>"Naruto, you have no idea what secrets the Village has been keeping from you," Mizuki said.

>"N-No! Don't!" Iruka shouted.

>Not like this. Naruto can't find out this way.

>"12 years ago . . . you know about the Nine-Tails being killed by the Fourth Hokage?"

>Iruka couldn't move. Shurikenjutsu had always been Mizuki's specialty, and although he had missed Iruka's vitals, he pinned several chakra points and restricted Iruka's movements.

>Run, Naruto. Get away.

>The boy stood there, frozen, staring at the white haired Chunin, perhaps too shocked to properly understand everything he was hearing.

>But even as Iruka hoped Naruto would escape, a small part of him was feeling . . . what was it? A small sense of relief. A burden that had been weighing on him ever since the day he took the Academy Teacher position and Naruto became his student lifting.

>It wasn't right for Naruto to learn this way, but it wasn't right--

>--"Iruka sensei, can I have another bowl of ramen?"

>"What's that?" he said.

>"Hey, you promised me another round of ramen. As a graduation gift," Naruto said.

>They were sitting at Ichiraku Ramen. His treat. Two empty bowls were in front of Naruto and the smell of fresh pork filled the air as other civilians and Shinobi walked by into the night.

>That's right. It's over. Naruto is safe.

>They were no longer in the forest. Iruka's wound had been treated, Mizuki was in custody, and Naruto, amazing Naruto had defeated him with a forbidden Jutsu and a power Iruka had never seen before.

>He took a deep breath and considered his options. More importantly, he considered what he owed Naruto.

>"Naruto," Iruka said, turning to face his student.
>>
>>147405737
Continued

>Naruto's eyes were bright and jubilant, nothing like the hardened determination Iruka had witnessed when the young boy faced down a Shinobi on his level. If anything, they were almost messy. Naruto's round face was covered with Ramen broth, even his whispers were dripping.

>Iruka sighed.

>"Huh? You okay, Iruka sensei?" Naruto said.

>"Eat up, Naruto. You'll need your strength as a fully active Genin, so the next three rounds are on me."

>Naruto laughed. "You can count on me, Sensei."

>He couldn't tell him. No matter how badly Iruka wished to tell Naruto the whole truth, he knew he couldn't. It was too dangerous for Naruto.

>It's just too dangerous for the Fire Country.

Alright. I guess this is the first taste of autism I mentioned last thread. Did this spark anyone's curiosity?
>>
>>147405737
>>147405960

are you the anon who's planning on doing an entire rewrite of Naruto with something altered? Was it that Naruto doesn't find out about his demon fox? Can't remember. Anyway it looks really interesting. Just two things:

>and Naruto, amazing Naruto had defeated him with a forbidden Jutsu and a power Iruka had never seen before
not sure what's going on there, obviously you're saying Naruto became genin and Iruka was amazed but some words were dropped

>even his whispers were dripping
Obviously meant to be whiskers

But those are just minor details, overall it's well written and it's nice to get a fresh new look on the series

Yeah, I'm that anon. I didn't give away the "plot" yet. What I'm working with from this part is:

>Cover story: The Nine-Tails was killed by the Fourth Hokage.

General public outside of Konoha more or less accepts it, though there are suspicions. The Nine-Tails appears like a disaster in its territory and disappears for years or decades at a time without a trace.

Where Tailed Beasts and Jinchuuriki are concerned, Naruto is the fourth Jinchuuriki and the first Nine-Tails Jinchuuriki.

>Classified #1: Everyone in Konoha Chunin+ or 18+ was told that Naruto is the Nine-Tails without his memories or power.

>Classified #2: Only the Heads of The Land of Fire and Shinobi personally involved with Naruto (teachers) are aware of his true (canon) identity.

^I wonder if I should separate the civilians from Shinobi or keep it as is. I'm still bouncing that around.

>Top Secret: This was decided by the Governing Body of the Land of Fire, The Fire Daimyo, The Third Hokage, Danzo, Homura, and Kohura in a 3 to 2 vote, within days after the Kyuubi attack.

Also,

MD1: Yeah, I was saying Naruto, that coolest guy Naruto, pushed Tony the Tiger's shit in with a new Jutsu and strength.

MD2: Yeah, I feel stupid.
>>
>>147408147
Sounds genuinely interesting anon, it'll be fun seeing what you come up with for how these changes impact on the story. As for the things I pointed out I wouldn't worry about shit like whispers instead of whiskers, people don't really care, but yeah that other sentence was pretty confusing. Just decided to point it out if you're planning on putting it up somewhere else or needed a hand proof-reading.

I'm getting a PSP soon, and I figured I'd get one of these as a lighter alternative to the plotty games I'm getting. Are there many naruto games for PSP? What's the best one? Why?

Dunno. I haven't kept up with Kishimoto at all. I remember him saying he was looking at releasing a new one, but I didn't hear any more about it than that.

Will he have time if he's still supervising Boruto?

Also, why do you think Boruto was made monthly? To give Assistant-kun time to practice, or just because people might not be as into Boruto as they were into Naruto?

>Chakra and the history of ninjutsu is fully explored
Thrown in explanations/excuses at the very end to allow Kishi to do whatever pottery he was wanting to do is not an exploration of a concept.
Earlier ideas regarding it are thrown right out (spiritual+mental enery, rotation type as told by your hair's 'rotation', enough chara being used for it to be visible being a big enough deal that the veteran Zabuza lost his shit over it, hell, even the elemental shit loses relevance pretty damn quicly). If the Sage, Kaguya etc were ideas he'd have had earlier, then he was again showing how poor his world building skills are by not subtly hinting at it (i.e. word usage, paintings, statues of the great figures of legend, thoughts of how their actions would impact the world even generations later).

>the history of villages, much of how villages interact
We've seen two Gokage meetings, one in a flashback. Tsunade once called in for reinforcements from the Sand and sent Nardo et al to their rescue one other time. Hardly the deepest look into their interactions.

>we should discover this information naturally
There's nothing depicting how the villages interact with their respective Nations beyond the Land of Wind fucking Suna over, how missions and contracts are handled. Because there are barely any real, proper mercenary type missions, we never get to see the world and the mechanics that make the wheels turn. We get an incredibly basic idea from the beginning of the Wave mission sure, but not much beyond that. The result is a world where missions might as well grow from trees, where we barely know anything of the Land of Fire, or even the more intricate details of how the clans within Konoha work.

>Kishimoto
>creative
'Creative' is a funny concept. A lot of creativity is about twisting existing cultural shit or the wors of others and presenting it in a new way, and sure, Kishi does plenty of that. But like I said, that is surface level. I'm not asking that the man go full on Tolkien here, but at the very least spare a thought before spouting ridiculous things like SIX HUNDRED BILLION EXPLOSIVE TAGS or indeed the Kote, to think through what preparations would be needed, how the world would react to it.

