Trust moggles, you get them from events and apparently fat chocobo too (star quartz shop).
Depending of your luck, you can also get 3~4 duplicates instead of 20 and build a samefag team to farm trust on earth temple, then fuse them all to get the trust reward.

Hey anons, I'm from /feg/, but for awhile now, I've wanted to play Final Fantasy game. Which should I start with? People have told me VII because "It's the best one." And I have heard that, but, I don't want the series to just have to live up to VII at that point.

If you're looking for something lighthearted and probably sticks to the "classic" FF formula the best, I'd recommend V; VI is also pretty good gameplay-wise but it's a lot more heavy on the story.

I - III are all products of an old age which means ridiculous difficulty at times, and II's system is very hit-and-miss with people. IV is okay I guess.

VII is an alright starting point, but people will probably say it's not "classic" FF, so do what you will.

None of the games are connected by story, and most of the games are very different from each other so it's hard to judge the whole series by a single game. It's common for people to like a few FF games but absolutely despise others.

The upside of this is you can pretty much play any game in the series without knowing about the other games. The downside is it's hard to make recommendations without knowing your tastes.

The best I can say is look at some summaries or reviews of the games and just pick one that seems interesting to you. Or just pick one that's easy for you to get a hold of and play based on what systems they're on.

VII just has the nostalgia factor of being people's first JRPG, and the fact that it catches on through osmosis. It felt just like a 3D Final Fantasy game, for better or for worse.
IV, VI, and IX are good entry points too, I'd love to list my favorites but they honestly would make for a rough first experience.

Stopped playing XIII after Hope met his father, and just looked up gameplay/story one day while waiting for my PS3 to get repaired, and never had the will to keep at it.
From looking at XIII-2 and XIII-3 stuff though, it seems so different, no? That one big campfire scene near the end of the first game made me go sorta soft on the game. If they just left it at where it was, do you think it'd have been better than God bullshit and time travel?

I'm actually tempted to get up to that big open area place near the end, but whenever I think of how the story might turn nice, I just remember what it'll eventually lead to and lose interest.

So /ffg/, I have two extra RK accounts in addition to my main and I'm thinking of giving away the third out to someone who wants another shot at RK but never had the relic luck to go with it. In the first place it was given away to me by someone here who was dropping RK, but since then I've managed to turn it around and get a lot more good relics like SG since then.

Notables include Cecil and Cloud's BSB, a Wall, and both of Ramza's SBs not named Shout, Leon's SB, and a shit-ton of damage-pushing SSBs like Agrias, Zidane or Bartz. Apart from Ramza's Tailwind though, I don't have any other Medicas save for shared ones, but thanks to Cid Mission balancing from now on that lets Ultimate bosses be more lenient they can usually do the job.

It does have 102 or so stamina, I'm wondering if I should try to rack up stamina before handing it out for real and making sure whoever gets it won't have to play catch-up.

With a bit of strategy I've been able to beat every Ultimate starting from the Big Bridge with it because I got the Wall around then, so you should be able to go for all the U+ bosses provided it's not one of the supposedly notorious ones, but the hones and orbs may be a bit lacking because of the start time. Would anyone be interested?

Those numbers don't match up at all. You're around 10 times more likely to get a 4* than you are a 5*, maybe even higher. Lightning would have to be much lower than 1%, unless they making her draw rate so immensely high that she's pretty much the only 5* you'll be able to pull.

In Brave Exvius, is there any actual consequence of getting a 3* or 4* version of a hero then awakening them to 5* vs. rolling the 5* itself?
I know that there are abilities learned at certain levels, are these missed permanently in an awakened version of a hero?

Not really, you could become immune to four at most, six if you junctioned Pain to ele-def. Sure, you'd be able to get rid of berserk/confuse/sleep/silence but you'd still have to take a couple rounds to get rid of things like curse, poison, blind and slow petrify.

I'm hunting with 4x stat-def, what made you think I'm not? And even with that setup, it doesn't cover ALL effects, since you still have curse and slow petrify, is what I'm trying to say. They're a non-issue with a round of esuna/treatment, but it still doesn't mean you can be immune 'to all'.

For sheer magic output Kefka's without a doubt better - and he has access to those disgusting spells like Trine, Heartless Angel and Hyperdrive.

Golbez has a niche as a tanky mage thanks to the access to heavy armors, much like Exdeath.

Kefka's TMR is definitely better imo - complete status immunity is nice desu, and Meteor isn't as useful if you have access to stuff like Hyperdrive anyway.

But if you like Golbes better go for it anon, I gave priority to my favourites as well.

I'd definitely have to say Meteor gets my vote for favorite over Golbez himself.
I subscribed to FFXIV almost exclusively on the merits of "Black Mages get to cast Meteor as a limit break". I still consider it the best LB3 even after all the classes got unique ones.
It is without a doubt my favorite Final Fantasy legacy spell.
