Really though it's up to you. Wheel zombies are faster and deal strike damage with their attacks and big zombies have a larger attack range, a chance to use a slightly more powerful attack, slightly higher HP, and 3 AoE ratio by default instead of 2 though the large mobs required to make them are generally not common. The attributes add to the CD of zombify, so keep that in mind.

It's my levelling technique. I rush stuff to 125, card to 136, do missions and 130 dungeon until 145. After that, I stop playing the character and only do the 3 daily missions for about a week. Hi, I played this game like a month ago before the f2p opened it's gates.

Archer 2 hunter 3 falcon 1 here going on falcon 2 soon. I'm doing ok with 20 invested con at 213. In dungeon runs you want to lure mobs then rushdog > growling > circling > multishot x2.

You won't need kneeling as you'll be moving around too much and by the time you get that combo off everything should be dead if your other party members use their aoes during circling as well. Make sure you attribute your multishot enhance to at least 50.

It's usually hard to tell where your pet is in the cluster of mobs so you just gotta get used to knowing which target your rushdog will hit so you can position your growling in the middle of the cluster of mobs. Sometimes I just jump into the middle to rushdog > growling and it usually catches them pretty well once they're sorta bunched up.

The problem is range or magic mobs that can kill your pet outside of growling range, especially magic mobs that use magic missile, will end up killing your pet while you're trying to cluster the mobs together. You gotta try and time your rushdog > growling immediately after the pet comes out of stun or just take magic mobs slowly.

Coursing and Retrieve don't work on bosses. Snatching does, but only if they're flying-type. Hunters are absolutely garbage for bosses.

Hunter C3 only adds growling, which is a pet AI mode that continuously gives Fear to everyone around the pet. As it does nothing worthwhile to players, it's useless in any sort of PvP.

Hunters are the safest class to play. They can solo any non-boss content, albeit very slowly. Crowd control multiple monsters with fears and take them out while they just stand there and don't fight back, or kill stuff one by one with retrieve/coursing. Absolutely deadly in 1x1 PvP, too. Hounding is top-tier in PvP too, all those Scout tears when you completely nulify stealth.

Max Retrieve, do not Max Coursing.

In solo play you'll also be using this combo to group mobs up rushdog > growling > circling > multishot x2. It works well for maps with lots of mobs like vedas plateau, you just group everything up and drop that combo and they all die. The hard part is not getting KSed by some other guy passing by while you're setting up.

For high HP mobs you have retrieve. If the mobs can be knocked back, you can full draw and link 2 of them together while your pet retrieves one of them and both will take damage while you spam oblique that will hit 2x since it hits both and then they both spread the damage to each other. For this you want full draw to be last as long as possible at lvl8 which means no kneeling shot. The other 2 points go into oblique and heavy.

You'll be using heavy shot to knock mobs into growling for both party and solo play, or to knock one mob closer to another to get them into full draw link range.

As hunter 3 falcon 1 (and evantually 2), you're just not going to be doing much on ground bosses, even with kneeling, so IMO it's better to level full draw for reasons above, since high HP mobs get tons of HP which will evantually outlast even a 14 sec retrieve. On mobs that can't be knocked back, kneeling would probably be better but you can also full draw link a mob that can be knocked back, into a mob that can't be knocked back if there are other mobs around.

I usually keep the pet fed unless it happens to be dying alot then I'll just ignore it. It will die alot if the pet is underleveled so at times you won't feed your pet at all.

Except for falconer 2 which I haven't gotten to yet. I can card to it but I think I'll probably do the truffle grind.

IMO fear 3 is enough and I should've maxed out snatching. Rushdog scales badly and you won't need it for mobbing since you'll be using the circling combo or retrieve for solo mobs so rushdog is pretty much just to move your pet around.

You can still max it if you want, I'm still considering since a maxed out rushdog drains SP pretty fast. 15 rushdog would eat as much SP as 10 retrieve but only do a fraction of the damage. Not really worth it IMO but then you have nothing else to spend the points on, so I just end up saving them for the time being. Coursing 1 is just to fill in for retrieve's downtime.

You'll pretty much never touch it again when you get retrieve. Hounding 1 for invisible mobs and if you do pvp.

If IMC ever finish all the ranks and level cap, will it be possible to quest and card to the max level or near it? Was that the original goal

Of course, the stun attribute is a given. Rushdog is good for low levels, it just scales badly into the higher levels. So you can level it during the low levels to spam it. Just remember the costs to damage ratio doesn't scale well into the higher levels, but always take the stun attribute and leave it on. For some reason snatching also benefits from the stun attribute despite it being for rushdog.

Do take note, falconer 1 and 2, is pretty much a 2 skill class. You will be doing nothing but circling + 1 other alternative of your choice, usually hovering or sonic strike if fal2, while circling is on CD.

Perch has long cd and terrible range so unless you're staying stationary in a single spot for a long time, you're never going to be using it. AND it forces your bird to take off and land on the perch after every skill use BUT if you give an order to your bird while it's taking off or landing, it'll ignore your skill and go on cd. So you have to wait for it to land on the perch if you want to give it continuous orders.

