hi. i just spent like 40 mins on hanamura practicing ledge jumping as genji and didnt have much success. did like 30 random imperfect ledge jumps, 1 time i was even sent flying backwards.

i still havent grasped the process. what keys do i hold, release when exactly, where to best aim, angle and shit, from what distance should i begin the jump?

If you're playing Pharah and they counter you with Widow the game is still playable.
If you're playing Torb and they counter with Pharah you're out of the game, simple and plain.

Her damage scaling has been fixed so quit whining.
A little baiting and trigger discipline goes a long way. Before you complain, tanks are there to force large groups of enemies to rethink how they approach. Reinhardt, Roaghog, Zarya especially are designed to control large groups.
They are SUPPOSED to make you pause and think about your strategy and if you cannot overcome their core mechanics then you're a fucking shitter who refuses to stop playing like some kind of TF2 babby.

A good Zarya is a frightening thing. Honestly the only choice to avoid her getting charge is to not shoot at all. Which is an auto-lose.

Like it or not a good Zarya will always get charge, its knowing how to deal with her after that point thats the trick.
A good Zarya makes any slow projectile/big damage heroes useless since whether they like it or not they will feed her shield.

is he good when you pick him against some teams? yes, undeniably so. but most of the time he's just dead weight and most heroes don't suffer from that. tracer, for example, is much harder to nullify with team compositions, at least in pub games.

genji's ult is his saving grace in his "bad" games but it's typically not enough to justify picking him when picking rein, soldier, mercy and lucio is basically mandatory for every composition

I can fix the entire game and especially defense maps.

Remove healers and all healing from the game.

You now have the advantage as a defender of having your base close to heal at.

You no longer have to kill the enemy team 2-3 times per fight because of fucking mercy. Damage actually matters.
