So I've been climbing past my mechanical skill level due to my awesome decision making and map awareness.

The climb is well and good but not being able to keep up in CS is starting to put me at a large disadvantage.

How do I get better at it? I need to get better at both CSing and knowing when/where I can go get more farm but I'll need to post games for that I guess.

I'm Plat 2 and every game has diamonds on both teams. I want that filthy diamond border. Almost at promos.

If you make a champion just a featureless white box of abilities, what it is played for is the concept.

The skin, the voice, the "lore", the theme, that is all fluff.

A method that used to allow you to get to level 6 at 6 minutes, but I don't think it gets you quite there anymore.

Basically you do all of your camps except for red and blue buff. You back at level 3, get the second component of your jungle item, and a few potions or a pink ward, and again do all of your camps, this time including both buffs. You should end up really close to level 6 around 6 minutes in.

Alright Lolg lets play a game, spruce things up a bit.

Think of two champions, any two champions in this game. Now, switch the abilities of both champions without changing anything about them mechanically in how they work, but make each kit fit the thematic of the new respective champion. Be as creative as you can.

Example: Azir and Zed

New Azir

Melee, Azir fights with his staff basic attacks look similar to xin zhao's or jax.

>Passive: Execution. Azir stabs units below 50% hp With his staff dealing extra magic dmg based on their missing health.
>Q: Sand spear. Azir summons and throws a sand spear in a target direction dealing dmg.

How the fuck do I stop getting so damn salty every time I lose, this is killing me.

I'm fine in a win, and I've gotten a lot better at doing fine with losess in general. I get a bit upset in post-game chat, but I never say anything in game, and it really only happens if I'm on a losing streak and lose games in really bad ways. Just read this today so let me get some things straight:
Since the common problem with pro plays and all that are lane swapping, they try to stop it by giving bot lane a change in the turret, first blood on turrets, and the cannon minion rotation. With that in mind, I wanna clarify and/or know some things based on the info that we have been given as of now.
1.) How are those changes help on stopping or reducing the lane swapping problem? Is it all through the gold gain?
2.) Is it me or do I smell a 3-4 people bot lane on start in a pro game?
3.) How heavy does the change affect to the game itself outside of pro play? Is it so strong that everyone can feel it or does it feel like nothing happened at all.
4.) Lane swapping exists in the first place due to gold advantage right?

1) If you laneswap not only is the other team pretty much guaranteed the first blood gold they also have the option to either follow up with a free dragon or alternatively try to defend the top tower which now there is a real chance to succeed at.
An advantage of dragon + 400g is so significant that teams most likely will only lane swap under dire circumstances.

2) Doesn't make people gank bot any more often that they would in a standard laning. The protection is gone by 5 mins and you can really get 1 good gank off in that time

3) Doesn't matter in soloQ besides some weird one trick base timings with the new cannon order

4) It should exist as a strategic option to get a different lane match up. Currently it exists to eliminate the risk from 4 players as they get to effectively pve for the first 6 mins of the game, more if it's double turret trade. This means everyone besides mid can be shitters individually and then the team can rely more on the mid game teamfights as the early game is effectively skipped.

I was gold 1, and thought I had gotten the hang of things for the most part, then just started slowly losing more and more and the more I would just try and take a break and try again a day later or so it just didnt make a difference

Not exactly. The first 10 placement games have very high MMR gains/losses, and so do the next 20 or so games but to a lesser degree. Everything after that, be it 50 or 50 million functions the same. If your rank matches your MMR you'll get roughly equal LP gains/losses for win and loss, and you'll get more gains than losses if you win more than you lose recently. If you're at 250 wins 250 losses and start winning every game you'll quickly get large LP gains, same as if you were at 15 wins 15 losses and started winning every game. Overall games played doesn't do anything.

If I may give my two cents on it,(guy who asked the question in the first place). I have lvl 7 on fiora and lvl 6 on riven, and I've played the matchup more than a few times now from both sides, and every time i feel like no matter who Im playing I always have a strategy or an idea I can use to win the lane/game. With fiora I always play aggresive early game, always, Riven's q is actually easy to dodge and hiting the vitals with Fiora guarantees a won lane (actually happened to me this game, was 30% hp after the first wave) also blocking riven's e-w or 3rd q most likely means you've won that trade/fight and can kill riven.

On the other side, as riven, actually pausing an extra second before your 3rd q catches so many fioras off guard its crazy. (Happend this game also, how I got first blood after the fiora turret dived me lvl 3, got lucky as fuck)

On a side note, I really feel with riven that once the laning stage is over I become over all less effective across the map, especially in teamfights, unless I get some sort of lucky 4-5 man stun/knockup I dont contribute much and just get focused down, any tips?

Liandries is all over the place purpose wise. It's an anti-tank item, but gives flat pen, which is best against squishies who don't build any MR. You could argue that it's therefore good against health stackers who don't build any MR, but for the current %HP to be good you need to be repeatedly applying it, and any mage that can repeatedly apply its effect could just buy more AP and do more sustained damage anyway. Mages that have problems with health stackers are burst mages, all of which can't use liandries well at all because they get 1 application from their whole rotation.

She's a top champ who's not really tanky. She's designed for 1v1 scenarios, or at most, 1v2 and splitpushing. She's not really designed for teamfights, so it's not surprising that you find it hard in them. If you can pick people off 1v1 and force the enemy to send several people to a lane to try to deal with your splitpushing, making it easier for your team to overpower them across the map, you're doing your job.

Trying to do the "le everyone group mid and push" meme shit isn't playing to her strengths.
