I'm sure you know about AIDA stealing $20,000USD and Cyberkitsune's plan to inject a rootkit into the tweaker to spy on potential enemies. But that's only the half of it. TD was great, you could optimize your PP usage and rotations/cooldowns. You could memorize spawns. You could push yourself to try to get not only more efficient runs, but more runs in general and best of all, MORE AND BETTER LOOT!

Yamato has none of that. it's a fucking disaster and I can't believe we went from fucking TD to yamato. It's absolutely disgusting and I don't know what the fuck is wrong with Sega's brains.

Yamato has no depth, TD has tons of depth and replay value. Yamato has zero, you will get bored of it VERY fast. You can't add zero depth 0 replay value content to a game that's ALL about repetitively spamming the same shit over and over. This game was literally founded upon repetitiveness - yet we're given content that doesn't work for that type of gameplay?

Honestly, we should at least get a 4 player version of TD we can play anytime I want.

Yamato is disgusting and if it's a glimpse of the future that Sega has in mind for this game, I want no part of it.

I don't think anyone here plays Su, but with the candy box you basically want to get pancakes for maxed element as top priority, then fill the rest with as many parfaits, rolls and cookies as you're allowed to and after that fill in any gaps with whatever (likely gummies and sandwiches). With cookies now being 1x2 it's pretty easy to fit everything. look at pso2.swiki.jp/index.php?キャンディー to see what you can get. Also don't look at falz arms to see how you're doing, but parser is banned now anyway so not like that matters anymore.

I keep saying yamato had real potential because they obviously had some concepts in mind, they were just completely half assed the first part (trying to fight your way to the boat, that one part with the speed rings where you have to run through enemy fire, blowing up the Yamato's equipment) but it was all just poorly implemented. (mobs spawns are trivial, that speed ring part is just... there, and you only blow up like 12 guns instead of fighting your way from the hull of the ship or something)

Something completely new would be great, not necessarily defending something. Someone likened Yamato to a reverse TD where we're attacking, if only we actually got something like that.