If Kishi was the kind of genius you seem to regard him as, with the kind of clarity of vision needed of an auteur, he'd know immediately what is where it is and why, how it interacts with everything else.

As is, like I said, Kishi just thinks of shit he thinks would be cool and contrives things so that they can happen. Then when inevitably he writes himself into a corner, he retcons, blatantly ignores parts of lore, invents new powers for the Sharingan at a dime.

>A story is driven by the overall plot and the characters are just there to service the plot.
Well, I could not disagree with you any more either. A plot without characters is a meaningless chain of events that might as well happen to unidentifiable gray blobs.

Characters, individuals are the key in any story, otherwise that story will inevitably just devolve into a mess of contrived events with no weight, driven by pure, unadulterated "It Just Happens, Okay?".

>>147423770

Any good writer will have no trouble combining the plot and story they want to tell with characters whose motivations are grounded in the world and fit where the story wants to go, and if you are claiming Kishi is somehow some big genius, he too should be capable of living up to this standard of bare-bone competence.
But he is not only not a genius and an auteur, but a talentless fucking hack, so of course he can't.

>I see no obligation to explore characters thoroughly that don't service the plot.
Again you have it backwards. Characters are what make a plot happen and give substance to any story, so the introduction and handling of both main and secondary cast is extremely important. If you are introducing someone, their appearance should make the appropriate impact on the plot, otherwise you are wasting people's time. It does not have to be big by all means, I've no problems with the introduction of, say, Kiba, but if you decide to have as much focus away from the protagonist(s) as Nardo did, at the very least you should center that time on the established secondary cast, instead of coing up yet more throwaway characters.

Chouji's Chocolate Waifu and her team are completely pointless, for instance, and any creative writer would have found a way to tie in the existing cast to the minor conflict they brought, making the story a bit tighter.
Alternatively bring in the new team, but make the tensions they brought more significant, involve them later on, fucking make something of them if you've bothered to create them in the first place. At the very least killing them off could have had an impact and made the war feel more real, as semi-known characters.
>>
>>147423770
Why should that matter?

This series is aimed at shonen, and they don't even care for explanation that go beyond seeing flashy shit happen.
>>
>>147423863
So in closing I must completely disagree with the idea that plot is above all.

But even if that were the case, Kishi's plot is nowhere near solid or coherent enough for it to make sense that it somehow subugates everything else, when characterisation of ey players like Itachi is clearly all over the place, going right against what should have happened if all was in service of some grand, pre-conceived plan of the story.

here's a question for y'all - what's Hagoromo's first appearance? I remember seeing his shadow a couple of times but can't remember when. Could we have seen him as early as part 1?

>>147423683
>spiritual+mental enery, rotation type as told by your hair's 'rotation', enough chara being used for it to be visible being a big enough deal that the veteran Zabuza lost his shit over it, hell, even the elemental shit loses relevance pretty damn quicly

I don't see how these are undone by the additional exposition later one, and although the origins of chakra chakra are explored with the emergence of Kaguya much of the mysticism still remains (so I guess it's NOT fully explored). I don't see where you're getting that "explanations/excuses" of these two concepts contribute to the poetry aspect of the series also, they're pretty much much straight-up explanations of what happened that are given to service the raw plot.

> If the Sage, Kaguya etc were ideas he'd have had earlier... not subtly hinting at it

I'll agree that the foreshadowing of Kaguya's resurrection was well too late in coming but we knew for a long time that Hagoromo would appear in some fashion, they referred to him multiple times even before the Fourth Shinobi War. And I have no proof of thise but I believe Kishi had the transmigrant chakra planned at least since Naruto and Sasuke's first fight at The Valley of the End.

>We've seen two Gokage meetings etc.
You're ignoring many indirect insights how other villages operate. I mean, you didn't even mention the Konoha Invasion arc which tells us everything we need to know about the state Sunagakure is in. Even as early as the first arc in The Land of Waves we're given backstory relating to other villages through Zabuza's history. I could come up with examples for almost every arc.

>There's nothing depicting how the villages interact... Land of Waves etc.
As you admit The Land of Waves explores how general missions are set up and handled. As well as that it introduces us to the 4-man squad unit, to the relationships between Naruto and Sasuke, to the basics of ninjutsu and chakr, to the sharingan and probably 20 other things.. This arc doesn't serve the overall plot beyond giving us a basic overview of important concepts for later on. The main story of Naruto's about friendship, reincarnation and destiny but really it can be said that it's about the inevitable conflict between Naruto and Sasuke that's been predestined since birth. What we see in between is just a set of events that happen to take place in between. What I'm trying to say is that you should be thankful he took the time got sidetracked and gave us all of part 1 for exposition. Part 1 is a text-book example of what a prologue, it's not the meat of the story but it's the bare essentials for making it through.

> A lot of creativity is about twisting existing cultural shit etc.
admittedly I don't know how much of Naruto is thought up out of nowhere , I can imagine he borrowed pieces from Japanese folklore. I've always assumed it's largely original though. And no matter how revolutionary Tolkien was, even he borrowed much from the works of his predecessors

And yeah, obviously we're not going to agree on what makes a plot and the role of characters in the plot. Most good stories for me aren't about characters interacting with each other, they're about often uncontrollable events that take place and depending on what group of characters the plot is using to advance the story, we see how these events affect a limited number of characters. The plot is about the event, the characters are just story-telling tools and not the story itself.

>Any good writer will have no trouble combining the plot and story they want to tell with characters whose motivations are grounded in the world and fit where the story wants to go
I feel Kishi accomplished, with maybe too much exposition given to a few side characters even though I enjoyed it. Neji, Shikamaru and Choji's story arcs were unecessary and counterproductive, should've been anime exclusive and not in the manga(and Choji's one where he turned into a butterfly was crap to be honest).

>Chouji's Chocolate Waifu and her team are completely pointless
largely pointless, yeah, which is why Kishi made the right decision giving them next to no character development. Only significant thing they did was beat up Naruto which was servicing the overall plot.

If you reply I also might take a while getting back to you, getting pretty tired.

thanks anon. So not quite part 1, but still a good 300 chapters foreshadowing.

I think I was getting mixed up with a shadow we see of Pain during an Akatsuki meeting in Part 1. I believe it wasn't in the manga but they had it in the anime, maybe even before he's shown in the manga in real world release dates.

>I don't see where you're getting that "explanations/excuses" of these two concepts contribute to the poetry aspect of the series
Look, the initial point you were making was that Kishi is some sort of narrative genius and auteur.
To me, that is a very, very exclusive club and Kishi is not only unworthy of being a member of it, he is unworthy of licking a member's boot.

An auteur genius should have a crystal clear vision of he series, of every tiny detail as part of their grand vision, hence the absolute refusal for anyone to change anything.
My assertion was that Kishi's reluctance to change has nothing to do with any of the above, merely stubbornness and a wish to retain the ability to asspull whatever he wanted.

