Ninja is the strongest dps with a 4 or 5 button rotation. Though you do have to never get hit to keep max dps
Bralwer is best tank and second best dps
Gunner is a super safe ranged dps
Basically play Brawler, Ninja, a Healer, Slayer or wait until class re balances where older classes become good again.

Still strong in PvE, didn't get hit too hard by any particular nerf. Not nearly as BS in PvP as they used to be, as with any of the classes with a "second chance on death" mechanism since all of those got disabled for PvP, so long as they leave Shadow Reaping out of the equation.

I'm not super 100% on this stuff but from what I have seen Ninjas and Brawlers both beat Gunners in dps. I think Gunners got nerfed at some point though (not too sure on this, mostly assuming)

Lancers are still good but they do less damage and require more skill to use.

Also yeah Ninjas have a buff that increases your damage up to 10 times for every x seconds you don't get hit so if you get hit their dps drops a lot.

This game is all about finding friends or at least a guild to play with. Finding friends is more preferable to a guild though since most guilds already have all their people grouped together for runs and aren't usually open to accepting strangers.

If you just post on the thread asking for people to do IMS or battlegrounds with you'll make a few friends you can play with and even ERP with

Yeah I know, with the lv 25 guy played for a few hours trying to understand everything while playing, literally diving into the game without knowing a single thing about it. Lvl 11 with all the new stuff suddenly appearing on screen and the drops for enchanting/avatar weapons and the gems and the area quests for faction reputation, god it was such a clusterfuck. Also if you are in a 4chan guild you can always run a couple things with people and leave it at that. No need to befriend everyone

Moderately to avoid (aside from leveling because it's dungeon/mob grinding) but having not made it to actual endgame I assume it takes a bit more resistance to put up with the real complete endgame

Actually, Tera has a shocking number of women playing. Basing that on skype video calls, meet ups, and just general gigolo activity.
