You can make several DPS characters and just trade BiS equipment, leaving attributes as the only non-shareable damage investment.

In the past, if you had say 5 DPS characters you would have had to get max petas and sissels and mana manas and +15 xbows for all 5 of them, etc.

Because players buy items and NX from each other and the game pours gold and exp onto everyone just for existing. Also duping. Also anything else you could bot (mats for life skills) are worthless nowadays. The only thing of value are NX items and people just buy NX from each other.

There's still a straggling spam bot from goldaa or something that shows up.

All they need to do is get rid of spam bots. Silver is going to inflate whether people bot or not. Since there's no bank for money, you'll just lose it if you die in harder content. You're most likely just dumping it into attributes and upgrading anyway. Just add some silver gambling gatchapon thing that can drop gems or enchant scrolls or something and watch the money in the economy fade away.

2x Fireballs and Flame Ground would do simillar damage with this much matk (FC based damage becomes almost irrelevant at this points).

But yeah, they need to admit that they fucked up by giving 33 hits/10 seconds to a skill that you just drop it on the ground and proceed to use your better r7+ skills, frost cloud will be relevant almost forever, unlike a balanced skill like psychic pressure who does almost the same number of hits (30) with higher damage but locks you channeling the spell

In the times of bots, they were mostly running around killing raccoons in dugald isle. I think they moved on to botting metallurgy when that was added. There are no bad classes, only bad builds. Except Rodelero. Don't bother with that class. You should look at a build simulator and make one before you make your character, but just try to avoid choosing one of each class.

Swordsman: Peltasta 1 (Max Swashbuckling)
Cleric: Cleric 2 (Max Heal, Turn Off Heal Damage)

Peltasta will get you easy invites into late game parties since they need a taunt for farming exp most efficiently (and few swordsmen reach the late game so you're guaranteed a spot).
Be prepared to get the shit beat out of you since your role is mostly being a meatshield.
Aim for a good amount of CON and DEX to maximize your role since no amount of STR will ever let swordsman compete with DPS archers and mages.

Cleric 2 is simple: no one else gets heal skills, and level 10 heal is enough for the meta.
Spam heals and safety zone as soon as they come off cooldown and everyone will love you forever.
In general support clerics build SPR/CON and damage clerics build INT/CON.

Skills not shown are the AI skills and 4 Desmodus, 1 Evocation.
Sorc3 is a PvP/GvG build for max TS and Bats, so decent CON is needed.
If you're not really focusing on those then you can go Sorc2Warlock instead and get more INT.

Some Sorc tips:
Summoning checks for your INT at the time of casting, you can get an INT set then swap out to CON/phys def gear afterwards.
Morphing is bugged right now resulting in weaker summons, get it but don't use it much.
Finally, try to get -SP gear like Magas Rod and unroasted blue gems. The drain updates dynamically so you can switch to a lower SP pool after summoning.

Monk skills have very high base damage and low scaling, you should go full CON and ride the base damage and multi hits to victory. A well played monk is unstoppable in PVP but they're very hard to play. This is why there's been 1 or 2 monks in the Korean top 20 forever but never more than that.

Chaplain is a class that focuses on ridiculously strong auto-attacks (regular z action) using aspergilum.
The good point of chaplain is that your damage is based off of your SPR stat, which strengthens your support spells.
The bad thing is that auto-attacks stop being useful after level 200.

Chaplain is a hidden class, hidden classes only have 1 circle.
The cookie-cutter chap is:
cleric -> priest 3 -> chap -> cleric/krivis -> plague doctor

Diev is a versatile class that can deal high physical damage (by cleric standards) or high magic damage while still having a good support arsenal.
Unlike priest and krivis, the support abilities of Diev don't need SPR, so you can focus growth on attack stats like INT, STR and DEX.

Druid is a late-game class that people build into from Krivis or Diev.
It has good support at circle 2, but is primarily a magic damage boost with just 1 circle.

Owls kinda suck for bosses since they get thrown around like toys by them and do practically nothing in most cases.
Now while Zaibas has double INT scaling, don't expect it to be a heavy hitter for late game unless you level the attribute or get an Ice mob, in which case it will completely destroy.
It sucks for AoE like most Cleric "AoE" skills unless a Linker is involved, so Owls reign on party grind because of their true AoE nature.

I suppose! Chortasmata doesn't affect flying mobs though, so you won't be able to get that extra Plant-type damage when facing one.
Druids are typically INT builds to get those deeps with Carnivory (30 hits at lvl.5, 40 hits at lvl.10), but if you were going STR cleric path I can see it working. I wonder how carnivory fares with little INT investment.

I get to R5 exactly on every single new character and then I stop playing on it. Done it on 5 characters now. It's like clockwork. Right at R5, the game stops being bearable. I have no idea why. Rod got buffed in ktos, while falconer is still shit in ktos. Not to mention it still relies on the 1 skill per call mechanic and the perch is completely shit and makes it even harder to play falconer because when your bird is taking off/landing, any skill you use will be ignored.

And oh btw, linker's JP + HK is better than circling and you get it at rank 3 instead of 6.

+10 Maga Spear, 50% attribute on everything(costs about 5m to buy it all). Gems helps too, though I only have Shield Bash one.

Rodel damage is hard to set up. You need to apply the strike damage debuffs to monsters to actually do decent damage but, if you are a good tank, it's easy enough to ball them all nicely into an area that you can hit them all.

It's also very sp intensive. To the point where I actually put points into SPR. The ability to block magic is really nice, and having a plethora of ccs that knockdown, silence, and stop attacks is great for mob control.

Once the kTOS buffs hit, Rodel will be the undisputed best damage in the swordsman tree.

Stats:
Put points in CON until staying alive is no longer a problem (this depends on player skill, and various technical factors outside of your control)
All other points into SPR to maximise buff effectiveness and aspersion damage

Cafrisun armor should be used until level 170.
Get it as soon as you can since it will increase your damage considerably.
Don't worry about end game equips until you actually get there, it takes a while to farm for the materials anyways.

Cafrisun will maximize damage but the low accuracy can be a nuisance.
Necklaces and bracelets with +DEX or +Accuracy can mitigate the downsides of cafrisun armor, but +SPR effects will improve aspersion damage and buff potency, +CON and +HP effects can be used if you are stingy with your level up points and need more durability.
Take whatever you prefer.
At level 75 there is a bracelet called the 'Zachariel Bangle' obtained from the main story quest, keep this until the end of time.

A rare and expensive weapon called the 'Arde Dagger' will be equippable at level 75 up.
Try to get your hands on one if you can afford it, the damage boost is huge and is usable even up to the level cap.

Main weapon stats mean nothing as a chaplain or priest build, you can equip garbage off the ground and it makes no difference to your damage output.

Priest and Chaplain builds have high SPR to increase the strength of aspersion and priest buffs.

You can (almost) never go wrong investing a point into CON, but that doesn't mean it's always the best choice.
Min-max stats contribute nothing to your party if you spend your time being dead or running away, but if you never die more CON is probably a waste.