The chakra mechanic, a consistent thing throughout the series, but aspects of it shown as incredibly relevant, the quality, quantity and nature of it, and their respective relevancies are clearly changed relatively freely to suit a later need to asspull.

What this shows is that contrary to your claim of Kishi being someone with a consistent vision, he's mucking about. Nothing wrong with that, necessarily but it does remove him from the category you said he was a part of.

The stuff about Kaguya etc, show a fundamental shift in what's being done: what established the world and mystique of the series was Minato's sealing of the Fox, which by the end was reduced to a minor side detail, more or less unaddressed by the protagonist in his confrontation with the villain responsible for that crisis.
An auteur would have started bang on with the greater stuff right at the very start, but we both know Kishi hadn't thought of any of that back then. Which is okay, to some degree anyway, but again it makes him not an auteur.

As for the world building, I am not saying we didn't learn ANYTHING, just not nearly enough for your claim of a well-build, lived-in world to be true at all.

How do civilians live in this world, how do the Elemental Nations and petty kingdoms interact, what is the role of shinobi between them? What are the individual cultures of the villages? Where are the major cities, how does trade work? What of crime syndicates like Gato's, or other shady shit?

I am not asking all and every one of these to be answered to satisfaction. But these, as well as a lot of others, could have been answered to actually build the world in missions, except the direction of the series went off kilter after the Chuunin Exams.

Sure, we had some of what I hesitate to even call foreshadowing with the PARALLELS with the Sannin, Sauce was about to fuck off and be a traitorous little shit.
But your view of the series is tainted by hindsight. At the very start there was no talk of reincarnation or even destiny (connected to Sauce at any rate) like an autor's work would have been, it was simply about Naruto, the Fox and the Fourth's actions resulting in his plight.

Hell, the very existence of Sasuke is proof Kishi's vision is far from the crystalline structure you claim it to be, as we all know both Sasuke and Sakura were additions prompted by the editor, to bring a rival and a shitty love triangle. If Kishi were an auteur he would have clung to his vision, but he did not.

So we got a series that might as well have been renamed Sasuke.
Themes came and went as the series squirmed around, looking for direction and failing to find it, a story about friendships became a story focused about one very specific friendship which turned out to be an at best really fucking weird and uncomfortable, with spiritual brotherhood or whatnot. All dragged in hundreds and hundreds of chapters after the series' beginning.
For someone with the amazing foresight and stubborn loyality for his vision you portray Kishi as, he practically let an editor's suggestion barge in and face-fuck the very premise of the series.

And why was that? Because Kishi could not keep the themes consistent, because he is not a genius or an auteur.

On another note for your claim of a sacrosanct Plot everything else is subservient to, the series you are praising doesn't exactly live up to that ideal, as his treason did fuck all for Sauce to actually beat Itachi (and Kishi's boner for the bastard meant that in order to glorify his favourite character further, the plot's swing had to be sacrificed, making so that a key victory that sent the rest of the plot soaring was in fact weakened with Ninja AIDS and Itachi letting Sauce win).

>Land of Waves arc
>This arc doesn't serve the overall plot beyond giving us a basic overview of important concepts for later on.
Incidentally this arc is still thought of as the very best arc of the series, and arguably the only really worthwhile part. Funny, isn't it?

>admittedly I don't know how much of Naruto is thought up out of nowhere , I can imagine he borrowed pieces from Japanese folklore
From names to concepts and religious stuff, it's basically almost all not his own, original work. It's as generic as your noname Tolkien-esque Western fantasy, admittedly with a couple of interesting twists of its own.

>no matter how revolutionary Tolkien was, even he borrowed much
And I did not say there is anything wrong with that. Shoulders of giants and all of that. The difference is that one man committed decades to meticulous, deep thinking of an amazing, chronologically/mythologically as well as geologically sprawling world, with heroes of every era and undescribable detail of pretyt much everything, from famously inventing languages to geographic considerations and larger motions of history to the type of tobacco Hobbits liked to smoke. The other man, meanwhile, couldn't be bothered to even mention the origins of why the Elemental Nations are named after, well, the chakra natures.

To me, there are very, very few works of fiction that have a truly well developed world, and Naruto's sure as shit does not make the cut. Nothing really wrong with that, especially given the audience, but it does show how Kishi compares to actual genius.

>The plot is about the event, the characters are just story-telling tools and not the story itself.
Well, I can appreciate a 'story' of a war between ant hills, but for it to be fundamentally worthwhile, there has to be a human connection.
I mean, did you appreciate the Star Wars Prequels' battles between robots and identical clones, with the occasional Jedi effortlessly hacking through them?
Obviously we will not agree, but still, to me that fucking weird, man.

>largely pointless, yeah, which is why Kishi made the right decision giving them next to no character development.
Which, to me is why they either should not have been involved in the first place and their contribution given to someone else in the secondary cast, or once introduced, made into real characters with weight and impact.

I don't know what you too are really discussing, but anyone who defends the reincarnation bullshit is wrong.

Even if it had somehow been handled well (Which is clearly NOT ther case) it was still ill conceived in order to keep Naruto and Sauske more relevant to the world he's created than literally anyone else.

Theat move alone relegated everybody other than those two and the main antagonists to fodder level.

Japan's weird. It's supposed to be this collectivist society, in contrast with the highly individualistic United States, and the motto of Shonen Jump "Friendship, Effort, Victory," reflects this, but the conflicts within their stories are constantly being solved through the talent of a single person, apparent with Ninja Jesus, but even more so as Madara singlehandedly solo'd the Jobber Alliance. Watch The Avengers or anything involving the Justice League, in contrast, and it actually seems like a team effort, with even people like Batman finding use in a group of gods.

And as for "effort" meaning anything, we all know that's bullshit in regard to not only Naruto but within battle shounen as a genre. The supposedly important "friendships" displayed with Shonen Jump's stuff only appear to exist so that they'll be characters to cheer on the MC.

I think I'd sooner believe that Kishi buys into what Madara has to say than that he genuinely buys into the purpose behind Kakashi's initial bell test (although the later is actually more relevant to the real world, in which one person can't solo an army).

Might as well ask for the entire series remastered in the storm 4 engine.

It's a real downer, how much the Japs dislike PC.
I've never played too much in the way of JRPGs and the like, nor have many other people in the regions where it dominates, but part of the reason is that they won't port them in the first place.
The whole Japan/console only approach makes it a small wonder we have as much stuff from them as we do.

I really need to stop coming on here right before bed. I had a dream where some guy I know IRL was dating Hinata, and I was super upset about it because I liked her as well, and over the course of the dream we started hanging out more and she decided to be with me, and then I woke up and felt sad because none of it was real.

Those sorts of dreams are normally about my ex, wtf is even happening

Second one was less Naruto related, but a bit cooler.

