most importantly because you ARE the poon trap as griffin so you can reposition yourself for maximum effectiveness, with a nice secondary effect of it not breaking to the monster's random autistic flailing since you should be pooning him in the ass every time instead of some random spot on the front of his body

Rogue val does more damage on her own and bigger AoE heals but shitty single-target heals. Idk if they changed it but instead of a heal burst she gets passive AoE regen and by using her heal burst she just fullheals herself. Its very useful if the monster is dumb and tries to focus you because you can end up living as long as an assault with defense matrix if your support shields you.

She also gets a DoT poison rifle which tracks the monster. The damage is definitely considerable.

Regular Val doesnt do as much damage with her sniper but she can make weakpoints show up on the monster so your team does more damage

Place spikes near chokepoints around the edge of the map. Overlapping is inefficient but sometimes happens, dont sweat it. Harpoon when the monster is between you and its target, otherwise it does nothing. You'll need to run around constantly to make use of it. If its target is YOU then just whip out your msg and go to town. His damage isn't godly for a trapper but its not bad.

That's the point, Armor barely useful because you already got medic or annoying support.
Monster always aimed your medic or support first because aiming on Assault is completely pointless unless you got no other target on sight.

First I didn't like Hank but I am starting to like him because of his shield beam literally fucks over the monster trying to kill the medic. It wasn't even hard to do and my team barely took damage yet when I go medic I never get any help.

And unlike Parnell, other assaults don't have to kill themselves to get that damage and they also have additional useful tools in that slot like Hyde's area denial, Markov's anti-looping, and Lennox's traversal. This game is fun once you get Griffon. Those fucking spikes. They are basically make 50-70% of the map lock on monster detection and that hook stop faggots from spamming constantly disruption moves. I can actually peel for the medic and support. Plus once the dome goes down you can drag his ass so the team can cram it up his pooper for nice damage instead of the monster running away instantly.

Went from 1/5 wins as hunter to 3/3 in a row.

Protip, health regen takes effect as long as you're not taking HEALTH damage. This means with a hank or sunny you can run 3 tiers of health regen and actively heal up while being shielded, often times regen back to full as long as you don't take a direct impact from a rock while on ground, or a lightning strike.

and 3 tiers of health regen is on par with taking a healing grenade from caira every single second.
