Mesa 5 was neat. A highlight of my little adventure was stumbling upon a sexbed in what I thought was a public space station. So I left his radio on and went on my way. Insilico is next and it looks like it is going to take a whole damn day to check out.

I'm sorry to go so suddenly without any notice; it was unexpected for me also. Thank you to all who have shown me so much kindness throughout my time here. Rest assured that my reasons for leaving are entirely positive.

SL was merely a distraction from worthwhile goals and solutions.
I could be a lot better off right now--both in art and other areas--if I hadn't been so diligent in SL.

Sure, but don't compare "improvement" to "NO improvement," compare "improving in SL" to "improving via alternate methods."
Is it worth it? That's relative to what your goal is.

For me (since I want to be an illustrator / character concept artist) it caused severe skill imbalance while consuming more time than a real job and paying as little as a fast food shift manager; therefore yes, SL was holding me back. I am better off working a real job and using my spare time to practice art.

So maybe...if you're an aspiring artist...keep this in mind and learn from my mistake.

In Real Life I'm now playing "Catch Up" on everything I missed due to 10 years of wasted time playing this thing called "Pretend Your Precious Life Away"--err, I mean--"Second Life."
