The Wee Hideaway has a small live sound stage, and a single speaker in the corner that plays music. It has a separate dart room, a separate pool room, each with one speaker that are all synchronized to music from the 70's and 80's at a low volume. It's quiet except for the laughter of patrons until about eight or nine at night, when one or two guys in their 50's plug in their guitars to provide atmosphere music.

It's the epitome of comfy.

Green Dragon in downtown Portland is pretty comfy. The bar is in an old industrial warehouse so its really big, and the entire wall is covered in massive TV's, and when I went there with a couple friends on a rainy night it was close to empty.

Only people there were a small group of friends playing board games, but the bar counter was completely vacant. Food wasnt half bad either. Its ina shitty part of town but not far from the mainstrip so I would say its safe

It was an arrangement between their game companies. ROM did them a solid by promoting their game, which had been in development before ROM started up, despite ROM releasing earlier. There's a bar in Tokyo called zyzzyx. Its a tiny little place about two blocks from the Yamanote line station in Ogikubo and nestled with some tiny restaurants. During a bad time in my life I went on a month long vacation to grorious Nippon and stayed nearby. The bar became a place I went to almost every night. I got know a lot of the bartenders and regulars. To this day the place bears this stinging nostalgia for me, their wood panel walls and uneven floor, with a TV inexplicably playing classic movies the whole time while Sinatra crooned from an old 8-track the owner was very fond of. Oh, and a cat just lived in the bar.

This game brought that sense of nostalgia back strong, felt like home in a way that no place I have lived in for quite some time has managed. On the off chance this gets to the dev: Thank you so much for this. It might just be a silly waifubait game but it means something to me. Brought me back to a place that helped me through a shitty time.
