Parsers make people more competitive with each other trying to 1 up each other and striving for maximum DPS.

Games that ban parsers foster a community/player base of casuals using 0 affixes on their units not even trying and makes all the good players quit, in return causes the devs to cater to this player base of "Bad" players and create easy content.

I agree with this but I can't really side with this choice.

In early episode 2 each class held roles that were important for the eq to be effective in a players growth.

Pso2 for the longest time has been terrible at balancing classes, finishing mechanic systems, RNG control, and development outside of aesthetic.
My idea would be that players only choose the one and most weighted class to get a "competitive" edge.
This kills diversity and overall leads to class rebalances that only kill and break classes further.


My preference would be a mixture of casual and harder playtypes.
I would also add the idea of advanced tutorials but that would be a bit too much.
So the player is actually getting a better experience from his/her efforts.

With games like pso2 linear improvement is easy but it creates huge gaps of wasted and unnecessary space.
All those shaq weapons, xq weapons, and normal drops have no meaning and no person will buy them now or bother to work for them.
All those affixes, units, and boosters will have no use either.
Some eqs will have to become a thing of the past entirely or be remodeled to fit in with the rest of the content.


Also the goal isn't to pander to the people who want harder or casual content,
the goal is to pander to the majority and parts of the fanbase with the most money.

Casual people will usually pay for a shortcut accelerated experience because they have that option with their currency even if its not even a big change. Too hard and they may not try the shortcut at all and just leave.

You mainly want to spec around the compound you plan to use, and the main ones you'll want to use are Barantsion and Fomelgion.
If you want to be especially optimally specced, you'd have 2 trees for both Force and Techter. One Force tree focused on Ice, one for Fire; One Techter tree for Dark and one for Light.
Ice/Light Fo/Te for Barantsion, Fire/Dark Fo/Te for Fomelgion. There is also Fo/Fi for maximum Fire effectiveness, but that's a bit more niche.
You can use a combined Dark/Light Techter tree though and not lose much aside from PP.

Continued since I almost reached max character limit there.

Wind, Dark and Lightning are of fairly limited usefulness in the game currently, and Dark is only in the Fire tree to increase Fomelgion's damage. We'll discount even using Zandion because of that.

For Fire techs: Rafoie, Gifoie and Foie are mainly what I rely on. Gifoie I mostly use from a Talis after Zondeel.
For Light techs: Ragrants mainly, Ilgrants and Grants depending on the situation. Zondeel and Ragrants from a Talis is also a decent way to mob, or maybe even the only way.
For Ice techs: You'll mainly want to do the general 7x Ilbarta stack from Talis. 3x uncharged then the next 4 charged.

For weapons, Ray serves well for something that's not Austere. For 12*, Psycho Wands are good, as well as the Magatsu Rod. Note that the potential of Pwand doesn't contribute to compound tech damage.
For an Ice Talis, the 12* Maihime Kaougi or whatever it's called, it looks like a fan, with the booster potential is good.

The only 12* rod that matters is Nox NT. I recommend getting 12* and 13* Talises, though. Gal Wind is almost free or the fan one for ice like you said and then 13* like Revolutio, Quartz or Ares to build for the other elements.

Also, forgot to say this but, I took all the attack ups there were. I wouldn't put points into any buff though, especially when you'll generally see a Techter in your MPAs.

As for weapons though, yeah I completely forget Nox Rod exists for 12*. I moved on from 12*s quite some time ago so I haven't kept track.
13* though, Quartz/Ares/Revo are usable, yeah. It'd be better to focus your efforts on the Collect File for Ray now though, then anything else in-between as long as it doesn't get in the way of Ray.

Sure, that's exactly what I also thought at first, however it's been a while now, I believe I have gathered a decently sized sample already, and I think we're all able to discard extremely shitty groups or individual members out of comparisons at this point.
Except for the couple obvious EQ where light would be undeniably better, or outright the only usable choice because of resistances, every time I go lightning it's always up there.

I also compared numbers against myself running same content using different elements, still holds up at the top most of the time, but that opens up the argument to other different amazing rebuttals such as me not knowing how to use them properly.

I'm sorry if this feels dismissive to you, but again, this whole discussion is far from new.

What else would you accept as "proof" anyways?
The only way I can prove it is by forcing you to play it so you can see for yourself.

To me, pugs aren't a good measure if you want consistant comparison to other plays, by virtue of them being possibly absolutely terrible, and on a good streak of bad ones too. It's not a matter of an excuse just to disregard someone else, but something to be extremely wary of. There's no shortage of bad pugs, and player quality is unpredictable even if using meta builds everyone espouses.

As for proof, I'd say what would suffice is usage in relevant content or TD, possibly organised if possible with similar gear and playstyle. That way, it'd pit the elements against each other and see which would do the job better in their circumstance. While not entirely possible, it would be almost ideal.
