I guess Tenjo might work but his soul has been trapped in Bang's nail for all the games.

The thing is, he's from an alternate past of the current world. In the world of BlazBlue, a Naoto Kurogane did exist in the past, but he was killed off by Clavis Alucard.

All we know for sure is that Naoto has some sort of connection with the Black Beast, and that his power of Bloodedge is the main thing that seems to connect him to Ragna.

I think the interesting thing about Ragna now is that he's finally using the Azure Grimoire for more than just hitting things. He was apparently planning to erase a few of Lambda's memories, and he's also gonna use Soul Eater to ask Rettenjo something.

It's kind of hard to remember sometimes that, OH YEAH, the Azure Grimoire is still a goddamn Grimoire, and the most powerful Grimoire in the world at that. Of COURSE it can do things other than beat people up.