This will also happen without a perch so you'll want to be moving around every once in a while so your bird doesn't try to land on your shoulder and you end up blowing a circling cd when you need it.

Hanging shot is for moving around or for being lazy and avoiding boss aoes from the air, but you can only auto attack from it so no oblique/heavy spam which is what you'll want to be using between multishot cds.

This usually isn't a problem for hunter 3 anyways cause you'll have circling multi combo for mobbing and retrieve for single targets, but I think going musk/cannon for R7 is a better choice over falcon 2. Personally I'm going falconer 3 evantually though since I'm doing a pet control build but I honestly don't think falconer 3 will be good. But like I said as long as you have circling multi and retrieve, it's all good.

Also you'll want to attribute oblique and heavy shot enhance since you'll be spamming them during multi cd if you didn't take kneeling. Oblique is pretty much an 80% damage increase if there are at least 2 mobs ontop of attribute enhance which is really cheap since it's a rank 1 skill. Heavy shot is a 50% bonus to plate while also having an enhance.

Actually, thinking back on it, sometimes the movement speed becomes detrimental since it makes your pet rush into mob aoes or magic missile when you're trying to mob them up.

A few 200 dungeon runs seem to go more smoothly when I forgot to feed the pet and it ends up running slower, so I could gather up mobs more easily without the pet getting whacked. The downside is you have to wait for your pet to get into range before you rushdog > growling.

I haven't actually intentionally tried yet but maybe mobbing might be better with a slower pet.

Everytime you use a falconer skill, the bird flies away after it ends, so you have to constantly call back the bird everytime after you use a skill. Perch makes it so it flies to the perch to land instead of flying away, so you don't have to wait for the 15 sec call cd.

But circling lasts 10 secs so you'll only have a 5 sec wait on cd, if you used call just before it, and hovering with attribute lasts 19 secs so call would reset before then.

Perch is only really good if you want to spam the falconer skills but since it has short as shit range and long cd, you're stuck in 1 spot. Not to mention the bug with the bird ignoring orders while in the taking off or landing animation, it just makes the whole call/perch skill mechanic of falconer really shitty. That's why falconer is practically a 2 skill rotation class. It's why falconer is considered a support class.

The damage skills suck anyways. Pheasant will knocked everything away which is bad for mobbing. And hovering only does 8 hits in 19 secs and is only single target as well as have a knockback you can't turn off. Like your companion the bird will also attack boss traps and caltrops and shit, so it's unreliable for damage.

If you're using kneeling, you will want to max out the attribute anyways since the damage and your dex adds on to retrieve but honestly I'd rather move around and spam oblique or heavy shot which has percentage bonuses instead of auto attacking with flat damage increase not to mention being stuck in 1 spot.

Retrieve pretty much solos mobs and it lasts longer than the cd so either method is fine, it's up to your personal preference whether you'd rather be stationary or mobile.

For group mobbing though, oblique is better when your multi is on CD. Also having aoe attack ratio for multishot when circling is on CD also helps with mobbing. You can use vubbe gaunts if you're a dex build as you don't need accuracy gloves.

Seems mildly useful on bosses, but probably not worth the point.
And it's not like this build is a support in the sense of a cryochrono in that you don't do any damage at all, cause multi seems to keep pace and the fact that you're still able to stack up on strength and dex means you'll at least have some power in a party.
Still like my cryo, but it's nice being able to kill things at a good pace without being 100% reliant on pardoner buffs and one moderate cooldown skill.

IMO it has a sorta similar style to cryo3 in that you'll rush in to group mobs up and AOE CC but you're not as good as cryo3 since growling has small aoe and you have to deal with wonky pet menchanics instead of just dropping down a tree that suck everything into it, but to make up for it you get damage and mobbing power with circling + multi.

It goes really well if there's already a pelt to swashbuckle or if there's already a cryo 3 you can just circling + multi then drop growling if they somehow survive past the tree.

Mobbing with growling alone can be pretty hard at times since the aoe is small so everything has to be close. Melee mobs are easier but range mobs will tend to be spread out everywhere.

The build is pretty much a hybrid style of play but that's what makes it enjoyable, you get to do different things albeit not as good as dedicated classes.

It's up to you really, you could run the 90 dungeon and hope to get an arde or if you're really desperate for one you can trade it earlier, then if you get a drop, just sell it again.

Arde would help your cryo when soloing too, so it's always useful.

You can solo rush the 90 dungeon boss with hunter's snatching with the anti air attribute, but the hard part is making sure your pet targets the the boss instead of the traps he drops all around him and then not getting killed by the mobs/boss aoe when snatching is doing it's thing.

I usually just run up to the boss asap and as soon as the pet gets in range > snatching and then jump around while the boss dies. Beware the boss aoe can stagger the pet and result in wasting your snatching, but it's good practice to get used to when your pet is going to be useless and when not to use skills when your pet is about to get hit.

This will happen alot on any kind of boss and you will blow skills entirely doing nothing since the pet got smacked before he could use his skill. Try to get used to it as soon as possible to know when you can and cannot use snatching. Also happens on 130 harpeia boss since she likes to spam her aoe knockback wind and if you miss snatching twice, it's a 25 sec cd until you can try again.
