One can get 1402 HP from 4x red gems (top/bot armor) + 2x yellow gem on your shoes. All gems lv 5.
+1700 from plate mastery for a whooping 2900hp.

I really want a grynas set, but it locks you into one character and takes 2 weeks to get.
What do you guys think about wasting some gems on a superior royal guard set? Seems a good idea since, well, even if I farm a grynas in the future, there will be always a alt to wear the trash set.

One of my pet peeves in this game is that the crafting rarely make any sense. In other MMO, you want to craft a plate armor the recipe calls for like 12 ores, 10 metals, etc. Light armor calls for leather, weapons a combination of wood and ore and such and such.

In this game, 15 random monster drops for whatevs. Crafting isn't that much fun in any MMO but somehow they managed to make it even more unfun. I didn't know it was even possible.

It looks like a PvP build, you got QS to stun and Pavise which also functions as something to Retreat Shot into, Sapper to Detonate magic circles, Scout to Cloak, Rogue to steal magic circles and SR to actually do damage with Retreat Shot.

what's a good cleric build where i'd be useful in a party but still be able to solo level efficiently. or better yet, is there a cleric build that does loads a damage?

It is fun - I made one of those horrible poison merog stingers at the 130 dungeon entrance yesterday, and this Bad Apple guy runs up and smacks it. First hit took him down to 1/4, then dead. He sort of sat there on the ground for a good 30 secs, then relogged.

But really - it's great if you can get the proper minion going. But be warned, it gets buggy when you try to Convert your second or third monster. Occasionally all your converted monsters will just park and no longer teleport to you or attack - it's weird because the mobs see them and attack them, but it's like they aren't actually there. You can't change channels or leave the map once you have it going, so it's more about doing it to grind, or get through a tough quest area.

Get a non-flyer you can heal, and buff them too. Zalciai does wonders, and put Deprotect on their target. You end up supporting your minion(s).

You'll do close to swordsman damage whilst being tons more useful.

Don't expect to get anywhere near meta archer and mage damage though