Fuck

Is one of the guys who put the list together here? How should I handle this
>>
>>147453065
I do not understand at all what's happening here.
>>
>>147477036
Why don't you just put the Suptg link either in the list or in the OP? Not like it has to be formated on ff.net or in Word or anything. Some people would want to see the autistic suggestions of some of the players.
>>
>>147477372
I wasn't planning on rewriting it or anything, I just wasn't sure whether to try and fit it to the list's fanfic criteria, or give it some kind of unique format, and how I should go about that. It's kind of different from the rest of the stuff on the list, so I wasn't sure

As for putting the link right in the OP, I don't know how I feel about shilling it quite that hard
>>
>>147477731
Just toss it in the list with a footnote explaining that it's a player-driven quest from /tg/ then
>>
>>147477854
Really, between this, the rewrites and that fanfic we might need to make a new category of stuff made by the general.
Wasn't there one more, with an anon doing a crossover between Nardo and DB Xenoverse?
>>

>>
>>147478630
>>147479253
So would fanfics written by general goers be moved to that section, or would we leave them be? Let the author choose? And should we consolidate some things like the rewrite and tabletop summaries in that section? Would the inclusion of such a section still be fitting of a document called /nsunsg/-approved fanfiction? Would it go between the fanfic and doujinshi sections, or at the top?

Asking the tough questions here
>>
>>147479821
It's quarter to midday for me. Still got a fuckload to pack. But first, Subway.
>>
>>147480905
Leave the link as-is, and just make a new section at the top called /nsunsg/-written content. Put our stuff first, separate from the rest, and then the rest of the fanfiction below it. It doesn't matter if it's not really fanfiction, since if people don't wanna read it they won't.

The summary already has a separate link in the OP though.

Yeah, pretty much. The red and black design fits better in my opinion, though. Also, I would have liked him to have had it for the rest of the "main story", so to say.
>>
>>147481581
I wonder why Kishi dropped it.
Either he was too lazy to draw it, the editors worried the new design would hurt sales, or perhaps Kishi was worried some people might think Naruto was cooler than Sauce with his new robe-scroll combo.
We all know the last possibility would keep him up at night.

I've always felt that the cloak and scroll were meant to be Naruto's way of paying homage to the 4th and Jiraiya respectively, as well as visual shorthand signifying Naruto was now kage-tier due to the undeniable resemblance Naruto's cloak shared with the 4th's. After the arc Kishi might have felt it had no place in the story as it might feel as though Naruto was showing off his advanced status by wearing that everywhere. The way I see it, that cloak and scroll was Naruto's "Avenger-Protector" costume, which he discarded after he learnt that vengeance would only contribute to the cycle of hatred. Really, there are a litany of reasons as t why Kishi ditched the robe and scroll

He's probably not even affiliated with Konoha anymore. He doesn't wear the headband - hell, he gave it to Boruto - so the closest approximation would likely be a masterless Ronin who just travels the world, doing whatever he wants.

Which I think suits him pretty well to be honest.

'''''family'''''

He wandered various dimensions for over a decade. He told Naruto about the Ootsutsukis because literally nobody else knows shit about them.

I think he, as an individual, not part of the Uchiha 'clan', is unaffiliated with a Village, by and large. He's more concerned with keeping the world safe as a whole. If he didn't want to do something Naruto told him to, he just wouldn't do it.

In the beggining of Part 2 Naruto was 15 and the end he turned 17
So yeah could be loose canon
>>
>>147501017
in the movie Naruto has already met his mother and mastered tailed beast mode. This celebrating his 17th birthday, which is the same as at the end of the mangaso it just makes everything confusing as Hell as to which is the real birthday. I thought Naruto mastering tailed-beast mode, Naruto mastering Kurama mode and Naruto getting Six Paths Sage Mode as well as most of the war in general largely happened in a single day so it's also odd the ninja war was just called off for the events of the movie.

Killing people is morally wrong, regardless of outcome.

Furthermore, he's clearly not THAT smart, or he wouldn't have bothered waiting for Hiruzen's say so to get Shisui to blast the clan with Kotoamatsukami. It's easier to be forgiveness than to ask permission, especially when there's not longer a threat of an impeding coup.

it was on the orders of the village that he murdered, also he despised himself for it and lived a horrible life for it. He understood everything and made the most selfless and debateably the most good intention decision that was available. I was making a stretch to say he's the same as Naruto, they're very different but he's another kind of morally perfect character. Itachi's more lawful good whereas Naruto's true or chaotic good.

So yeah Itachi's a Mary Sue and only thing stopping Naruto from being one is that he's an idiot.

This is obviously just in reference to morality, not how powerful they are.
>>
>>147504018
> he did it on the orders of the Village
He did it on the orders of Danzo and Obito, neither of which are the Hokage, and neither of which are immune to Kotoamatsukami, of which he still had one unblockable use of.

> good intentioned decision available
Again, literally EVERYTHING could've been changed if he had just fucking used Kotoamatsukami. Hell, he fucking had Tsukuyomi then, ANOTHER unblockable Genjutsu. Cast it on Obito, and fucking shank him while he was comatose.

Itachi is Chaotic Good if anything. Or Lawful Evil.
>>
>>147504656
I was pretty sure they put it up to a vote with Danzo, Hiruzen and the two advisors, no? And it was 3 against 1?

Also he couldn't use Kotoamatsukami on his entire clan in one use so it's not a viable option. Only actions I can think of that might not have been lawful good were when he was undermining Danzo (keeping Shisui's eye, showing up in Konoha to make sure Sasuke would remain safe).
>>
>>147505097
Hiruzen is still the Hokage and can veto any vote. If he wasn't such a spineless faggot and terrible Hokage, he would've exercised his fiat, said "Danzo, you're under house arrest because you seem WAY too keen to murder an entire clan, I've had reports of you being seen in Ame just before the Third Shinobi World War, which is weird because I'm sure I don't recall deploying you there, and I'm also going to get a medical professional to take a look at that arm that you keep bandaged and locked under Uzumaki-tier sealing bolts. Homura, Koharu, I love you both, but Tobirama-sensei made me Hokage, not you. Thank you for your input, but I'm not going to murder an entire fucking clan on your say-so. I'm gonna give the ok to to Shisui and Itachi to use Kotoamatsukami, and if that doesn't work, we'll re-evaluate from there."

Also, he could've simply gathered them all for a clan meeting. As a double-agent, he could simply tell Fugaku that he has urgent information that the entire clan needs to hear, and then use it on all of them. It doesn't need eye contact, so he could literally scan the room and look at each of them in turn with it active, only letting the jutsu end when he's used it on them all. It doesn't even need to be EVERY Uchiha, just a majority would be enough to make the others settle, and if the others DON'T settle, then Konoha still has HALF the Uchiha clan on their side.
>>
>>147505465
Yeah Hiruzen fucked up, but that doesn't change the fact that he accepted the vote. So it's under official Hokage orders.

