Playing Underrail, got to Junkyard and saved the guy hunting cave hoppers.
Is it just me, or is pickpocketing useless? I've dumped as many points as I can into stealth, and even if I sneak up behind someone, they very quickly notice me, so I've only managed to pickpocket one person so far in the game. Maybe I should restart and dump the pickpocket stats into dodge or evade instead. Is there anything important I might miss by not pickpocketing?
It also doesn't help that the merchants only want specific things, so even without pickpocketing people my inventory is starting to get cluttered (although I guess I can just walk back to my room and stuff the junk into my locker.)

I thought the ending was perfect for LISA. This isn't Mass Effect where the story has a very Hollywoodesque tone and pacing and then you get to the end and its a "deep and artistic" melancholic tragedy. LISA, from the start, is a very ambiguous and gross tale, so the ending was just a follow up to that.

Still playing though Underrail, trying to get the drillbits from the Junkyard. These muties ain't no joke. I'm sticking to the oddity system, works pretty well if you're a sneaky lockpicker and hacker.
Also, I was digging around though Joyful's database, and checking to see what characters are immune to being flustered by Buddy. From what I can tell, these characters are:

It's interesting to see that some joy mutants can be flustered while others aren't. Chester curiously can be flustered as a human, but not as a joy mutant. It could be possible some of the joy mutants that can't be flustered were gay (and if Sweetheart is female, straight) or of some other persuasion that would make them uninterested in Buddy or the mutation might have just increased their savagery to a point where they lost their sex drive and only have bloodlust remaining.
The only human characters who can resist getting flashed are Dr. Yado (at least he is better in this way than Marty was,) Mr Beautiful and his men (I head-canon it as them being disciplined) and Big L at the start of his battle (I see his gaining an immunity as him "seriousing up" for the battle."
Also, all of Big L's men, except for Poker Heat Johnson, have something called "state rate: flustered 50%." I think it means they only have half the normal chance to get flustered.
Strangely, Joy Mutant Brad isn't immune to being flustered, but it could be that Dingaling didn't bother to give Brad the immunity because there is no way for Buddy to get flash when you fight him.
I've heard people say that Vega Van Dam is extra vulnerable to getting flustered, but his data doesn't seem to reflect this, so maybe it's just a rumor.
