I am enjoying more that I thought it would, but it's still a pretty shabby work. The setting is cool but not as developed as it really should be, the romance aspect is minimal, and even though there are individual routes there is some extreme copypaste throughout. Still, if I were to rate it on visual direction and character interactions alone it'd be a 9/10, because cute boys doing goofy sentai things on summery Ryukyu Islands to the sound of Okinawa banjos is really what is has going for it. So worth a download, at least.

Incidentally, Rejet staff (Iwasaki and Hosoya) worked on it too, so if you played TYB, Lucian Bee's, or TinyxMachinegun you might notice some similarities.

The anime is just awful.

I don't usually invest in earbuds so I'm not sure, earphones are just much more comfortable for me to wear. The ones I had before, comparatively, are noticeably better quality though. The biggest difference I can tell in terms of dummy mic is that it's hard to tell location spatially beyond simple left and right, and I often get the impression that the seiyuu's voice is coming from behind rather than in front of me. The audio gets super fuzzy for close up audio as well, and if it's a track with a lot of extra sound effects (like clothes rustling) Its harder to tell what the sound is, very staticky.

I think with a decent pair of in-ear phones it wouldn't make much of a difference, but I'd have to try out a decent pair first.

tb.h, I don't notice good headphones. I just notice when it's bad. Pic related is my current pair (bought it at $50 on Black Friday). It's comfy enough for bed and picks up even the smaller sounds. Earbuds irritate my ears a bit.

I think with better headphones, you're just able to hear more of the softer sounds in the background, like sheets rustling or tiny whimpers. I've also noticed that my ipod can play these sounds better than my laptop.

Like >>149434036 said, beyond the left and right, most of the time the voice sounds like it's coming from the back, rather than the front. I half suspect this is a brain trick since you can see with your eyes that nothing's in front of you, while you can't always be sure of the back.

Supposedly "open ear" headphones are more natural as they have a larger sound stage so you can localize what direction the sound is coming from. (I'm just regurgitating what the gaymans say.) The downside is that being open, the sound leaks and other people can hear what you're listening to, which is why I've never tried them.

And generally, bad anatomy does not look sexy, so eroge artists with bad anatomy don't get very popular.

I prefer otoge artists by a huge amount. Yeah a lot can't draw a male chest to save their lives but they generally have some stand out feature about their style that makes it appealing. So much eroge has that same shitty coloring style, and I bet a lot of the ones who draw "good" female anatomy would be awful at males too past disembodied floating dicks.

There are some eroge artists I love and would kill to have do an otoge but that's a very limited group. Namaniku ATK, Ooishi Ryuuko, AKIRA and Happoubi Jin are the first that come to mind. Sumeragi Kohaku was on that list too so I'm thrilled she's doing one.

His coffin is fully loaded with a fridge, air conditioning and manga collection. Rei's fucking hilarious, I read his short introduction chapters sometimes for shit and giggles. Though all the oddballs are great.

And no, Souma's not very popular especially since he's in one of the least popular units as well. The most popular characters are Rei, Ritsu, Mao, all of Knights and then some Ryuseitai members.

Have fun, the gameplay is like watching paint dry but the event stories are fun with surprisingly good character development for everyone. I know someone mentioned before that IChu suffers from a huge cast but I think Enstars makes the 30+ characters work really well.