On the Kotoamatsukami, is it really any better using that than someone like Madara using Infinite Tsukuyomi to make everyone's dreams come true? Kotoamatsukami is essentially making them a slave to your will and is even more villainous (obviously better than murder though).

I actually don't remember a vote in the manga, so if you're able to find that, that'll be tops. I remember Hiruzen saying "I'm going to think about it", and Danzo going "haha yeah alright also Shisui gimme your eye also also Itachi murder your clan", and Obito coming in and going "yeah dude murder your clan".

It's partly why Hiruzen shut down ROOT. He didn't like that Danzo had his own unit operating outside Hokage jurisdiction. Of course, it didn't help, because Hiruzen was getting senile in his old age and couldn't be fucked checking if Danzo actually did what he was told to or not.

It's probably not any better that the IT, no. Only difference is that literally the only person who knows it's been used is the user. The person continues on with their actual life, as normal, thinking their normal thoughts apart from ones that would countermand the order.

Arguably NOT running against Hillary would be harder for him.

He's got next to no real baggage, compared to everyone else even thinking of running for POTUS, and he is willing to bring up all the worst things, and near-treasonous shit the Clintons have done. Meanwhile the most damning thing anyone's managed to bring up against him was that forty years ago a subcontractor he hired brought in Polish illegals.

Plus think of all the Bernouts who were clutching onto the last ray of hope with this investigation, and how incredibly easy it is to turn substantial amounts of them to vote, well, if not for Trump necessarily, then against Hillary, just by pointing out the rigged and corrupt system.

What has he said about his taxation plans specifically that makes you think this? And even if he does give tax breaks, why is that a bad thing? Taxes are immoral to begin with, and the current system is undermining growth.

>Belief that global warming is a hoax
Again, where did he say that? Are you talking about actual denying of a tendency, or questioning how much of it is anthropogenic and not caused, say, by the cycles of solar activity that causes warming to occur elsewhere in the solar system too?

>strong supporter of torture and war crimes
He said a couple of positive things about waterboarding. And you know what? ISIS agents and captive fighters deserve worse for one thing, it's stuff that's being done on the quiet anyway and given his general policy of non-intervention there might actually be a net reduction of it under him.

>Anti-vaxxer
Wasn't that like a single tweet blown out of proportion? Potentially a weak area, but not one that is absolutely critical.

>Supreme court judges picked from a list by the heritage foundation
The Heritage Foundation is an American conservative think tank based in Washington, D.C. The foundation took a leading role in the conservative movement during the presidency of Ronald Reagan, whose policies were taken from Heritage's policy study Mandate for Leadership.[2] Heritage has since continued to have a significant influence in U.S. public policy making, and is considered to be one of the most influential conservative research organizations in the United States.[3]

What's so bad about this?

>Again, where did he say that? Are you talking about actual denying of a tendency, or questioning how much of it is anthropogenic and not caused, say, by the cycles of solar activity that causes warming to occur elsewhere in the solar system too?

Nope. He straight up says it's not real.

http://ecowatch.com/2015/10/19/donald-trump-climate-change-tweets/

Also, anthropogenic climate change is inarguably true. You really have to be delusional to believe otherwise.

Says you and what magic crystal ball, mate?

How do you not understand that Trump said all of those inflammatory things PURELY so people would talk about him? He got literally free advertising by saying 'Haha bomb combatant's families!', and then actually mentioned policies that made sense while the spotlight was on him.

You don't become a multi-billionaire by being a retard. Odds are he's a great deal smarter than you and me put together.

Trump will become president, he'll fix America, and you bleeding heart liberals will continue to find things to complain about.

Also, that last guy who replied wasn't me.

It takes a fucking lot to get from one million to multiple billion. But whatever you say.

> you mean rich America
I mean all America. Do you genuinely think the country will be better off while it's at war with the Middle East, and Russia, and China at the same time, run by a woman who knowingly broke the law and allowed confidential files to get leaked to America's enemies, and then still managed to avoid being indicted, and has no regard for the lives of Americans under her, happily willing to trade lives and rights for money, saying how empowering it'll be to be the first woman president, and then turning around and cutting deals with leaders of countries where women are sold as sex slaves, or murdered, or have their rights as human beings taken from them? Under a woman who was begged for security and assistance, and who deleted that man's emails and slept easily in her bed while he was murdered, before putting on her 'sad face' and proclaiming what a terrible tragedy occurred?

Whatever, dude. You have whatever political views you want. I thought Trump was going to run America into the ground, but seeing what his main competition is, I hope to fucking God he wins. For all your sakes, whether you want it or not.

>There's no reasoning with you.
Well, I can see nothing but a a veritable ocean of reasoning occurring with you, clearly.

Taxation is immoral and impractical. The really big guys get out from under much of it anyway, it chases money into speculative investment, off-shore accounts and outsourcing just so it isn't stolen by the state. It puts incentives on being a corrupt fuck and buying off politicians.
Reduction of the taxes on the rich might cost tax revenue, yes, but for one thing the people who actually make that money spending it is far preferable to the state doing so, and for another it eases off the pressures on businesses to buy politicians to shield themselves, resulting in an overall better system.

>anthropogenic climate change is inarguably true
I feel a figure of 97% creeping up in the future. Because science, as we all know, is decided by consensus (even though that figure is blatantly false).

>killing combatants' families.
Or presenting a threat against them at any rate. This is shit already in practice at any rate, much like torture. Having it clearly on the table, that yes, this is a thing of war is nasty, but better than doing it hush-hush.
And as I said, his general policy is non-interference, so compared to the rule of some hawkish bitch, there would be less of both overall.

>vaccines are absolutely critical
What are you referring to, exactly? Governmentally forced vaccinations? People who want them can get them, so from there it is simply up to everyone to convince people.

And what's wrong with supreme court judges being recommended by a respected organisation of conservatives?
I am not an American, but I really don't see anything wrong with that.

Ultimately all of these are minor stuff and not at all what people support Trump for in the first place. Like that other anon said, most of these are tweets, part for fun, part for duping media, and you should base your attacks instead on his relased policies.

Funny, then, that it helps the masses (moral) and has worked for 240 years (practical).

This is the point of high taxes. It incentivizes investment, not hoarding.

>Reduction of the taxes on the rich might cost tax revenue, yes, but for one thing the people who actually make that money spending it is far preferable to the state doing so
The rich hoard money, not spend it. A billion people with $5 each are going to spend more than one person with $5 billion.

>I feel a figure of 97% creeping up in the future.

>it helps the masses (moral)
Benefiting a group is not the same thing as morality, anon.

Using (governmental) power and coercion to deprive people of their property is fundamentally wrong. You could debate a flat tax all across the board, but it still relies on the initiation of force to take away stuff.

Let's put it this way: if forceful taking of property is a good and moral thing for the state (effectively a collection of individuals), then single individuals or other collections of individuals should by virtue of universalisable morals possess the same rights, no?

