Mozu kills better, being a Sniper and has better offensive growths. Niles, like Selena, is a decent combat unit with high utility as a Bow Knight. Use both. I don't feel that Nina should replace Niles since he can still hold his own as a Bow Knight (Shurikenbreaker really helps their combat) and she fills out the niche role better (Shining Bow! Adventurer).

Also I'm not seeing how great Takumi is for anything other than AS and one-shotting regular Ninjas on PP. Playing Rev and he can only get confirmed kills on regular wimpy mooks like Ninjas or Outlaws. He's just too slow and pretty meh if not for his stupidly OP bow that gives him pre-Sniper promotion crits. Made Mozu an Archer and she's much faster while dealing only a bit less damage each shot, hence she doesn't feel "unfair" to me. He's pretty mediocre with a normal bow.

You want to play kind of slow in Nohr Lunatic though, since your staffers need all the exp they can get, and with limited exp available you're going to want to put a lot of people in attack stance to spread exp, which means enemy attack stances are going to result in taking a lot of nicks one way or another. While it's true you want to play aggressively so you don't get overwhelmed, you also can't afford to overextend yourself. Getting Azura to 10 is also important, as the buffs from her song with that skill will make or break what you can do with certain units, getting that to 10 in one stage is certainly possible, and easy to do in the map she joins in after dealing with all the reinforcements.

Silas is iffy with his growths, so I didn't bother mentioning him, just because I got lucky enough with speed and defense level ups to keep him on the team doesn't mean other will later. Also, I had to deliberately get myself down to 50% in his first map to use him effectively there, not everyone has a lord tanky enough to take such a risk.

As I mentioned before, you need to use Niles for a variety of reasons, but bows and mediocre skill mean killing mages should not be one of those. All of Niles' captures are technically "fed" kills, but there's a lot of useful stuff to capture in Conquest, including a few bosses, so he won't need "as much" babying. Not to mention bows are ridiculous against fliers under any circumstance, provided you can actually hit them.

Mozu always finds her way onto my Conquest team. I recruit her immediately after Chapter 7, buy her a bronze bow and a heart seal, feed her as many kills as I can in her paralogue (no I don't use Cupid Bow autism), and I only need to baby her a little bit moving on. By the end of Chapter 8 she's completely caught up with everyone else. I drop Arthur out of the team to give her a space because Fighters are shit and his low-luck gimmick and personal make him a severe liability.

If you don't use her on Birthright or Revelation I would completely understand, simply due to the existence of Takumi, but she's the best bow-user you can get in Conquest (barring Archer Corrin) until you get Nina (and even then, Nina can't have her most optimal mother on Conquest, leaving her prone to getting Speed screwed). Niles is prone to getting Strength and Skill screwed.2
