Everyone here seems to bitch about a Mordekaiser or Urgot rework but come on... have we forgotten about who REALLY needs one? This guy right here has aged horrendously. His one and only redeeming feature, counter jungling, is rendered totally obsolete in the hyper mobile meta and by other junglers can do the same thing while bring more to the table. He contributes absolutely NOTHING to teams and has the worst ganks in the game. There is no reason to pick him over literally any other jungler.

Here's what I don't understand: in the past Riot said that Morde's ultimate made him difficult to balance, so not only do they keep his ultimate, they give him a new passive on it that allows him to have a dragon ghost?

Oh the %HP DoT aspect is amazing, late game it's a 10 second slow that perpetually applies Liandry's and heals you for all damage done while simultaneously charging your shield. Everyone says to Ult the ADC as Morde, but if they've got a tank you can use your ultimate on them to become basically unkillable as you drain 55% of their total health, even more with Liandry's + gunblade.

It's just that the on-kill ghost effect is totally underemphasized when it could have been central to his kit.

How strong is kassadin right now? He's pretty fun in normals and I just got that comic skin he has from a skin shard.

Basically, only the Mordekaiser player has to control both units simultaneously rather than relying on a teammate coordinating with them.

There's a lot of relatively simple but involved concepts you could run with. You could have a tether form between him and the ghost that damages enemies who pass through it, you could give Mordekaiser a knock back that does bonus damage if the enemy knocked back collides with his ghost etc. Anything to make the ghost itself a more essential aspect of his gameplay and not "you got a kill so here's this thing that makes it easier to get the next kill".

I really liked it and what it enabled me to do with Shyvana and Yi. It was legitimately too strong, but entirely because of the people who used it.
