The BoS is too fractured and small to achieve something like that, not to mention all the other problems they have.

Plus I'm doubtful there is much in the way of suitable base locations the further west you go and even if they were plentiful, it would be a dumbass idea to have them as it makes it harder to project force and obtain supplies from and for the base. Add in the fragility of the Vertibird and you've got a recipe for disaster.

Not him but, actually, Vertbirds are hard to take down in lore, thats why the BoS built all the Tesla canons.

Vertbirids in Fallout 4 being able to be easily taken down is due to a bug that causes only the level 20 versions of the vertibirds to spawn, with the level 30, 40, and 50 versions never spawning even if you get to level 100+

Not even Arthmoor is sure why it happens as the leveled lists are all set up correctly.

It's my go-to armor. Got a mod that gave it a multicam pattern, matching with the assault gas mask.

I hope Nuka World has an actual LMG. An official M60 would be awesome.

I also want some new mods for some existing weapons...seriously. A modded minigun has the same DPS as an unmodded Assault rifle. And the shredder isn't really that useful.

Since its a raider themed DLC it would be neat if the DLC was part weapons pack. If its like RaiderCon where all the Raiders go to sell their stolen loot, they COULD have a wide variety of firearms to purchase from the shady vendors.

I'm still not sure how Nuka World works, is it like a Raider settlement where Raiders sell all their stuff on the black market, or / and its a giant hub of Raidery.

Well uh...hmm. It seems that after combining the hair parts in Blender, and putting the mesh in OS, and exporting as Nif...it gets these weird black spots all over the nif. I noticed this on the bangs but its even worse for this hair.

Um...Kos? Anyone? How do I fix this? These spots will also show up in-game...I also have to do this for like 150ish other hairs. ;_;

There'll probably be one raider-themed weapon and one nuka themed weapon each for melee and ranged given the DLC's description.

Creation kit hasn't been out long enough for really good mods, combat in general is pretty good it's mostly just the dialogue/story/quests that are shit. I'd pirate it first and if you feel like it by the legendary edition when it comes out. The only dlc's i'd recommend buying are far harbour and automatron (and posssibly nuka world when it comes out), just pirate the others.

You do realize that the perks that directly correspond to skills from Fo3 and FNV have roughly the same effect as a level or two spent dumping pointing into that skill, right? Also pretty much all of the perks in 3 and NV are covered by perks in 4. Aside from the skills that just gave you points in a skill, were ones that gave you damage boosts against specific targets, and the occasional misc crap perk. As for the dialogue, all one needs is to make a check for the related perk and rank of perk for difficulty.

To be fair, the shitty workplace kitchen where I work has no decorations of any kind and everything except for the floor and ceiling is the same fake wood brown, ceiling/floor are all the same obnoxious beige that they used on every damn wall, floor and ceiling in the office.

It breaks from the monotony of the workspace grey cubicle walls. Again, no decorations allowed. Also last year they put in automated blinds on the windows to keep the sun out, but they've never been open since.

They'll get stuck on everything. They'll get stuck in basically every dungeon. They're fine for "outside bots" but inside and for actually getting to interiors...nah.

I had 10 of my sentry bot provisioners stop cold and try to kill 1 ghoul holed up in a building. They couldn't get to it. And this is why I give all my robots Assaultron legs.

I think Robobrain treads don't suffer from getting stuck as bad, however, and also provide more carry weight than Assaultron legs.

If carry weight is an issue, get a companion and get them in Power armor.

Trust me anon, if you want a robot companion you don't want Protectron legs or Sentry legs. Protectron legs are fucking slow as molasses and sentry legs get stuck on everything. It will still be able to carry a lot, like 390 pounds iirc.

MAKE EVERY LAST PART VOLTAIC

I think this is the highest non-Protectron / Sentry torso combo you can make. If you want your robot to be a literal packrat that doesnt do much fighting, you might wanna go ahead with Protectron legs, but I still wouldn't suggest Sentry legs. I swore Protectron legs off for good when it took Ada like 10 minutes to get to the Elevator again after falling off.

After you spend a while playing Fallout 4, you forget how hard it is to make a "decent" looking character in NV. Still not sure I'm quite there yet.

In any case I'm playing NV again until Nuka World's release so I don't burn myself out on Fallout 4 before then, and decided I was going to try something a bit different this run and play a character that relies on companions just a bit more. A courtesan-turned-courier after a john left her badly scarred (with texture borrowed shamelessly from NVR) and less-than-marketable. Knows how to use a gun well enough but not really very survivable otherwise.

Haven't decided on whether to make her a darkie or whitewash her so here's two versions.

Which do you guys think looks better?

Also not sure about the hair, so I'm open to suggestions.

This is the same damage threshold execution thing from Skyrim that pissed me off. Basically special animations for kills trigger for you AND enemies when you attack when someone is below a certain threshold of health or close to health based on your damage. What this means is that you could live long enough to kill something before it completes an attack with a standard animation, but the special animation triggers early and fucks you before you can even properly react or anticipate it or even see it coming.

3. Check "Enable high quality mode"
4. Go to advanced tab
5. Check "Enable 2-pass encoding"
6. Go to Arguments
7. Set the 900k value to 3000k or 2000k, depending on the size / resolution of your video. If its going to be 20-30 seconds long, use 2000k, longer than that, 1500k, or 1000k.
8. Press convert
9. Check to make sure webm is at least under 3 mb for 4chan

More or less what I had in mind. Was going to up the weight of scavenged materials a bit, and add some perk tie-ins (stuff like cars giving increasing amounts of Nuclear Material for higher Nuclear Physicist ranks, or more screws and the like from Scrapper ranks.)

Power Armor isn't a walking tank intended to shrug off missiles and anti-material rounds like nothing. It's a mobile weapons platform intended to bring heavy firepower somewhere quickly. The F4 Sentry is great, kind of intimidating to fight until you get stupidly overpowered at level 20. Combat armor is a lot less stupid looking too.
I do not like the new Ghouls at all. The NPCs just look like they've dried out in an oven and the ferals are even more zombielike. Stop putting scripted spawns in fucking graveyards, Todd. 3's(NPCs in particular) were more accurate to lore and creepier.

Most of the new designs are shit too, like anything out of the Institute.

BEcuase if you are talking about Bunker Hill, you only get that unlocked by doing the Battle of Bunker Hill.

If you mean Spectacle Island, you only unlock that by going there yourself and activating the mirelurk purge machine.

B. The "help desk qeustion list" stryle of NPC dialogue is nothing like how people talk
C. The 4 options menu forces devs to actually have to make flowing conversations rather then the "one question, one answer, loop back to the main list" stuff we got before

Sounds like you spent those three hours just dicking around with settlements and not getting past fucking concord, so of course you're not going to get anything but pipe weapons.

Still there are a few 10mms in the vault and sanctuary, a .44 revolver is hidden near sanctuary, and a suit of PA and a minigun also in concord. Also there's other shit in that little town too, but I can't remember all the loot of the top of my head.

The first Tomb Raider in the reboot was pretty decent imo, but I say that as someone who got it for like 5 bucks and was really into the whole plot of rescuing Lara's "friend". The puzzles and platforming left a bit to be desired from what i remember tho.
