I would say it depends on your weapon.

The moveset isn't great, but if your weapon sucks at killing small stuff and you don't want to swap it works.

I swap out the cart game pretty frequently because I replay pokemons and zeldas pretty often
I like to keep monster hunter on the console because I play it regularly for several months each new release and I have a large SD card so I might as well

So I transferred my save alright from MHX to MHG and prior to transferring it I tried to fix my name with the save editor as originally I had used the Japanese keyboard to input my name. It seemed to fix it at first, but my name reverted back to what it was originally after booting up the save in MHG.

Any idea on how to fix it?
