Ana's healing block will land every time. Zenyatta's Discord Orb lands every time. Usually debuffs are balanced by a cancel condition (time, line-of-sight requirement, certain abilities can cancel it instantly) and by not being overpowering. A good debuff should put the target at a tactical disadvantage (they have to run away or risk being more easily defeated with Discord Orb, or they can't rely on healing and are thus more easily killed with Ana's healing debuff) rather than WoW or Final Fantasy debuffs where it's probably going to get cleared off by a party member so fast it doesn't really effect your play unless your healer doesn't do their job.

Well personally I sont like her because, every time I play her my LMB is a cool water spray on a hot august day, cant freeze anyone with my q or die before I do anything with it., and I have had moderate success with her other skills while enemy meis seem to freeze me solid the momen the stream makes contact anywhere close to me, can freeze my entire team and block every ultimate with their wall.

I am so shit at her. Maybe I'll try her again if I get one of her legendary skins

I have a friend that lives in EU while I'm in USW. when we play games together it's usually a difference of about 100 ping; how bad is that in overwatch? in CSGO it was unplayable because precision is so important but since there's heroes like Junkrat who don't have to hit the target I think it might be playable.

So I know I'm losing games now due to tanking or supporting for people in 50-60 range because my stats are much better than people in my range playing assault.

Tank I don't mind having to do as much, sometimes the randoms will listen to you or be forced to help you or lose.

Support is crazy though, because nobody can play Mercy at 50-60. I find we have a better chance if I do it, but then our assault players can't hit anything and we basically don't have a support if I play assault.

Would my chances of winning be better if I just spam assault or is filling the way to go?

I hate being Mr. Nice Guy, but every game I've had someone not retarded on at least one of those non-assault roles, we win. It's just difficult to get 50-60s to play it.

I feel like I overvalue the ult and often just keep it up all the game without using it once. If we're winning hard, there's no point in using it and if we're losing I try to keep it for the best moment (team near me, enemies cluttered) that never comes.
So I have awful stats on my ults and don't know how to use them (dragonblade for 1 or 2 kill max).
Can I get better if I just practice ult in the shooting range ?

Every single ult you listed is amazingly easy to dodge. That one time in the match you save people with wall, you've quite probably caused a similar level disaster benefiting the other team with it. Meanwhile your Zarya is nullifying multiple lethal things every push.

Genji and Tracer getting slowed by Mei even once per game is pretty laughable. Nobody gets caught by Mei on those characters reliably.

If you can't distinguish why Zarya ult, that bunches people up in a finite point so you can execute their entire team from half a screen away, is more likely to win you the team fight; then your opinion is pretty biased in favor of your pick.


Mei just isn't viable. Everything she does someone does better with the exception of those super rare moments protecting a team from something good play wouldn't have exposed them to in the first place.

Imo even if you get 1-2 high priority targets with your ult it's worth using it. I used to save my ult all game too for that "right moment" to make the "big play". What ended up generally happening is my team would stall and never have that moment and we'd lose.

Meanwhile you probably could have used my ult 2-3 times if I just spent it shortly after getting it. If you use your ult and kill 1-2 people it may win you the next team fight and allow your team to cap the point. It doesn't have to be le epic play of the game every time.
