the spartans are strong but even with all their arguments they are on par with elites.

but they are very good at fighting dirty or simply doing stuff Elites wouldnt imagine.

I think it's worth noting that they didn't really get outplayed in space. people like Keyes were uncommon, the Covies weren't exactly tactical slouches when it came to naval battles. The UNSC scraped most of it's space victories together by drowning the covie ships in burnt hull fragments like soviet v german airforce battles

I think that they just let their ground combat tactics fall to the wayside -- they didn't take it seriously because of how long they had unquestioned orbital superiority. Why bother, after all?

I bring it up because Strike Vector shows how absurdly hard it is to hit people with "dead" projectiles. The reason why everyone quit the game is because people got tired of not being able to hit other players. There were simply too many degrees of freedom to dodge dumb bullets.

Wouldn't this also apply for naval battles? If the UNSC's MAC guns fire rounds at 30 km/s, if the Covie ships are 60, 90, 120, etc. km away, they've got multiple whole seconds to move or rotate in literally any direction to dodge the shot. I can tell you how easy that shit is. Good fucking luck hitting anyone like that.

Even the Orbital Defense Platforms only fire at 12,000 km/s. If the Covie ships were parked by the Moon, which is 250,000 km away, they could snipe them with those fancy particle accelerators and still have almost TWENTY (20) seconds to move out of the way of any return fire.

Space is fucking big, and you're gonna need some kind of homing projectile to hit fucking anything from any range beyond "point blank knife fight" range.

I STILL forget how to do things and find certain menus and I bought it last year.
Installation times are ridiculous, the hard drive is far too small
It's weak, even at launch it was weak
You can't talk to or play with people on xbox 360 because it uses an entirely new friend system, which is an unintuitive mess
All of the new features like snapping apps, and streaming, don't really work properly across all games. Lots of apps are laggy while using them while snapped. Streaming usually works, but sometimes I can't talk to people with my headset, or my controller doesn't work

Xbox Instant On only works for some games. When I try to play Forza from instant on, it wont read any controller inputs. I have to restart the entire console.

Really just about everything about the Xbox One is bad. I don't think I'll ever get over my buyers remorse.

They already said that they won't kill off Chief they probably put him to sleep for some years so they can focus on spin offs and the. Come back about six or nine years later with a sequel that deals with Master Chief return for one more trilogy to save Humanity and their Mantle test from the Precursor and save the universe from the Precursor. Series has been leading to this for a while, you don't just stop halfway into it and not finish all story paths. Chief is the culmination of a thousand lifetimes of planning and that wasn't for Cortana's AI rebellion that was for the return of the Precursors.
