So, I haven't used my a9lh/reinand-modded 3DS in a while but I decided to use it to play the enw Monster Hunter demo. 5 minutes in and it tells me my SD card was removed but it clearly wasn't.

I went to the home menu, took out the SD card then the 3DS turned off. I immediately put the SD card back in but now it won't turn it back on. I mean, the blue light shows up but that's it, the screen is black, no sound. I took the SD card out and back in several times but no dice.

What can I do?

So I'm confuse for what I've read in here. I'm getting ready to start the Plailect guide but here are my doubts.

I have a 10.3 N3DS with already Ironhax and menuhax working but some anons in here has said that I need to format my system before I attempt the N3DS downgrade.

Does it mean that I need to start from Part 1 again? Or if I format with my SD off and put it again, will I have ironhax still working? Help me clear this up before I achieve greatness.

I'm pretty sure you just need to have homebrew access to run something like Decrypt9(Or whatever 9 it was that let you back them up, I'm not completely up to date on the differences yet), then you just mack your SysNAND backup. As long as you go the A9LH route you're going to have to bring back a NAND backup anyway, so you can just use the SysNAND backup to keep all your stuff.

Well, keep in mind you can just end up redownloading the stuff that disappeared, and you can just make backups of the save files on the stuff you have. You can also phone up Nintendo and go "Hey, I got a new 3DS but my data didn't transfer over, could you help me out?" and then they'd reinstate your privileges as long as you had an NNID logged in while downloading them from the eShop in the first place.

At least, I don't recall that. But you can definitely do that with FBI (FBI2.0.0 and above mark NAND titles in red).

I'm on a New 3DS with version 9.2.0. I have the split nands, and luma 3DS set up. I don't think I have any CFW set up, but I do have reinand as an option in my HBL. I can not get FBI to work from the HBL. It doesn't seem to work on emunand, or sysnand, or even reinand. It either constantly freezes, or just gives me an error message. I've already reset the SD data from the system settings (the dbs folders, yaknow?). It still doesn't work.

I'm not sure where to go or what to do from here? Help?

I had already just done the downgrade. It wasn't successful the first time, but I got it the 2nd time.

I also just finished completely redoing all the steps to redo the entire sd card to have split nands and HBL and everything. There was no step I didn't follow to a T.

I truly doubt it's a bad downgrade; and I really don't want to do all that shit again.
