He didn't exist during BC, they said during blizzcon like 2014 that the name of the draenei from the cinematic was maraad. He wasn't put into the game until Wotlk and gave out 2 quests in Icecrown, then he was mentioned as being one of the people to lead the invasion in WoD.

They were going to give him a story in WoD, but they cut his story along with most of the draenei story including yrel's to talk about orcs.

No. We all have favourites. I have a handful of favs but can play most heroes competently. It's just I know more/play better and feel more comfortable with some heroes more than others.

My most played hero has ~70 games played yet I have ~900 games played and every hero is at least level 5 for me. I also tend to play my "favourites" in ranked. Playing heroes you're unfamiliar and/or not good with in ranked is terrible.

My most played character from early Alpha right up until about 7 months ago. They added far too many heroes that absolutely shit all over him and do what he does, but better, and all of that bullshit.

He, Rexxar, Nazeebo and Xul (Only because of my boner for the Necromancer.) are the only heroes I really thoroughly enjoy playing. I could just play them forever and be happy with just them.

Though that list might expand were they to ever add D2 Druid, Siegecrafter Blackfuse or Trade Prince Gallywix.

So I've only recently started playing Blizzard games , Overwatch being the main one. A little bit of Hearthstone since the beta. That being said I know 6ish characters in the entire roster. I've only been tracer, and while she's fun, I would like to try out some new people. I'm also relatively new to the genre, only playing smite for a little bit before, but tracer plays pretty much the same way in Overwatch, so I get her pretty easy. Any suggestions herowise? And with that, anything gamewise? Not looking to get a subscription, so I think that excludes Warcraft. I play loads of Marvel Heroes, which I know is created by Brevik, and is very similar to Diablo. Do I need to play the first two to understand the 3rd? And Starcraft? Don't know much about it. Just know it's human vs bug aliens in realtime strategy. Sorry if it's a lot, but I'm still getting used to this game

diablo, wc3, and sc are great. if you like sc look into sc2 as it has some free to play features. probably best to wait for a full series bundle sale for <$40 to actually buy in.

diablo ii is near perfect. good to grind, good in short sessions, with just enough variety in characters and monsters to always feel different and re-playable. it's not a high skill game but it's far more intrinsically rewarding than d3's "find a better weapon" amateur shitshow design. with d3 you can save your money. about the only thing right in that game is the characters and they are represented in HoTS well enough. if you want to play it watch a playthrough on youtube.

These are legitimately good ideas. Double mercs, and the ability to respawn mercs actually sounds fucking amazing. You could totally build a good character off of that, but the problem is the game is for some reason too focused on teamfighting and not enough on the mercing/PvE aspect on the majority of maps, outside of the objective.

He'd need a kit that allowed him to at least be a threat in the middle of a fight, but with all of that merc power, he'd essentially end up being a better Gazlowe. Maybe offset it by giving him garbage mercing and sieging capabilities, wherein Gaz at least has that over him?

Ultimates could be something utilizing his cooking pot, and then his other ultimate being something like him summoning a fleet of Defias Buccaneers to form a defensive line around Cookie in a huge area, each counting as a minion unit.
