Most combat behavior is determined by legs. some robots have different ai packages though, such as Curie being almost exclusively ranged.

Handy arms means you only make one melee attack, but it also gives you extra armor plating. It also makes the robot easy to stagger.

Sentry torso has cooldown, which might be an issue if you are relying on a bot to tank. Otherwise, go for it.

I like hammer saws for stagger, but you can stack energy boosts and take shishkebabs.

The leveled lists are only part of .esm and .esp files. As the Skyrim.esm can't be edited directly, deleting every .esp, read, every mod that touches the leveled lists, is enough.
If you somehow managed to edit the Skyrim.esm via FO4Edit, verifying game integrity through Steam should be enough to reset it.

Some mods also use scripts to inject the leveled lists via the items. Those mods don't need merged patches and don't conflict with other mods that edit the leveled lists. The scripts should do nothing unless they're enable via an .esp. To make sure, you could delete the Scripts folder located in the Fallout 4/Data folder. You don't have to worry about Vanilla scripts, as those are located in the .ba2 files.
If there's no Scripts folder, or it is empty, you didn't use mods that use scripts.

If they use scripts (for example the Chinese Assault Rifle and the DKS-501 Sniper Rifle), you don't have to do anything and simply use them as stand-alone mods. Which means you have to deselect them when starting FO4Edit.
How to find out if the mod uses scripts or not? Read the mod description page. If it doesn't mentioned "scripted" or talks about "possible incompatibilities with other mods that edit the leveled lists", it doesn't use scripts.

Also, just in case you're STILL experiencing conflicts, download and run LOOT to sort your load order.

That's literally all you need to do and you don't break your game that way, as it's just mods you can uninstall again.

Do you crash on start-up, or when trying to load a game? Because obviously, loading a game dependent on mods won't work.

If you crash on start-up, and you're sure there are no mods left, check if your DLCs are loaded correctly and present in the load order.

Other than that, you also might crash because of something idiotic, like an .ini edit or whatever, you did trying to "reset the load order".
Which can only be resolved by re-installing.

I'm doing a second playthrough and have an idea of what I want to do, which includes ignoring the minutemen for the most part.

- Faction Armor Redone: gets rid of an annoyance in faction where you would lose any positive rep gained while wearing faction armor. Now I can be idolized by the NCR and my reputation will stay that way when putting on NCR outfits.
- IMPACT - Compatibility Edition: makes IMPACT work through scripts. The mod looks beautiful, I'd never used it because it conflicted with my mods, but now I can appreciate what I've been missing for two years.

In the base game, the BoS Officer Uniform can only be got off of Paladin Brandis (either kill him or pickpocket). When spawning, heavy combat armor will only be on higher level variants of enemies like gunners. Try merchants for a better chance at getting a full set.
Of course, you could just download Manufacturing Extended and make what you need.

ok: discovered the following with robots:

For melee robots:
Assault legs mandatory, sentry everything else, yes even the head because there is very powerful sentry head upgrades. Armor choice doesn't matter too much, but use a decent weaponlike hammer-saws or flame swords

For ranged robots:
Robo-brain legs, sentry everything else. Again the sentry head is powerfull for energy damage (+50%). laser gatling on both arms and NO shoulder mounted bullshit.

Every other bot combination is just for looks or just worse.

Yes even the mr: handy builds. Way too easy to stun and a very slow recovery.

I actually can't stand ES games. I bought Skyrim, put 50 or so hours on it and never played it again Bethesda games are extremely shallow despite being so large. Same happened to me with FO3. It was my second biggest disappointment in gaming behind FO4. Third biggest was BF3. My experience with Skyrim was the same. You would probably like Oblivion. Use fast travel minimally and I think you'd really like it.

Skyrim was inherently void for me because of the dead space the mountains created. A few things were on top of mountains or the sides, but they were just large obstacles that made travelling difficult. I found myself fast traveling and after 58 hours I had nothing else I wanted to do. 98% of the dungeons are Draugr, and they scale very hard late.

Probably haven't touched Skyrim since January 2013.

So have literally every other FPS in history and they're absolutely manageable with skill. Iron Sights aren't necessarily skillful and the spread in GO isn't even really RNG. Each spray has a pattern that is easily learned and used which is more than you can say about any other game since CS is the only one I know that doesn't use spray cones. It requires the most skill out of any FPS on the market besides Quake, but Quake was never any good imo.
