoy's range nerf completely fucked its AI. It won't attack it people are just slowing walking backwards away from it now, and if you send it at a group of food it will pick a single one and focus it down whereas before it would generally just hit them all with every attack.
The cooldown doesn't matter much, its up a little less often overall because no one bothers to actually kill the decoy anyway but it doesn't affect your gameplan significantly.

I'll still stomp retards but competent hunters are going to be even worse now.
