I just caught up to all the WoD stuff and they story doesn't make any fucking sense. In HFC, you end up rescuing Grommash from the legion and instead of killing him, you let him decapitate some dead body. Whatever, that's fine. But then at the end, after you beat Archimonde, Grommash and that dranei bitch are basically arm in arm celebrating? wtf? When did they become okay with each other? Didn't Grommash orchestrate dranei genocide and specifically kill like the main dranei dude? But everybody is just like yay, he picked up Gorehowl!!!! And then Khadgar is just like...peace out and that's it. Am I missing some crazy shit that happens in the legendary quest or is that really it? I'm only on part 2 of that but I can't imagine too much of that story overlaps.

Fury's less survivable than a rogue, though I like how it plays now. They have no defensive cooldowns and take 30% increased damage while enraged, like in the old days. They rely entirely on leech modifiers on bloodthirst.

Now if Blizzard were actually considerate and cared about the players and their needs/wants, they would have developed a proper system.

Don't get me wrong, there should always be some reward to getting the drops on the appropriate toons, but to give a middle finger to those unlucky enough to get Judgement on their Rogues and Bloodfang on their Paladins, that's just wrong.

What they should have done is given players the ability to "Force Learn" an appearance by talking to some vendor, purchasing an item for 10,000 gold or something, and allowing players to use it on an item of a different armor class in their inventory to collect it's appearance.

But, let me repeat myself.
Autism. That's what Blizzard has and that's why this game is forever doomed to be half good, and half misery.

And just because the system has a major flaw doesn't mean it's big enough to make people quit the game. Nobody is trying to say that.

However every single person who's got a bunch of alts knows the pain of getting the wrong drops on the wrong toons. It's been an ongoing issue for years, they had a chance to fix it but opted not to. This alone is one of the primary reasons people got hyped for ACCOUNT WIDE TRANSMOG in the first place, until the unmentioned restrictions slowly made their way into public knowledge.

Now most of the hype is about the bag space us collectors will have since farming for shit (especially class specific stuff) will pretty much remain as bad as it ever was, likely forever, since they could have solved it here but chose not to.

it looks like that but trying it on the beta is really not that bad. frost dk which is the quintessential press 2 buttons class gets choices of how they put out their damage. there's a talent which makes you want to sit with no runes, there's that one which makes you unload during remorseless winter. even enh shaman with their glorified rage bar has talents which augment their priority like that.

most classes really are customisable now like that and i think it'll be really interesting, unless you're one of those who checks icy veins every time they have to make a decision.

You can do all the math you want, but it's irrelevant. I don't have the legs, my luck is bad. Numbers mean dogshit here since they won't magically give me my rogue the legs. I've seen the legs on other non-rogue toons, so it's not even a matter of "the item is too rare" it's "I don't ever fucking get it on the class that needs it".

I've vendored tons of them. This is why the system is flawed, and why I should be able to pay a large fee of gold to compensate for it.
