I keep getting random invites from various members throughout the day without them even asking me if I'm looking for a guild or if I want to join, or giving me any information about it. It's just a random invite out of nowhere, several times each day.

I will be looking for a guild soon, but I want to ask around and look at my options first before choosing one, but I've gotten a least a dozen invites from this one particular guild, Mojotrollz, and when I decline it the same person throws me an invite again, usually several times. Because very few people want to raid for over half the week I'd imagine. Even in <wpsg> it wasn't that common for us to do both 10 and 25 man Ulduars in the same week until way later on.

The <You> core is more than good enough to have an Algalon 10 kill by now but I can barely stomach raiding 2 days a week with my work schedule so tack on even more and it's just not realistic. Pretty much have to choose between 10 and 25 man progression with /wpsg/.

People stopped showing up for them, and a lot of the core geared/skilled players especially weren't there. The timing made it kind of rough considering we were 4 hours a day three days a week already.
It's likely 10 mans will start back up if 25s collapse, which we're on the road to with the general lack of enthusiasm for ulduar that most of the guild has. I would say somewhere around 75-85% of the guild really doesn't care about hard modes at all to be perfectly frank.

You failed at finishing the 10 man hard modes and doing any other than FL+4 because you don't know how to lead a raid. We didn't even attempt FL+4 last week in <You> because everyone knew it would take hours to do. Us? FL+4 is actually Blizzlike in the sense that he pulls after the 2nd giant near his gate dies and we fucked up the pull. Still downed it, 1 shot. After half the raid only ever doing it once.

We're getting speedkill achievements like Heartbreaker and Hodir HM, within 5 attempts of ICHM, and 1-2 away from Thorim HM (which we should have gotten admittedly, but a melee kept getting hit by lightning and soaking up my healing) in a raid that has way less gear than yours did. I'm still tanking in blues.

You know how we did it? I actually know how to lead a raid. I guarantee we're pushing about twice as many pulls as <You> did in a single raid, and our raiders know more about the fights than most people who've been raiding Ulduar with <You> for weeks.

Your hardmode groups and 25 mans sucked because your Meer 2.0 clique, for the most part, sucks. You suck at explaining fights, you suck at keeping momentum going, you suck at raid leading. As such, people don't show up because holy fucking shit that's boring/annoying. One of the people we had in our 10 man this week was in <You> a lot longer than me, and he's one of the people that went afk all the time or didn't show up to raids. Guess how many times he went afk yesterday? Once, during our 5min break He was back in time, we killed Hodir HM and got Thorim HM to 150k hp, and he was a great asset to the raid doing things before I even called for it. So if we have several <You> players doing all this undergeared, what does that tell you?

Much much worse than paladin if played badly, way better than every tank if played correctly.

Protection warrior design is pretty complex in cata and changed A FUCKTON compared to wotlk. That's why prot cata was very, very hard to emulate on private servers. For instance, if you rolled prot warr on Molten Cata you were getting whispers from people laughing at you. It was that gimped. It was that broken.
Not as long as six months ago? the situation was very similar on Atlantiss. Mastery, the most important stat for prot warrior in cata, was completely fucking broken. Didn't give you crit block when going over 'cap'. Since then they 'fixed' it, at least they say that they fixed it, but you see, there is this problem in cata, where there is no option in UI to retrieve your current, actual crit block chance at any given moment (during talent procs, trinket procs, etc.) Playing on retail, you just knew that blizz got the math right. On private cata servers… Can you really trust devs that didn’t code half of mastery’s functionality and haven’t noticed it for 3 fucking years? All cata projects are closed source so you have no way of checking it for yourself either.
That is one major issue, but there’s more. I recommend you comparing your stats with Rawr 4.3.4. Equip your gear, spec prot, get your buffs right. Notice something funky? Yeah, your character on Atlantiss misses around ~5 percent points of raw mitigation stats. (Until recently you could be missing 1-2 percent point more of these stats because – turns out - they didn’t calculate it in floats, haha!) You know, these stats are the most important stats for a prot warrior in cata. The stats that get more value whenever you go over ‘cap’, whenever you have more of them. Well, so why is this still bugged? Ratings, talents, stats, gear bug? You have no way of learning that, you have no way of reporting that.

But wait, there is more. Do you see that number next to “armor” in your rawr? It also doesn’t check out with Atlantiss, does it. But why? How could they fuck-up something as trivial as summing up armor from all of your item slots? The solution is there, on the bugtracker, it’s been there for 1 year now with one dev saying they can’t be arsed to fix it. Atlantiss doesn’t properly calculate armor for warriors wearing shields. They just don’t count the shield when calculating bonuses from talents haha.
But by far the most frustrating thing for me was that I never could fucking thunderclap Onyxia, Nefarian and Ragnaros. You just don’t apply 20% attack speed debuff to the most hard hitting bosses on Atlantiss, fucking deal with, OK? Out of range. No rend uptime for you either, fuck off.
Now I also read that they recently somewhat fixed rage generation for all warriors and you finally get rage from taking DOT damage. After 4 years. Bravo Atlantiss.
