For me it fell apart in most of the heroine routes because I felt like most of the drama surrounding them was bad and I didn't find the pacing in any of the relationships to be good except for, say, Yume's (and hers is only well-paced for retarded reasons).

The common route was mostly inconsequential SOL stuff, but it had plenty of charm and many funny moments. Though holy fuck do they like to re-use gags in Hoshimemo.

Cons
-Even though it tries to be different, that doesn't mean it's good. The world is quite boring overall
-The fight scenes suck and are incredibly predictable
-None of the girls felt particularly remarkable and all of them had dumb drama that was impossible to take seriously
-Just terribly boring overall. It doesn't go into, "So-bad-it's-good" territory often enough for it to be entertaining, and it never has any particularly shining moments either. It's literally straight up a thoroughly mediocre product, which, ironically, makes it less memorable than a horrible product.

I give it a D+.

That's because they don't use the setting properly until the main route in sequel and even then it'll only make you hate the Yves and Akane (Such a shame to, Yves was alright in the original game).
