I play DRK/WHM but I'm really looking forward to what RDM and SAM bring to the table. I don't really dig the melee DPS we have now and I'd not mind taking on Samurai.

As far as things I want to see, I'd like to see PLD get something along the lines of Greased Lightning and another cooldown or other defensive ace in the hole to call their own.

For DRK, they need to just give it up and give Delirium the Blunt Resistance Down it always deserved and then a few fourth hits to their combos could be fun. They should definitely play more with how much MP they burn through (which is to say, more things to use Dark Arts on) and replenish in a given period so that there's more serious fluctuation going on, I think. While I'm not super big on throwing back to FFXI's DRK, I think access to both a single target Osmose/Aspir and an AoE Osmoga/Aspiga would be pretty sick.

Already mentioned WHM prior, so.

IIRC raids in GW2 are a lot looser in party comps than XIV. You require roles, like tank, healer, DPS and conditions, but the fact that most classes can fill multiple roles means comp isn't really as strict as XIV's. I doubt we will see raid role requirements in fractals, and we certainly won't see it in the overworld, so what is the issue?

It's proof that Anet can actually do SOMETHING which the playerbase desperately needed, and it's an actually really good standard to hold the rest of the content teams to.

Literally all it needs is an oGCD AoE healing spell so it can have something comparable to Assize and Indomitability.

Buff the cards in some way shape or form so they're consistently good.

Give them another AoE damage spell.

Also Stop, which should function similar to Stun except maybe last like 6+ seconds or so.

AST is our psuedo time mage, so I want it to actually feel as such. It mixes a lot of cool aesthetics and shit but the time aspect of the class should be touched upon more. The only two time related abilities they have are Celestial Opposition and Time Dilation.

For all the memes, AST (outside of Nocturnal) isn't a bad class. It doesn't really play like WHM does, so the

How viable do you think it would be to create a group/LS of people willing to farm out birds for each and every person?
Fuck PF and fuck RNG. I've seen people go 100, 200, 300 runs and beyond and still not get their bloody bird, it took 31 runs for me to finally SEE one, and I know someone who didn't see one till their 90th.
I honestly think it would be a lot quicker if you had a party of 8 people who clear runs, kind of like a static that raids on specific days and times, only to farm birds, but do you think there's enough people willing to do this?

Kingdom Hearts has a suffix they use in place of -ja, that being -gun Gravigun, that could see use. Somewhat oddly, "Stopgun" was changed to "Stopza" for one of the localizations, so they could use that too but I wouldn't count on it.

Anyone else NOT want a lot of new abilities in a new expansion ? I wouldn't really mind one or two, because it's cool to have new shit, but if we got another five I don't know how I would start to find room for them.

I'm already pretty maxed out on keybindings when you account for PvP abilities. I have small little manlet hands and can't comfortably reach a lot of button combinations, shit even a lot of the ones I already have can hurt my hand after playing for a few hours.

Yes, the WoD set will make you look like a barbarian king or an evil knight, something like that. Fray's set, the chivalric coat of fending/gryphon leather skirt ensemble looks good too. Some hauberks look pretty good, but they fit male characters a lot better than female ones imo. I love the heavy allagan set but I don't think it looks very dark knight-y. Lord's set is nice also, and if you just want to look like a knight and not necessarily a "dark" one the Adders armor that you buy with alliance seals is pretty nice

Actually i noticed a mistake on that math and i'll correct it now.

Basing on a 8 person party.
Aspected helios (200*9) + (200*0.4) + (200*0.2) = 1920 potency heal
+ 400*8 + 400*0.2 for hots = 3280 potency hot
helios (300*9) + (300*0.4) + (300*0.2) = 2880 potency heal

WHM ofc has the advantage with DS+cure III being 5720 potency heal instantly + 2400 from assize. Or more comparable even with medica II with DS+medica II having 2080 potency + 5200 on Hots

Scholar is at 1200 with succor for heal with the same amount for shield + 3200 from indom.

In a nutshell AST benefits.....no pun here, more from using aspected helios and a helios right afterwards while WHM works better by using a super potent cure III.
Considering all classes mp regains and roles, AST can work pretty well with helios combos. But every single AST wants to be a WHM and wants to play as a WHM, the fuck can we do.