And why the restriction of just physical property? China already is making great strides in statism by trading in some of its citizenry's organs, so by the same process of justification, it ought to be doable too?

>has worked for 240 years
[citation needed]

>incentivises investment, not hoarding
Hoarding is good, and essential for a sound economy. And surprise surprise, if you chase people into having to invest their money into risky and shit investments, rather than the money being taken, suddenly you find your economy unbalanced as fuck.
You might as well say it's better to put your money towards buying lottery ticket than setting up a savings account.

>A billion people with $5 each are going to spend more than one person with $5 billion.
I maintain that people should spend the money they actually make, and not have the government steal it at an arbitrary point.
If the outcome of a policy beats its morality, then I propose we expand the discussion into the practicality of slavery and child labour.

Unless you have evidence that Trump would BAN vaccinations, it is wholly irrelevant.

>Putting the needs of the many over the needs of the few is.
Fuck the needs of the many if serving it involves a complete violation of the fundamental rights of ALL citizens.

The needy are best tended to by (competing) charities and individuals making the voluntary decision to help them, where there is pressure to get shit done and people out of ditches as opposed to the modern welfare state that pays off a newly created dependent class, maintaining them on some level of livable poverty with money stolen from productive industries, in exchange for votes for more leftist policies that get corrupt politicians more power.

>Taxes are the price we pay for a civil society.
I see your accusation of a false premise and raise you the same.
Taxes are as necessary to a civil society as rape is to demographic growth.

>taxes are not theft
Well, I grant you this: if we want to be pedantic it is more of a robbery than direct theft, since the use of force and threats thereof are being employed to obtain the money from the people who made it.

Try avoiding paying your taxes, meeting each level of escalation with circumvention and resistance. Eventually there WILL be guys coming after you with guns, and if you meet that level, you will be shot.

And we are talking about the morality of this, keep that in mind. There really is no big difference the mafia doing this and the state doing this.

You clearly don't get the very point of the free market, do you?
It's NOT infallible. It fails all the time, people are put out of business by someone coming along and doing it better than them.

And the topic of discussion was the morality of the situation. For all its merits and faults, believing in people's self-ownership and that they are responsible adults, the general idea of not using force against people and keeping your contracts, is a fairly fucking morally sound system.

Also, if you indeed believe the government is this superhuman creature that knows better than millions of people making their own choices day by day, that it has the right/authority/duty to impose its power and will upon its subjects to the degree where their fundamental rights can be easily discarded, then yes, I would say that the accusation of you being a fascist is pretty solid.
>>
>>147542938
>It's NOT infallible. It fails all the time, people are put out of business by someone coming along and doing it better than them.

A business failing is not what "failure of the free market" means. It means that innocents are unduly harmed by the free market because of a lack of regulation on businesses.

>For all its merits and faults
You just gloss over the faults here

>the general idea of not using force against people and keeping your contracts

The general idea is not sufficient to legislate the specifics. Corporations exerting extreme financial burden on the masses IS a use of force, but one that is acceptable to you.

>Also, if you indeed believe the government is this superhuman creature that knows better than millions of people making their own choices day by day

It's not, but it is made of people and supposed to be accountable to us, unlike a corporation, which even in its most ideal form is not accountable to the public.

> that it has the right/authority/duty to impose its power and will upon its subjects to the degree where their fundamental rights can be easily discarded, then yes, I would say that the accusation of you being a fascist is pretty solid.

"Not paying taxes but still enjoying the services paid for by those taxes" is not a fundamental right, you lunatic.

Seriously, you are so delusional. Get help.
>>
>>147543354
>It means that innocents are unduly harmed
Could you possibly be more vague? Causality is a feature of the real world, it happens whatever regulations you impose, people removed from the failures will suffer nonetheless. The only difference is that 'regulation' is a magnet for corruption and bribery, and the unscrupulous exploiting the power of government to fuck over businesses they couldn't compete against.

>Corporations exerting extreme financial burden on the masses IS a use of force, but one that is acceptable to you.
I assume you mean bailouts?
Because I am very much against those as well. it's the very same use of state power and resources plundered from the citizens, without their consent, or even worse, incurring national debt and selling off the future productivity of the unborn.

>supposed to be accountable
But it really is not, I think we can both agree on that. So it is better to keep an absolute minimum of that semi-accountable force around (for shit like diplomatic relations on the world stage, which is why I am not an AnCap), with massive, massive regulations on ITS powers than having it be more powerful, because the stronger it gets, the bigger a draw it becomes and the more in snowballs forward, eventually becoming a Big Brother avalanche.

Companies, meanwhile, are responsible to run themselves right, thus to the people they employ, their investors and the people they do business with. Not much more is needed beyond that.

>"Not paying taxes but still enjoying the services paid for by those taxes"
Those services should be replaced by superior private industrial bodies in the vast majority of the cases.
There are some services that arguably should remain under public oversight, such as the police force and courts, however that is far, far better done on the local level rather than a sweeping country level.

And you too might need some help with that wanting the government to be the daddy to make everything right for you.
>>
>>147544774
To think that regulations are not needed on the market is to ignore basically all of American history. I don't know why you think the answer to corporations having an undue influence on the government is to remove the government, not the corporations' influence.

>I don't know why you think the answer to corporations having an undue influence on the government is to remove the government, not the corporations' influence
One requires constant oversight of ridiculous amounts of people by someone completely just and unbribable, with powers that again counter the fundamental rights of the citizenry (lobbying to free speech and so on).

By contrast if you reduce government and its powers to the point where it's hardly worth the time and effort to bribe them, all you need do is axe off layers upon layers of pointless regulations and bureaucracy, putting some people out of cushy leech positions and making them take actually productive jobs.

>to ignore basically all of American history

That's how you get monopolization of public needs.

Obito Revealed aka 'muh Rin': The whole "self loathing fallen hero who gave up on his ideals" thing is what makes Obito so interesting to me.

Redeemed Obito: Obito's sacrifice is what I'm most looking forward to within the anime.

Six Paths Obito: That scene with him losing his identity was great (going by that, Obito actually lost his own self consciousness before he forgot Kakashi or Rin; Kakashi and Rin are of greater importance to Obito, and more central to who he is, than his identity as Obito is), though outside of that, I don't remember him having too many character moments here. Juubi just hands out a really boring, OP power set, as well, which was likewise a problem for Madara once he went that route, while warp eyes and phasing abilities are really fun too look at, particularly throughout the final fight in Storm 3.

My memories of Tobi and Tobi as Madara are, honestly, relatively fuzzy, since its been ages since I've gone through pre-Kage Summit Naruto.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LWRmq3mJxgc

But in retrospect, it's hilarious seeing Tobi with wacky sound effects and slapsticks antics, given how dark Obito's character went. "You called me the darkness," was also just a really great villain moment.

Also, just really like this scene with "Redeemed Obito" and really this entire chapter and heart to heart conversation between him and Kakashi. Rare moment of vulnerability that allowed us to see a different side to someone who, in the latter's case, we had followed since the beginning of the series.

