Playing my LTTB and I literally just got eight games in a row that were less than 35% chance to win. Dunno, these are just the tanks I always find myself coming back to whenever I'm feeling down. I actually feel like I do worse in supposed meta tanks as it probably just gets to my head that I should be doing better in them, whereas playing mediocre tanks make it feel like I've overcome something when I win and do well.

Also the Matilda is hardly average. Its probably the one of the most broken tier 4 tanks in the game. The gun is amazing and the armor works well enough most of the time.

How is the T32?

The highest tier I've struck so far is 8 with the Pershing, and I hate it. I may even sell it since I've heard the line isn't much different from there on out. Honestly I think I just don't see the point of driving a medium with a non-rapid fire gun.

That's it. I'm sick of all this "Masterwork 76 mm" bullshit that's going on in WOT right now. The OQF 17 pdr deserves much better than that. Much, much better than that.

I should know what I'm talking about. I myself commissioned a genuine gun in England for 24,000 Pounds (that's about $200,000) and have been practicing with it for almost 2 years now. I can even pierce slabs of solid Krupp steel with my gun.

English gunsmiths spend years working on a single gun and bore it up to a million times to produce the finest rifling known to mankind.

17 pdr shells are thrice as penetrating as European shells and thrice as hard for that matter too. Anything a M1 76 mm gun can punch through, a 17 pdr can punch through better. I'm pretty sure a 17 pdr could easily bisect a Tiger wearing full steel with a simple horizontal shot.

Ever wonder why Nazi Germany never bothered conquering the UK? That's right, they were too scared to fight the disciplined Fireflies and their guns of destruction. Even in Korea, Chinese soldiers targeted the men with the Fireflies first because their killing power was feared and respected.

So what am I saying? The 17 pdr is simply the best gun that the world has ever seen, and thus, require better stats in WOT. Here is the stat block I propose for the 17 pdr:

(Tier 8 rifled tank gun)
740 damage
9,8" (248 mm) penetration
0,14 accuracy
APCR as default ammunition

(Tier 8 rifled AT gun)
960 damage
9,8" (248 mm) penetration
0,12 accuracy
APCR as default ammunition

Now that seems a lot more representative of the penetrating power of the 17 pdr in real life, don't you think?

Everything slows down past tier 7, if you like spamcannon type guns stick to mid-tiers or get a tier 8 light as your high tier. T-54LW is a good choice since it also leads to the bias high tier meds.

I wish someone would have told me about the mediums getting slower earlier, my favorite tank is the Easy 8, I figured every tank down the American line would be at least decent after playing it. It didn't mind the T20, the gun always seemed to reload a bit too slow but the speed made up for it. I literally can't find anything redeemable about the Pershing that I like. It is actually kind of slow (although I guess not for it's tier), and the gun is pretty fucking trash.

I've heard the M103 is great, I don't consider myself a heavy driver but I did enjoy the fuck out of my T29 and Jumbo. I guess if the T32 is at least solid I won't mind it, the Pershing really just lets me down over and over again. The gun is probably the biggest piece of shit I have ever fired.

M103 is average right now but it's a getting a huge turret buff next patch. T32 is the exact same tank as the T29, just with better armour and worse MM. It doesn't fare nearly as well unless you bring at least a handful of APCR. It's also a shitheap stock, so freeXP the turret even if you have to use torsion bars to get around the stock suspension until then.