>I'm just a failure but...

>How do Naruto and I differ. How did this happen?
>Obito, what I can say is that he's less likely to fail than you were. Because if he seems like he's about to stumble I'll be there to help him. He won't give up on his dreams or bow down to reality. Because he's that kind of guy. Plus his path draws in comrades. If it seems like he's about to stumble they'll be there to help him. And the more of that support there is the closer his goal becomes. That's how you differ.
>If you had trusted friends by your side your hopes would have taken shape, and perhaps you would have been able to see. That's what I believe, Obito.

There was a surprising level of foresight, on Kishimoto's part, with that footprint scene in 655's final panel re-evoking something that he had set up dozens of chapters earlier, back in 573. I feel like much of the Obito stuff, in general is like that, particularly compared to the Itachi twist, for example, which felt like a messy revision.

Obito's sharingan is the greatest in the whole Nardoverse and Obito's the greatest sharingan user

>instantly goes from mediocre taijutsu user to expert who can outperform juunin boy genius Kakahi with only 2nd stage sharingan
>loses one eye yet manages to become leader of the most powerful and notorious criminal gang in ninja land
>makes regular use of his mangekyo for 18 years without showing a single sign of oncoming blindness, even using it for travelling conveniences
>can use kamui seemingly endlessly without any strain or signs of tiredness (unlike expert Kakashi of the Sharingan who's gasping for breath after disappearing an arrow)
>never even bothers picking up Eternal Mangekyo, Sasuke or any of his other dozens of options, never bothers taking back his sharingan from Kakashi because fuck it he only needs one
>when his true dual mangekyo power is revealed it sdemonstrably the most powerful even when being used by shit-tier sharingan wielder Kakashi

how would Hashirama cells help a sharingan user? All they did for Obito was give him wood release and he only used that on the Mist ninjas.

Forgot about the close relatives thing. He still could have become infinitely more powerful by retrieving his second eye but just saw no need to because he was already the strongest.
>>
>>147587349
Hashirama's healing counteracted the blindness. It's why he was able to burn Kamui so often, for so long, without blindness. It's not because of him or his Sharingan, but because he's like a third Hashirama.
>>
>>147587703
I don't believe it. It's never explored as to whether medical ninjutsu on your sharingan to counteract the negative effects so it's not just damage to the eyes. Mangekyo is something closer to you only get x number of uses and sacrifice your vision for each use. Obito's sharingan were just unique because kamui's given a low priority when it comes to mangekyo techniques and he can use it so many times that the loss is insignificant. As proof of this there's never any reference to Kakashi losing any sight either.
>>
>>147588105
Medical ninjutsu can't help, but Hashirama cells have some kind of super special property that can. Just like they let Danzo use Kotoamatsukami daily instead of once a decade

Kakashi barely ever used Kamui until like the day before he lost it
>>
>>147588105
Hashirama's natural healing factor isn't medical ninjutsu.

That being said, I just checked the wiki and there's literally no explanation as to why Obito can burn through Kamui without any adverse effects.

The only reason I can think of is - as per fucking usual - poor writing. Since Kamui is literally Obito's main combat style, and he only has one eye for most of his time, Kishimoto clearly couldn't subject him to the usual exhaustion and blindness, since he'd use Kamui like four times and then pass out. It's never explained because Kishimoto couldn't give a legitimate reason, even though a semi-legitimate reason is literally ATTACHED TO OBITO'S BODY.

Hashirama cells are pretty much just the accepted reason anyway.
>>
>>147586925
As expected from the coolest guy
>>
>>147586925
Shisui's is potentially better since he could look at the back of Obito's head from fifty metres away and say 'Killing yourself is a REALLY good idea', and Obito will go 'You know what's a REALLY good idea? Killing myself!'
>>

>>
>>147589136
> the ultimate badass

Yeah, no.

Also, the only reason it wasn't enough is because Shisui was too much of a bitch to use it. Use it once on the clan to disable the coup, once on Danzo to stop him being a clan-murdering faggot, and once of Obito to stop him wanting to nuke the Village. Done.
>>
>>147588932
Isn't Shisui's shit unspammable?
>>
>>147589335
Only when it was implanted into a common crow. Danzo was able to use it more than once a decade due to Hashirama cells, and while it was never shown, it can be assumed that Shisui, as the original holder of the eyes, could also using it without much - if any - of a cooldown.
>>
>>147589335
Why didn't Itachi rips out Naruto's eyes and implant Shisui's?
>>
>>147583194
Minato was a chuuni.
So was his grandson.
>>
>>147589679
Kishi would have to think about how to make sharingan + sage mode + kurama mode eyes.

Also, the manga already had like 5 main characters with sharingans.
>>
>>147589679
It changes depending on whether the characters have time or not, but by and large, a fair degree of medical ninjutsu is required to successfully transplant eyes. In the case of Madara just popping them in and out, that can be explained by Hashirama's cells instantly taking to the new eye and healing any optic nerve damage. Considering Naruto was an enemy at the time, I don't believe Itachi thought Naruto - and whoever was with him - would allow Itachi to perform surgery on him.

He also only had one eye, and it was already in the crow, likely already pre-set with PROTECT KONOHA. The stupidity of stuffing a full fucking crow inside Naruto, it was a decent plan.
>>
>>147589679
>giving a senju Sharingan
Might as well give him the rinnegan from Nagato
>>
>>147590048
Why? Shisui's eye wouldn't turn into the Rinnegan inside Naruto.
>>
>>147590047
Itachi was able to implant Shisui's eye into a fucking crow, I don't think it would of been an issue to implant them in Naruto. He could of performed the operations while Naruto was under his genjutsu. If the eye is already preset to activate when they see Itachi's eyes then whether they are in a crow inside or in Naruto's eye socket doesn't make a difference
>>
If Akatsuki didn't have Itachi and Obito, could they have actually captured the Tailed Beasts that weren't in a Jinchuuriki? Like, I know in the anime that Obito and Deidara go head to head with Isobu, but look at Kurama's attack on Konoha. Almost the entirety of adult shinobi were unable to stop - or even slow - it, and that's with Hiruzen fighting as well. Minato - the strongest shinobi in the Village at the time - couldn't even seal the entire thing and had to split it in half, and only sealed is using a top-tier Uzumaki Fuinjutsu.

As strong as the shinobi in the Akatsuki are, I don't think Hidan and Kakuzu could reliably take down a rampaging Tailed Beast. Kakuzu's hearts would just all detonate at once if he got hit by a full-size Tailed Beast ball. I don't think Kisame's sword could suck down enough of a Tailed Beast's chakra to actually weaken the beast. Sasori's puppets would be near-useless against something the size of a city block that fires nukes.

Capturing a Jinchuuriki is easier than a Tailed Beast. Would've been good if one of the Jinchuuriki took a ninja cyanide pill just to deny the Akatsuki a Tailed Beast, and like six of the Akatsuki have to go to bring it down, if Itachi and Obito are otherwise engaged.
>>
>>147590741
I think Naruto had someone alongside him when Itachi put the crow into Naruto. At least half an hour would've been needed to do a successful surgery, even with Naruto's Kurama healing factor, assuming he actually had medical tools with him...which I'm pretty sure he didn't. Battlefield surgery would not have been a good idea for Itachi to try and perform.
>>
What if Kakashi and Obito switched eyes?
>>
>>147590842
In the anime Hidan and Kakuzu take down the 2 tails with relative ease, Kisame takes down the 4 tails solo, Deidara defeats the Kazekage solo and the 3 tails with a single bomb

Obito never truly believed in the plan and wanted to be talked out of it by Naruto. Hence why Black Zetsu says he Obito was hoping Naruto would never give up while fighting him.

>Shisui was too much of a bitch to use it
which is why Obito is the ultimate and not Shisui.

Most of the Akatsuki members were too dimwitted for a job of that caliber. Only Akatsuki up to the job I'd say would be Kisame, and that's because he did pretty well while trying to retrieve Killer B.

Clearly hard enough to not reconsider by himself for over 15 years. Naruto simply said 'muh Hokage' and Obito was like "Huh, yeah, fair enough then'.

> which is why Obito is the ultimate
Itachi could defeat Obito, due to infallible Golden Boy status

> was that crow even real or genjutsu? That entire situation's confusing as Hell.
It was a real crow, with a real Sharingan. How did it fit inside Naruto? It's chakra, I ain't gotta explain SHIT.

> it was also a shadow clone so implanting an eye wouldn't(?) work
It wasn't a shadow clone. It was a corpse that had been manipulated to take on Itachi's form and be controlled through Itachi.
>>
>>147591186
Naruto didn't, and Itachi does use genjutsu allow him to implant the crow in Naruto so we can assume he had enough time to perform the surgery. Itachi could of kept Naruto under Genjutsu, and subsequently fled, for a significant longer time than half an hour considering how widespread everyone was. Though I agree the lack of medical tools could of been a potential flaw in this idea

He never interacted with Obito as Obito, only when he believed Obito was Madara.

Also, I thought that Naruto that got crow'd was real.
>>
>>147592289
Now that I think about it why did a single Kage not die in the war?
>>
>>147592372
I could be misremembering but I thought the real Naruto was with the group, and I recall him reacting when the shadow clone disappeared to having just met Itachi.

Also my point is that Itachi was a Konoha agent infiltrating Akatsuki and if he felt like he could take down their leader he likely would have.

>>147592486
No idea, now they're just rotting away as useless corpses. Instead they give Neji the most ironically tragic death imaginable.
>>
>>147592663
Their leader - while he was in Akatsuki - was Pain. Obito (as Madara) only came to the fore once Akatsuki was disbanded and Pain was dead.

Also, maybe that did happen, and then real Naruto went to Itachi. I dunno. I DO believe that the real Naruto got the crow, since it would've been impossible otherwise.

> they're just rotting away as useless corpses
They're all still alive and get together to complain about things and get fucking hammered.

Hidan and Kakuzu defeated the two tails when the Jinchuuriki had entirely given itself to the beast, so they were basically fighting a Tailed beast.

Deidara could have solo'd every tailed beast

Seriously, Darui is fucking shit compared to A, who was fucking shit compared to the Third Raikage.

>>147592893
I thought that was bullshit too. The Tailed Beasts are supposed to be these things that are walking natural disasters yet the full Tailed Beasts never really do anything with that tidbit. Yugito should've steamrolled Hidan (who is fucking shit) and Kakuzu.

At least the others were wrecked because they didn't have backup or their Tailed Beast modes.

>>147596524
Darui actually has an interesting and powerful bloodline limit and useful bloodline limit. Kurotsuchi is really cute. Chojuro's just a retarded successor though.

>Hidan (who is fucking shit)
he's the only one to survive, that's something
>>
>>147596935
Do you wanna make one?

>>147596972
Hidan is dead. He was chopped into pieces, he could not perform any rituals to Jashin, his immortality would be revoked, and he would be dead by now.
>>
>>147596972
Darui isn't really strong though. Like, the Kages all have something that make them goddamn monsters.

>Kurotsuchi is cute
and weaker than Oonoki and his laser-duster.
>>
>>147597105
Kurotsuchi and Chojuro were strong enough to temporarily hold Kinshiki, who needed to literally kill himself to get free and get back to Momoshiki. He was already dead when he offered himself to Momoshiki.
>>
>>147597063
he was well alive while being buried. He's still down there having a miserable time.

>>147597105
I think Darui was captain of a battalion in the war which gives him experience. And they don't all have to be ridiculously strong, Kakashi became Hokage and he was pretty weak.

Kurotsuchi's most likely just as weak as Chojuro just saying I don't mind because she's one of my favourite girls in the series and I'd like her to be in a position where we can see more of her.
>>
>>147597273
Kai no Sho, the second Naruto fanbook by Kishimoto, which is canon, was released in 2009 and states that Hidan is slowly dying due to malnutrition. By the time of Boruto, unless he was dug up by Jashinists, he would irrevocably be dead. Unless more Edo Tensei shenaningans occur.
>>
>>147597357
>killing someone through malnutrition

Good taste. I'll admit a guilty want of mine is to read a fic that does a romance between she and Naruto in a believable way, difficult as it sounds.
>>
>>147597626
I'd also read it. I'm a sucker for girls with pixie or otherwise boyish haircuts.

>>147597970
not exactly. I'd rather not see anything too lewd, but an alternate universe where they're all really close friends with lots of homoerotic interactions and knowing that they're fucking each other sounds really nice.
>>
>>147598201

You're gay, and that's ok. You don't need to hide from it.
>>
>>147598504
> i also thought about fucking my male friends when i had sleepovers, that's a normal thing right haha
I never said anything remotely like that. Never been attracted to any of my friends when I was a kid. I'm just talking about that degree of closeness you could feel when you were a kid, nothing sexual. Did you ever get that warm fuzzy feeling when you woke up from a sleepover? Feeling like you could tell your friends anything?

But yeah I'm not worried about whether I'm gay or not so doesn't matter.
>>
>>147598682
> there's just something really intimate about that sort of thing that I like. More of a friend thing. Kinda like how you felt when you had sleepovers when you were a kid, y'know what I mean?

Really 'intimate'. About, and I quote, "I'd like to see a homoerotic alternate universe where the boys are all fucking each other senseless"

I don't know about you, mate, but I never felt or thought anything like that. I usually woke up before them, headed out to their games room, and was playing their PS2 or PC when they woke up. It's possible to be mates with someone without getting a 'warm fuzzy feeling' about them.

Though I do like pairing Hinata with Shino at times.
